Now wait.... with travel and work I don't know if I could. Time is of the essence. I may be home for a week or two in July, we shall see.... Me and my big mouth..:facepalm::confused::oops::-x
If you do decide to MC, feel free to change up the format and categories. I had done it quite different than the original host (Scarfy).

Hey guys,

There is a new NET vendor out there called Black Note E-Juices. Has anyone heard of them?

This is their official site:

Black Note NET E-liquid - Naturally Extracted Tobacco Vapor Liquid

Here is an article on this new company which has launched its e-juice line which apparently is the world's first lab certified NETs.

Was it you and me that discussed this vendor a few weeks ago? Damn memory is not what it used to be. :p

I still wouldn't pay $30 for 30ml not including international shipping of $20.

Glad your enjoying them. Anytime, just ask, my friend.

I am over supplied at the moment Boomer or believe me, I most definitely would. They are some wonderful extracts among them and even after 12-15 months they are still quite nice.

She done good.. I can't seem to stop ordering from her. I placed another order yesterday:

These in 37ml:
MVJ w/Owl Shop Rumcake Pipe tobacco
MVJ w/Dunhill My Mixture 965 Pipe Tobacco
MVJ w/Capt Blk Cherry Pipe Tobacco
MVJ w/Hearth & Home Marquee Magnum Opus Pipe Tobacco
MVJ w/Dunhill The Aperitif Pipe Tobacco
MVJ w/Owl Shop Cherry Blossom Pipe Tobacco

along with samples of the entire Peter Stokkebye line up.

I still haven't touched the 8 bottles that I got in Jan. I'm just finishing the last of my order from last May. Dunhill Early Morning at 11 months is AMAZING!

I have barely touched the order I got back in Oct/Nov when her extraction process improved and have Vaped maybe 30% of the order I got back in about July with the low font flavor cigar extractions.

I would be a fool with my money if I were to order again until I vape a significant portion of what I have. Diane is certainly a go to vendor for NETs.

The array of extracts she has is bewildering. It would be great if she had 3ml or 5ml sampler sets of whole lines of extract. Or perhaps a complete box set of 4-5 ml samplers of all her extracts in a lovely wooden designer box with a velvety interior for say, $300. I can just imagine it. It would include a glossy booklet that describes all the juices origins and tobacco profiles.

Would that not be the greatest birthday, Father's Day or Christmas present ever!?

So...I'm in awe of this thread, and equally intimidated by it. I recognize that what you all have formed here is a community of sorts, and one which is extremely knowledgeable and emersed in the art form that is natural tobaccos.

I visited the thread on occasion and find everybody to be very helpful. Last time I was looking for the best tobacco forward juice with a hint of coffee, and also just some alternatives to what I am STILL vaping almost exclusively; the house of liquid el toro line. Some of the suggestions are on their way to me.

HOL is great and all, but I am most definitely ready to move on. So couple things out of curiosity, what's a good accessible "starter" company for all this. I love the taste of tobacco, the cigarillo and cigar variety with the slightest hint of sweetness. What's the safest bet?

Also, has the OP ever considered hosting a natural tobacco poll or award of some sort. The ECF awards are great but I found the 'best tobacco' this year to be far from a tobacco at all. Least to my taste buds.

Sorry for the long windedness, just don't know where to start.

Hi there and welcome. Nice post.

You are not wrong about the winner of the NETTY awards.

I remember being shocked that Smooth Criminal by ahlusion won the overall best tobacco in the NETTY awards. I was lucky to have been bestowed a bottle shortly beforehand and it didn't taste like tobacco at all to me. It tastes like a vanilla snowball. It's a wonderful vape but it's not a tobacco flavour or at least not a natural tobacco extract flavour, to be more precise.

With time and hindsight we all now know why it didn't taste like tobacco.

Nah. That was Tin Cigar Ecigs. They still haven't responded to my Facebook message about whether they deliver internationally.

Thanks! And to everybody else who replied too.

And in reply to what you said, I KNOW!! I mean, I haven't tried that specific juice, but...I'm not crazy right? I'm starting to believe that people like the idea of being the tobacco connoisseur and the romance of it all, but in reality most have no clue what quality tobacco tastes like. Maybe they haven't really payed attention to the flavor of tobacco and just smoked crappy cigarettes solely because they were hooked, or hell, maybe they haven't tasted tobacco at all. All I know is that every poll, and all the most popular "tobacco" e juices tend to taste like a vanilla drenched dessert far more than anything even slightly resembling tobacco.

Whats the deal with that? I figure its a classic case of one-size-fits-all mediocrity.

There are a few dynamics that sculpture the palates of NET Vapers IMO. Some, not all, have either never tried or never been a regular pipe or cigar smoker. They tend to be a more select group of Vapers who just happen to love the flavor of tobacco and all the nuances that come from different tobacco varietals, casing flavours and infusions. They are, therefore, first and foremost someone who Vapes and secondly, reformed smokers. Their decisions are therefore more based on what they enjoy vaping rather than what resembles their previous smoking experience.

Once someone has been vaping for a while, they have tried a wide variety of flavors, both Net and non NET and preferences for flavor profiles won't strictly fall within the NET flavors.

Another factor may be that the NET designation doesn't only apply to extractions that simulate the smoking equivalent of a tobacco. A NET can also be in the form of a sweet flavour like Heathers Heavenly Vapes and Nicoticket or many RY4 NETs. For a juice to fall within the designation it only needs to have a NET base. It may well be a hybrid liquid with a NET base that has artificial flavoring included.

While the accurate representation or likeness to a tobacco is an important variable in a NETs appeal, it is not the only factor or even the most important factor. This is particularly true for longer term Vapers who no longer miss their favorite smoke or desire a juice that simulates a smoking flavor.

Smooth Criminal at the time was considered such a liquid. At the time it was believed it had a NET base and was infused with flavorings. Being such an enjoyable vape with a wide appeal made it very popular. I think you are quite right with your expression 'one flavor fits all'.

So ultimately, a NET juice that is highly popular is not necessarily the one that tastes as close as possible to a tobacco in smoked form, but a juice that, quite simply, tastes great and falls within the generally accepted definition of a NET.

For the record, smooth criminal by Ahlusion nowadays is called The Godfather.

IMHO, the bigger key and general deciding factor specially on Internet forums is also Vendor popularity and fan-base. This sometimes can skew the results heavily in favour of a particular vendor, regardless of whether their product is what one would consider to be traditional or authentic.
