How long do you recommend?
I found 3 months for cigars and 3-4 weeks for pipe/cigarette blends is my sweet spot. However, that is what works for me, YMMV. There were a few cigars I liked fresh; 7th cut, starry night, and C-sharp were fantastic out of the mail (they did get better with age but were not bad fresh). The Ruins had some flavor fresh but started to develop more flavor at about a month, and got better as it aged (my bottle is 9 months old right now and is fantastic). Test them every week to see where they taste good to you and vape away.

I think you're going to like them even better once you get your rda's. I know, everyone is different but for me, when I went from tanks to drippers, vaping NET's became more enjoyable. The flavor was better and the dryburn/rewick process is quick and easy. I now use one of these coiling jigs which makes coiling easy.

I've meant to say this for a while, but it really depends on what tank we're talking about. I use exclusively Squape R and R(s), and wicking, dry burning, etc. is all a breeze.

3 months blimey...ok the ruins and raven back in the drawer. I make you right as the gypsy Brune is tasting more 'ready' than the ruins right now...

Got a coiling jig but not worked out how to wrap around it yet...going to have a go with a screw later...

Gypsy Brune is tasting mighty fine in the kayfun lite plus right now. Very much like it says on the tin.

I'm just popping open pipe juices from August. Cigars do take their own sweet time.

The net llc stock is at the back of juice drawer steeping along with the HoL Puros.

So tonight I am vaping some HoL Guevara, it's steeped for approx. 9 months! Why, well they sent it as a sample in 24mg which I cannot vape ....waaaay too strong...

So having bought a bottle of pg recently, rather than let the Guevara go to waste I mixed it down to 12mg. Expected it too be a bit light at 50% flavour strength.

Well it's not bad at all. Fruity and smokey. Reminds me of the net llc juices. It is one I had been avoiding due to coil gunking, but as I now use an RTA thought give it a go....

Lol funny boy. You are from good volk Jonny. I bet you can make those little cuckoo clocks in the Black Forest with precision. Precision is a great German quality so I am sure your home made NETs will come out good.

Oh yes, you are right. I am the kukuck fron the schwarzwald and precision is my first name ! Our clocks are perfect.

My home made juices, ohoh. :( I am very afraid of finding out after steeping in a few weeks, that they are not tastefully enough. I am a follower of Str8 in his heated ethanol thread and he has written that he has tried over 250 tobaccos and only a dozen seems to be very good for extractions. I am afraid of getting the other 238 tobaccos, you know ?

Now i have perhaps 30 tobaccos in my jars. Moment, please, must count - hmmm ? :glug:- 1,3472 of my 30 juices could be good. I want 10 good tobaccos at the minimum. Moment, please ----- - 239,21435 tobaccos to try out. Anthony, please - Can you borrow me 2300,765 austri bugs ?

No good here Johnny. I spent a lot of time extracting a bunch of cigars (okay admittedly, airport duty free old cigars) and some pipes and I can't say anything turned out really good.

But that's okay, for the last 24 hours I've been vaping Space Jam - Kryptonite and Sleeping Dragon Vapor - Baby Dragon which are not NETs at all, and that is perfectly fine. Lol

Actually, I started to vape my 6 month old Excalibur from Net.com. It's good, but I don't know if it is great. It tastes more like a cigarette than a cigar, a smooth light cigarette. I like it but I am not sold on it yet. Cigars are a very imperfect art with NET maceration. Most end up tasting light and not at all like a cigar, but more like a cigarette. It's hard to get a cigar net that compares with Want2vape.

AnthonyB I couldn't agree with you more. I'm still waiting on the "cigar" taste and that's been after few months or more of steeping :tumble:

I am thinking too, that the cigar juices from net.com taste well but not very strong. A real cigar must be very strong or its not a cigar.

The confederate from ethervape is with the smooth nicotine and its fresh. :(

The best cigar juice in my taste was the patriot from GEJ after 2 or 3 months steeping. During the breathing out through the nose it is fantastic, strong and realistic. But i am missing a little bit more flavour in the mouth during the breathing in.

