Yeah it's in my rotation and I like it a lot. Doesn't have the bite of lab artis nor the tang of Chinese tobaccos. It's more in the style of TINO, but I wouldn't call it that because it does taste like tobacco to me. Smooth Smokey Joe is a very solid artibacco that I highly recommend.

That one and their R-YLD-4 impressed me. I have Vanilla Sky tobacco Road, Coumarin Pipe, and Cardamom Cigar on my list to try. Morning Orchard from them sounds interesting too, creamy peach and fresh coffee???? May just be crazy enough to work.

Yeah, I think it's safe for me to venture into their tobacco line-up now. See, that's how you get me as a customer. They took away all the risk.

One more thing about SSJ: that room note after the exhale is fantastic!

You wrote a full paragraph on GeJ and didn't mention Patriot?! Why you do like dat?!

Dusty, seen your post about Patriot and decided to give it another try. It's a 30ml bottle @ 18mg that was made on 9/12/13. She sure has aged a bit. This time, I used some CVS Sterile Cotton. Spun a little down in the microcoil, and saturated it. Before I knew it, out comes this very unique tobacco flavor with a strong TH. Perique leads the way as the Virginia Burley and Kentucky Cavendish follow.

Very pleased with this juice. Will fill up a tank and use some SS Mesh (for the long endurance hall). You were right about this juice. The more it ages, the better it becomes. I shook it up good an hour ago, and there is still a layer of tiny bubbles covering the surface. That tells me that Patriot is a potent juice, and is ready to be vaped. But dang it, I just can't put the Heavenly Army down long enough to do anything else.

Haven't had any problems with it in R91 clone. It's a one tanker tho. Now Vurley--that's only good for about 3ml.

It's those one tankers and less that bother me.. Who has the damn time to change stuff on a daily basis?!

I can go almost the whole work week with Huntsman in my KFL that I use at work. Same build and setup..

I tend to use the slightly gunkier juices at home, where I rotate through two other KFL's.. MOV, NET.com, Nicoticket stuff and others. I usually get around 2 tanks (sometimes) before requiring swap out of wick.

I bought a bunch of MOV Artis hoping that one of them would take my fancy, but that's not happened yet.. so, letting them get a bit more of a steep in the hope that something clicks!

Oh, you aren't retired? Bummer. :)

I can't stand dripping anymore (other than quick taste testing), so I don't mind the daily changing vs the convenience of having a tank.

LOL no.. between work and my 5 year old, I'm lucky to have any time to myself for the majority of the day. Once she goes to bed, my lovely wife takes over.. It's why you'll see me posting on 3 or 4 devices through the day.

Grab whatever is nearest to keep up here. :)

You never would have made it as someone who rolls their own cigs lol. Wick change.. two minutes tops.

No I would not, and never did. I usually stocked up for the month..

And yes, I do know that changing wicks is quick but when I get that burnt taste of a gunker, and can't do the wick change at that very moment, I start to look like this..

I can't even get a half of a tank out of analog before I get gunk on the coil, I'm using a kayfun and I can't get the sweet spot for coil height to help with the gunk.

Think the coil should be higher or lower??

Sorry, I don't believe the coil height changes Patriot's effect on coils.

The only way not to get gunk on the coil with the Heavy Hitters is to leave the coil out of there.. problem solved. Anything else, is just tinkering!

How strange.

I'm currently been through 6 to 6.5ml of Patriot on my R91. Thing still vapes like a boss, so i don't imagine any substantial gunking. I'm actually very surprised by how un-gunky it's been for me.

On a side note, I find it IMPOSSIBLE to remove the remnant smell of Patriot from any of my tanks now. I've tried boiling water soak, 91% isoprop soak over night. Still smells like patriot

Would you please, please take a picture of the inside of the chimney and the coil for us? Please?! I'd love to see how it looks after 6 - 6.5ml have gone through it.

I've posted this before, but this was in my twisted coil stage, and after slightly less than one tank of one of my heavy hitters.

