Nano Dragon Coil

I know someone had posted this before but I just tried this tonight and let me say WOW!!!!....not bad at all

made a nano coil with 10 wraps of 28g kanthal and use cotton for my wick....came out to .55 ohms......

no i covered one side of the hole to make it come out one side purposely......i wanted it to come out towards the air hole....seemed like i could get more clouds that way......with both side of the coil open i wasn't getting as much clouds.......this was strictly a could maker coil setup i was playing with

thanks.....i tried this before with silica and gave up on them......got a hunch today and tried it with cotton and viola......i think I'm gonna stick with this now......LOL

So looks like a nano not a dragon,
The dragon orients the coil opening facing the airhole, but does indeed leave the coil empty with wick around it, instead of inside it, so the air passes straight through the heated coil.
So this is a hybrid type, what did you with the pointy twist on your wick tuck it and plug the end of coil opposite the feed hole?
I totally dig the vid showing vapor blasting out the side of that coil, will build tomorrow

the point end came around the post to the right and tucked under the coil.....i cut the pointy end off also since i rolled that with my hands which had residue on it......the other end was brought around the left post and tucked under the wire coming from the left post but ensuring to leave feed hole on RM2 unblocked.......that one was brought around just to keep that leg wire from the left post from getting too hot.......

I kept the left side of the coil covered to only allow the vapor to come out of one side......when doing dragon coils I've learned in the few i have done that the vapor will flow out of the positive side of the coil hence why i covered the negative side.

but yeah we can call it a hybrid type.....LOL.......but all in all same concept as the coil is hollow on the inside and the wick is wrapped around the outside of coil so when it fires the vapor comes from the one opening on the coil

Nano coils are like my go to in a pinch. I haven't perfected then but I do love then when I need a quick build or want something different.

Tried a different method tonight to get the coil opening to face the air hole evenly. I think I like this better.