It would be very interesting to have an extract of patriot and and knowing with what kind of extracting method they are making this awesome juice and i wish i could know from what tobacco it is made. Patriot was my first awesome experience with nets. After i have vaped a few seconds i cant believe this realistic smoky taste. I was going up the floor again and again and have talked to myself "impossible". This was in august and since than i am hunting for more. It was a very cool experience for me.

I have bought 5 or 6 cigars for extracting. Tomorrow i will mix it to juices. Perhaps i will have more luck. A little bit blood of a crushed foggy could help to boost up the flavouring.

from what I have heard, true or not, cigars are very hard to replicate into e-juice..... I hope you have good luck. I have never tried to duplicate them for that reason.

I am thinking about this and how GEJ have made patriot. Why is it so difficult to make a real strong cigar net ? I am waiting for my cigar extracts now. In a few hours a i will make juices from their extracts. If they will not be strong i will try other extraction methods. There must be a way ! :thumb:

Hey gents, I realize that I'm on the edge of being a lurker here, but I am checking in and reading frequently. I haven't tried Str8's PGA extractions yet and I plan to at some point. He's been a great contributor and I've learned a bunch. I'm chiming in here because I'm a little confused by the lack of flavor that folks are suggesting. If you're inclined, search some of my posts which are not unlike many of the early extractors that came before me. I'm quite happy with a heat assisted PG/VG extraction for 5 days (130 degrees in a slow cooker). Let it sit for 2-3 weeks and filter twice, last being a 2 or 3 micron alstrohm (I use an Aeropress and heat it up for 1 minute in micro before filtering for ease.) I mix at 20% concentration and am at around 10% nicotine in a 50/50 PG/VG final mix. I find them good to go but they do get a little better over time.

I was a pretty heavy cigar smoker and I find plenty of flavor and nuance with this method. I smoked anywhere from 3 to 6 a day of pretty good maduros. Funny enough, I find that I prefer some other cigars to extract over what I smoked and you'll see some suggestions. I've found that the pipe tobaccos should be 3 days at a lower temp, but I'm back on the cigars that I enjoy.

Absolutely understand that we all have different tastes and preferences but my experience is that I can do an extraction that I prefer over what I used to purchase. It's not rocket science. I mostly vape on a SX M with an Erlkonigin tank with Ti. I rewick after every 6 ml tank. Works for me if you'd like to give it a try. Most of my cigar extractions are plenty powerful and some are too much. There's a legacy on this thread that helped me along the way and I hope we can keep sharing folks.

Vape on.

For you NET.com vapers. What is your preferred PG/VG ratio for these liquids? I went with 50/50, but I can be flexible with that. Im thinking maybe upping the PG will help with flavor and coil clogging.

Im revisiting the sample pack I got from NET.com back in September. To be honest I didnt really care for them that much at the time. The only one I finished at the time was Dreamcatcher. I wasnt using rebuildables exclusively with them which obviously was a mistake.

But now Ive got The Ruins and Red Eye going in a couple cyclones and I am liking them a lot better now than I did a couple months back. I may place another order, but any changes I could make to get the most out of these juices?

Listen, you tough guy... go puff on your egos a little and don't wake up the sleeping fogg monster. :D

On a different note, do you know if NET has any holiday sales normally? Ready to load up a little.

Just got off the phone with Clay from NET and he did mention he will have either some percent off or free bottle of something with orders starting on Monday but was not sure which yet.

I think ideally they are for dripping, though this is simply a calculated guess as I await delivery of my first two rda's, beyond that yes use an rta or other rebuildable.

Am vaping the fire cured burley tonight and enjoying it. Again surprised how subtle it is, but given the absence of any added sweetness / sweetners the level of flavour is an achievement, if that makes sense?

Blowing out through the nose gives a real smokey tobacco flavour.