My HHV order (Legend, Heavenly Army, and Huntsman) had a distinctive aroma to it when it first arrived. I think they sent me a fresh batch. The smell was powerful and everlasting once it tickled the nose, or got on your fingers. All three were tested that night. Heavenly Army had a strong cinnamon taste, but was very good. Legend had a strong cherry taste. Can’t recall what Huntsman tasted like; but however, it was good.

I realized they all needed some alone time, and set them all on my shelf with the lids loose for about 2 weeks. I shook them vigorously once a day while keeping the lids barely on them.

Heavenly Army has now turned into an awesome tobacco flavor. Whatever cinnamon taste was there before has completely mellowed out. I don’t get it now. All there is now, is a very good tobacco note that dominates. This has turned into an outstanding flavor. I love it.

Legend still has a cherry note, but a mellow cherry note I might add. It’s not a strong perfumy, fake cough syrup taste like some juices has. It’s a delicious Cherry (probably Cherry Cavendish like Jerms said) flavor that has blended really well with other components of the juice. A strong tobacco taste comes through with the cherry highlighting on exhale. I always think I’m holding a premium blended cherry cigar. The vapor is very thick, and the aroma wonders throughout the room very reminiscent of a billiards pool room. It’s very good, and will definitely want a second bottle when this one vanishes.

Huntsman is still steeping. I may give it another try next week.

I think of all the HHV juices I've tried, Army has the most to gain while steeping (Huntsman is the other one I think is a must steep from HHV). I did not like it when I first tried it after a few days, but then after a month I found it bold and well-blended. It's not a favorite of mine but it's a quality juice, something I think people overlook in juice appreciation. Dragon's Fire is by far my favorite HHV NET, and I think that one can be vaped after 24 hours. However, it does well sitting on the shelf and like many other complex juices, rounds into its full potential after four to six weeks.

Oompa is one I like that some others don't, but this is a smooth and flavorful vape that has just enough desert elements to make me enjoy it thoroughly. I DO NOT LIKE dessert vapes, but I like sweeter tobaccos like RY4s and Dragon's Fire. Oompa is a nice evening vape, mellow with a great aftertaste. Now Serendipity? No, I never got that one to work and gave it away after a month. To me the flavors never did meld and as they stood alone, it just wasn't a match for me.

I think I'm going to order 100+ mls of Dragon's Fire next time because I want it to steep so it can self-actualize, but also take some tanks off the top because you can do that with this juice.

Curious to see what a gunked-coil looks like from a regular, maybe sweet, liquid looks like. That coil is no bueno.

Ok now I'm starting to wonder if that nice rich aroma was actually just burnt vaporized gunk....................

:unsure::unsure::unsure:

EDIT: HOLY CRAP. i was staring at your picture for a few mins and it just sudden hit me right in the face that THAT is a bloody clever way of mounting the deck for coiling

If you're using cotton wicks in your Kayfun it takes ~2minutes to remove, dry burn and replace it, I was able to run a full tank of Rous Natural Tobacco & Hazelnut on my Kayfun Lite + clone, but that's a bit easier on coils than some of my other NET juices.

I'm on my second tankful now of GeJ Analog in my Rocket. This one took nearly half a tank to break in, while my HHV ones were good from the start; it might have been too much wick in the chimney. But after the half tank was topped off, it was steller (and still is). I'm hoping the Kayfun style devices last a bit long than clearos :)

HA comes off almost cigarish (black & mild type) with a long steep, but I love it fresh. I went back to 50/50 from my 100% VG experiment, because the flavor was a bit too strong with the 100% VG (Purity line is extracted that way), and once again, it was a bit more tobacco and less sweet, creamy notes.

Oompa is a special elquid and I am happy that now that I utilize drippers and Kayfun-style devices, I don't have to wait 3 months to taste the cacao, like I did with my first sample bottle.

It's so nice to see you in this thread, Lombaoski! You should give the HA a try next time with higher VG and see if it's more to your liking.

I get close to two tanks of GeJ Vita Bella out of a KFL wick before I have to redo.
N.E.T's I can get one tank so 4ml maybe? And that is really pushing it.
Haven't tried A+ aro's in one yet.
HHV go 3 to 4 tank fulls.
VCV almost 2 tanks.

Gunky nets pretty much live in a genny or dripping. Bummer cuz I really like some of them and the are relegated to home use only.
