The other one I ordered as I was looking for something in a blueberry/tobacco as that was the synthetic that got me off of smokes for good; Blue Ridge from MOV. However, the flavor has changed and have not found anything that satisfies that itch for me, until now. Red, White, and Blueberry is exactly how I remember BR a year ago with more of a tobacco kick to it. Very happy Clay brought this one to market because, my first year off cigs is almost here and wanted to celebrate with a nostalgic flavor.

Gonna probably break into Bright Burley and Classic Virginia from EV tonight. After reading the review by Jerms on English, kinda in the mood for a nice Virginia. I tell ya, it's like Christmas in December here!!

Funny you mention the new NETCom lineup! :D (Brob has currently caught up to page can't remember)

I ordered:

Pure Virginia (a bunch of Virginia going on here. Need to let this one set to let the flavors intermingle, can pick out flue-cured and something bordering on the edge of Gold, but a bit more 'earthy');

Shunji's Delight (actually quite good; balanced tobacco blend I could easily vape constantly- if you have almond/nut allergies, you may wanna avoid this one and just go for the III Castles. [don't know if Clay uses an almond-based amaretto or a 'disarrono-esque' type, which would be almond-free according to all information I can find on disarrono]);

the Custom Smoked Leaf (Good, but I haven't really been able to 'profile' it yet);

ACBB (quite good, different side of the coin to the fire-cured; mixing the two might provide an interesting flavor voyage?);

Poilu (which, oddly enough, seemed to be a shade darker than it previously was. Still vapes great, but now my mind is trying to figure out which 'seasoning type'-through both curing and smoking differences-each Latakia possesses. Amazing how Poilu can be so much like Bombay or Balkan, but not, simultaneously. If you vape enough Latakia, you'll know what I mean...oh, right, this was a 60ml bottle);

Izmir/Oriental
(Need more time w/ this one; initial impressions are that it are not as 'sweet' as the Sun-Cured and with much more earthy 'depth' to it, if that's a good thing to call it);

[sample] Burley Blast- I like this one. Consistent from first puff to finish, if you are reminded of tin tobacco of yesteryear, I would not be at all surprised. If you dislike Burley's bite, obviously this is not the one for you. This liquid is one I should keep around; mainly to blends lacking Burley that need it, but I think that for my purposes, an extract would be of more use.

[sample] Grilled Pineapple- from the description, this one sounds like something I'd like. I like pineapple and smoky tobaccos, so bring it on! :p

Red, White, and Blueberry; (....ok....well, I admit, I was in a bit of a rush to order and might have gleaned over the description a bit too quickly.) When I cracked this one open, I was expecting something like...well, BJ's Blackberry Burley or (since I had time to try it beforehand) the Air- Cursed Cured Blackberry Burley. I took a puff, tasted blueberry. I took another puff, tasted blueberry. Well, I'm sitting here starting to think my taste buds are not quite calibrated correctly and can somehow only taste blueberry and not these two new tobaccos that I haven't tried- heck, Shunji's Delight was good and listed as "low-impact", but I enjoy it due to the complexity and simultaneous balance.

I go back to the RW&BB it again, I taste straight-up blueberry. I'm starting to get concerned, and then I go over to the website and double check the description-since Shunji's Delight is listed as 'low-impact', I went straight for something that had the new tobaccos and a blueberry. I've had the cap off for the last few days (I know, I know. I can't help it, though; If I vape a tank of that... it's like being punched in the face with a blueberry-loaded boxing glove and stays with me longer than I'd like) to attempt to dissipate some of the blueberry.

I'd go buy a rock tumbler just to see how it sails along in steep, but that's too much effort for a single bottle. I may try another drip of the RW&BB, but it's going to be a little while... that's all I have to say about that for now.

I won't say to avoid this juice by any means; if you love blueberry, it'll click with you, but I love tobacco flavors so the blueberry was somewhat of a, "That'd be a nice finish on the exhale, wouldn't it"? impulse-buy.

Actually...you know what?

I've got some Tart & Sour that might fix my issues...

No, I'm not going to be laughing like a mad scientist as I carefully add drops of mysterious flavoring into the liquid;

I don't have my lab coat anymore. :unsure:

I'll get back with you folks; if I don't, you know I'll be around somewhere, Inter-NETizens. :toast:

Thanks for the heads-up, Miracles.

I don't buy retail NETs very often anymore, since I have a large stash of homemade natural tobacco macerated extracts---50 of my own and another 50-or-so from my home-extractor compatriots---but what the heck, it's the Christmas holidays, and that's a great sale.

I ordered six bottles---RY4, RY4 Extra, Branded, Duke, Cuban Perfecto, and Smuggler's Fire.

After they've arrived and had a bit of steep time, I'll review them all on the thread. As far as I can recall (aided by a quick thread search), Frankenmeizer is the only thread NETizen who has reviewed any of the Smug natural tobacco juices. His opinion was that Hump is good, Branded OK, but that all the rest he tried were meh, and that SmugJuice's NET offerings generally fall into the not-ready-for-prime-time category. In short, Smug doesn't merit A-List status. Between his reviews and mine, we should probably have enough info to move Smug into one of the Tiers.

Given Frankenmeizer's acumen, my hunch is that I'll be taking one for the team with my purchase of Smug NETs, but that's OK.

I welcome other NET'er reviews of Smug Juice. Taste is subjective. I enjoyed Hump. I wonder if it's just me on the rest, minus the RY's (not a fan of RY's in general).

(raises hand and waves from south Texas....)

I've been an absolute slug for the past week or so trying juices and getting to know my new Marquis RDA.

