All I have are mini Nautiluses. Six of them. NETs perform very well in them but, you're not gonna get the acclaimed life span of two to three weeks with them. I may get 5 days. By comparison, I have the redesigned BDC/BVC coils in my Billet Box running clear menthol. I think it finally gave up the ghost this afternoon right at two months of use. The wick is still white.

And I've used Patriot in the minis. Excellent in all respects except for the shortened life.

Thanks for the info. Do you know of any tobacco flavors (NET or not) that are good for the life cycle and taste decent?

The "decent" part is going to be subjective with everyone having their own ( often differing ) opinions... NET's as a general rule will always clog a coil quicker than a synthetic. I don't know of a synthetic that tastes like tobacco as a NET does but that doesn't mean they are something you won't like.

I haven't used the Mini-Nautilus w/BVC's... I have used their K1 which use different BVC's and I don't find it to have better flavor than my MiniProtank with coils I rebuilt and have added an air flow controller ( AFC ) too.. The AFC's on various devices make a lot of difference in flavor impact and the K1 doesn't have one so it was sort of an unfair comparison. Now... comparing the factory mini-PT coils to my own rebuilt ones also brings a significant increase in flavor. I also noticed that the rebuilt coils I made for my mini-PT let the higher notes of the flavor come through a lot more... I've also noticed that the Kanger Aerotank dual coils, while better than the K1 BVC coils... also not have as many of those same high notes as my own coils I rebuilt on the MiniPT.

Being new to NETs myself I'll defer to others with more experience to do the recommends. As a general rule the lighter the liquid the longer life of the coil at least in my experience. I've resigned myself to the fact that, even with cleaning and burning the used coils and then re-using, putting in new coils often is my price to pay for the wonderful experience.

I get ~6-8mls of vape time from BVCs in my Mini & full size Nautilus Tanks, a more accurate measure than time, since we don't vape an equal amount of juice over a time period.

I dry burn the coils, ~4-5 second bursts , until there is no vapor coming off the coil, coil resistance is ~1.8ohms. Using longer bursts of 8-10 seconds, my coil resistance was 1.6 ohms, the wicks held up fine and the flavor was as good as using a new BVC.

I have vaped a few different different juices from all ( except for House of Liquid ) the so called A tier vendors on the first post of this thread. In my experience HHV has the cleanest juices overall, followed by MVJ.

I spent yesterday with Captain Black Cherry. After a month of steeping I must say that I prefer the Drew Estate. The tobacco blend in the Drew Estate seems more complex and the cherry a little more natural. However, of you are a Cavendish fan the CB Cherry may be a better choice. The Cavendish is definitely more up front and seems to play 50/50 with the cherry.

I received my order from W2V. Before I put them away for a steep I tried a few. All very good and full on flavor, but I have to say, the coffee infused cigar was a real surprise. I ordered it just so I could reach the $85 mark for free shipping. It might be my favorite.

I ordered Louisville and London blends. I should try the coffee infused cigars both W2V and I think it was NETs that was recommended. I went through a bottle of Mountain Oak Vapors Sunday Morning and enjoyed it.

The W2V Coffee Infused Cigar is an extract of Drew Estate's Tabak Especial. Solid cigar and vape.

I've decided to postpone my full review for Caven Fever. It's just not inspiring me much yet and I want to give it a chance to win me over if possible. While I've found other black cav vapes to be almost unpleasant that's not the case here, but it doesn't really do much for me either. I love the use of black cav in RBFS's Count Caramel and Admiral's Pipe, which have wonderful flavors complimenting it, but by itself I'm finding it dull and one dimensional. For now I'd give it a 3 for being a well-done NET that would appeal to fans of black cav, but just not for me personally. That may change during future sessions, I have 20ml left to find out.

In other news, built my new Quasar with my normal build; single 1ohm micro of 28ga Kanthal, spaced wraps as I'm doing lately, and got 30 drops of Boba's Bounty loaded up. Love this thing! Highly recommended to fans of the standard 3 post design with side airflow. Holds lots of juice, easy build, no leaking from areas it shouldn't, great flavor, and looks very sharp. Also has the easiest to adjust airflow control I've experienced.

I've really been digging the Lancia for the past few weeks. I like it so much I got a second from 101vapes. The flavors are the best I've had with a atty so far and it's super easy to build. I've tried cigar NETs like Gurkha Class Regent and the flavors are so saturated and buttery it's absolutely blown me away. Even aromatics like H&H Burley Kake are great, the flavors really pop.

I build a dual micro coil at around 0.5 ohms and use the second largest air holes which gives me a dense and restrictive vape. At 22 watts on my Sigelei 100w it's fantastic. I'd say the flavors are a tad better than the Magma and with the added advantage that it doesn't leak if you decide to lean back in your chair and vape....

The only draw back is that the glass tank on this thing is extremely brittle. I've broken both of my tanks on my first installs. Luckily they come with the steel tanks as well so I just use those. The o-rings aren't the greatest either, but with a tad bit of juice to lube them they're not bad.

All in all I'd seriously recommend this atty to my fellow NETizans.

I've been eyeballing the Lancia, will pick one up. Also considering the Omerto clone from 101, but haven't heard much about it yet.

Got some HH357's and 510 1.5ohm atty's lined-up to try some NET's and I was very surprised by McClelland's #110 Just Plain Nut. It combines mellow Burleys and sweet Virginias along with a subtly-sweet nut essence. This is a very nice mellow aromatic and the taste is superb. Up front Burley with a slightly sweet Virginia taste. I think this one may go into the rotation. Excellent at 20% 50/50 6 mg. Have to see how it does in the Magma and Kayfun.

It's incredibly good. I'm going to have to order a bigger bottle of it.

I know I'm still a newbie in the NET area, but compared to a lot of other vendors I have tried I am really impressed with W2V's liquids.

Next month my Paul Stulac Lord of Albany will be done. I'll let you know if you missed anything. My method is to heat 100% PG to 150F add the cigar leaves and then macerate at room temp for 6-8 weeks. I re-heat and stir once a week. So the LoA and Ashton 2X Maduro #20 will be done together.

My Sons of Anarchy by Black Crown and Paul Stulac Lord of Albany both got over heated in the maceration process. Well, that is nearly $20 (with shipping) gone.
