So what do find to be the best from NET as far a combination of flavor yet easiest on coils? I know flavor is subjective so really what are the best on coils youve tried?
Ive tried several from NET.com and have made a few reorders on some but the coil cloggyness is still a letdown.
I find over the long term that the best way to combat coil gunking is not to look for the juices that minimize gunk but to have a good coil management routine or program.
I decided long ago that coil gunking was something that I was prepared to put up with in order to vape good robust and flavorful NETs. After all, my favorite NETs tended to gunks pretty fast. W2V was always one of my favorite NET vendors and their juices are notorious for gunking.
So in order to manage this I would ensure I Vaped in devices or setups that allowed quick renewal of coils. Given the wide range of vaping setups this could mean something different to each type of setups.
For a long time I used evods (still do when I am at work) so I learnt to rebuild the single coil evods which take all of about 2 minutes after you get used to it. I also was prepared to throw coils away anyway. I considered the $4 of $5 of coil expenditure a week worth it to vape NETs but admittedly that was the lazy way.
If you are using rebuildable dripping atomizers then things get significantly easier because you are already in the habit of building your own coils anyway. Remove the cotton, dry burn and then rewick. Making spaced coils in larger diameters (3mm) also improved the length of time before renewal was necessary.
I also made use of outgoing technologies where the products would be heavily discounted. When ceramic coils in tanks did not become popular about 2 years ago I picked up 40 of them for $20. They vaped well and when one gunked up I would just throw it away and use a new one.
My vaping devices and setups have evolved from my preference to NET vaping. NET vaping is optimal at lower wattages and less heat which is why I guess NET vapers don't tend to jump on every incremental increase in technology and power when it first comes out. Heck, some
of us still use Evods, Aspire BDCs and K1s and original kayfuns to vape NETs. I think NET vapers tend to hold onto older technologies longer than vapers who like sweet, fruity and dessert flavors.
That brings me to another point - higher wattage and greater heat increases the rate of gunking. I think NET vaping is not suitable at the higher wattages for this reason.
I guess we just adapt and manage our expectations about the repercussions of NET vaping but at the end of the day I would never stop vaping NETs for the minor inconvenience of gunking.