Short Takes on Juices:

Ether Vapes
Bright Burley - I was wary because I liked Pure Burley so much. The new version is quite good. Seems a little more refined and elegant. Ordered larger bottle.
Classic Virginia - Very sweet to me. Was hoping for a little more acrid bite but, maybe my expectations were wrong. Ordered larger bottle.
Lemon Heaven (non-NET but, really good)

NET
Finished off my first bottle of Va/Per. This is a very good blend. Well balanced. Ordered a larger bottle.

MVJ
Drew Estates Meat Pie - Liking this very much. Needs more steep to give thoughts
Ashton's Artisan's Blend - Also liking this but, it doesn't stand out as a singular juice

RBFS
Admiral's Pipe - I believe it was Jerms who reviewed this. It's a good juice but again, not singular and probably won't be a reorder.

Hardware
The Marquis RDA - This is a wonder! Took three tries to build dual vertical coils and was never successful. Next morning I did a single vertical in a minute. Add another minute to admire my accomplishment. 26 gauge Kanthal, 3.5 mm rod, .9 ohms and I'm preferring KGD over rayon in this one. A little more flavor than the Magma and using the stock drip top mouthpiece there is a ton of vapor production. I'm in this mainly for the flavor but cloudage is kinda fun. A dual coil setup would be a snap for those more experienced but it a single coil was easy and quick for me. More practice needed. Beautifully machined and shiny! Dig the simplicity of the appearance.

Happy 2015 to all!

Happy New Year, Netizens!!

I've been slowly making my way through the large stash of juice that I had accumulated over the course of the last 6 months.

Still reading, and catching up in here.

Hope everyone had a blast last night and will continue to do so this year.

Almost all of the macerated tobaccos I made, with the cold method, have been sampled by me.
I must say there was not one I disliked and that was, to say the least, a pleasant surprise. A few will either need more tobacco added next time I extract or use less liquid.......live, learn vape. Some turned out excellent, see below.

H&H Beverwyck- excellent
H&H El Nino- very good
Blending Perique- good, used to much liquid
Cornell & Diehl- Engine #99 excellent, best of the bunch
MacBaren Danish- very good
one left I have not tried yet and I'll post when I do. Thanks to all my friends that helped me along to do this on my own. :thumb:

Happy New Year all!!! I started my 2015 out with AiV all natural Fifteen Foot Falls watching the Rose Parade. I gave this flavor up in the summer and now that the weather has turned cold, I purchased a bottle to see if I still like it. I am vaping this at 6 mg in my Nautilus Mini. This is a complex flavor with marshmallow fluff, graham crackers and a touch of coconut with low NET impact. For me the hint of tobacco is very subtle — someone new to NETs may feel differently. FFF for me has low or no TH which I like since I vape for flavor. I am not one for sweet vapes so I do let my FFF steep for approximately four weeks for a 30 ml bottle to allow the flavors to meld. Some may say FFF sounds like s’mores. This is not the case for me and there is no chocolate in this blend. Anyone looking for a unique complex blend without the heavy tobacco impact may like this. And yes, I do still like it. It is very tasty IMO.

Happy New Year Netters...

I've got eight pipe tobaccos ( aros and non) and four cigars ( all DE acids) waiting to be extracted...ordered some PG from Amazon with free shipping and I think they're sending it on the back of a turtle....my first go at this....going big.

Curious to know your cold maceration method.
I've been PMing with johnni and he gave me his updated one ( have a few of his extracts which are excellent) which I plan on using.

Also anyone else notice that when we make extractions we are at that time actually steeping the juice and that when we are "steeping" juice we are actually aging juice...just my ADD for definitions shining through...:)

I don't know, when we make extractions aren't we extracting or macerating? And I think I'll stick with steeping the juice as to not confuse the issue. This all is subject to change depending on how many drinks I have. :ohmy:

I have to stay away from PG as I'm allergic to it so I use a combination of grain alcohol and VG when extracting my ejuice. I would like to use all PG when doing my macerations as the filtering goes quicker, but.....
anyway I let my liquid/tobacco "age" in half pint jars for five weeks, in a dark place at room temp.
I then filtered it, but not as fine as some folks here do, but more than I think Want2Vape does.
Since I used alcohol I let the liquid "breath" for almost two days. I have mixed some up, as stated already, and find them vapable already and look forward to seeing how they change in taste as they steep.
good luck with your endeavor! :vapor:

where have all the followers of this thread gone? :?:

I fell off the wagon head first. In the last two weeks I've smoked three cigars and constructed a make-shift humidor out of an old Rocky Patel cigar box that is made of hard wood and lined with cedar.

I'm still vaping, but I find that smoking and vaping on the same day tends to leave me overdosed on nicotine. It usually takes me 24 hours to be able to vape again.

I recently ordered some of the "old formula" Smooth Criminal from Ahlusion, now renamed "Godfather," and have been happily vaping it for about a week now. Golly, I do love fresh Smooth Criminal! (Yes, I know it's a synthetic, but it's a juice that is much-loved on this thread...)

Glad to see you're not giving up on vaping. I say that as your reviews have been an education to the finer points of cigars for me and help me to know what flavor profiles to look for in certain types of leafs, wrappers, filler tobaccos, ect... Don't know about anyone else but, as someone who has recently became a fan of cigar nets, that information is priceless.

As for falling off the wagon, don't beat yourself up over it. It's not about the couple that you smoked, it's more about the hundreds you didn't cause you were vaping them instead. Guess what I'm trying to say is don't give up Mike, the wagon has more than enough room for ya.

A question to the Net experts, I would like to smooth or even add a touch of sweetness to some of my extractions that I found too dry or harsh.

What are the best additives that you've tried with success ? Was thinking at Ethyl Maltol, Stevia, Cotton Candy, Marshmallow or even pastry/cake

in a pinch, I'll even add a couple drops of VG.....it tames and, at least to me, slightly sweetens the mix
