You know, I keep hearing about House of Liquid, and a while ago I did a quick search, but it yielded no good results for buying their product in the States. Maybe I'll search again.

You could always e-mail HoL, they reply pretty much instantly, might be worth asking for their rate for shipping to the states.

Forgot to mention my 'bad' experiences also lasted 2-3 days. Felt anxious, headache, hyped up, bad stomach etc really unpleasant. Definitely over nic'ed. Aptly I actually felt something 'dirty' was running through my veins.

Not going to name them but one very, very large juice supplier was involved all three times.

Now and then, when I've been really hitting it hard, I get just a tiny hint of these experiences, out the mod down 30 mins and all is fine.

You just hit the nail on the head as to why I do my own extractions and, for the most part, quit the retail sellers. I can pick the purest ingredients I can buy to make my own extractions and know exactly what's in them and how they are made.

Hi ya'll.
How many tobacco lovers still follow this thread? I'd like to try to help bring this tread back to life if I can. I have spend hrs reading on this thread and think its one of the most informative treads on tobacco. Especially when it comes to TA's NET's and TE's. I work in a vape shop and I have witnessed first hand all the fruity and savory flavors surpass our tobacco flavors. If ppl still follow this thread please like and comment so I can stir up some conversations on what ppls favorite tobacco blends are. Thank you all who have supported this thread and thank you especially Luceblueboy for keeping this thread going.

When first giving up the "nasties" I was helped a great deal, as was may others with finding tobacco flavors that helped me kick the habit. However, like other things in life many found a break was needed to keep the ole taste buds alive. This was rescued by flavors introduced by some of my "old timer friends" like anthony B's Rum Rebellion and Uncle BJ's Blackberry Burley. A special salute to them!!! :toast:

Do you still make your own TE's? I've dabbled in mixing some of my own NET"S. I used organic grown tobacco leaves and the flavors tend to be very potent. I just use less at about 8 to 12% in my juice for a very enjoyable taste. What is your preferred extract method?

Back to topic...

Been really getting into clays juices, my black note and HoL juices are taking a bit of a back seat.

Only downside as ever the coil gunking, but it's worth it.

Getting to grips with my rda's...freakshow and snapdragon clone. Surprised how many toots I get before top up and the lack of mess, just once in a while I overfill the freakshow mini.

Didn't order any juices with smoked latkia this time and miss it! Gypsy blondes definately on next order.

Mercenary still stands out, sadly only had a small sample, long gone.

VaPeOr is really nice. Full Zware another favourite.

Speaking Spirit touch mild, even with extra extract, that said in a dripper it's good enough for me. Weirdly I am finding it perhaps the quickest to require a dry burn and rewick.

The Ruins and 3 Crowns sit in the drawer, 6 weeks steep now, probably crack them open in a couple of weeks.
So what do find to be the best from NET as far a combination of flavor yet easiest on coils? I know flavor is subjective so really what are the best on coils youve tried?

Ive tried several from NET.com and have made a few reorders on some but the coil cloggyness is still a letdown.

I thought MyVapeJuice, LLC was in my opinion the kindest on coils that I've tried. Their juices are tasty, but I felt they were a little light on the flavor.
GoodeJuice is pretty clean as well. Mountain Oak Vapor was somewhere in the middle.
But with that said, I forgive the gunkiness of the heavy-hitters anyway... Want2Vape and NET.com aren't always the cleanest with coils but their robust flavors are worth it.
It's been said here many times by many NETizens that the gunk factor is a testament to the high flavor quality of a juice. ;)

I find them al similar'ish. Possibly the cigar ones are easiest and the latkia the harshest on the coils, but it's by a small margin.

Sometimes I think ah this one is significantly better or worse by some degree. But it could equally be down to wicking on that particular occasion.

So I've got another order in from net.com

Will try and get round to full list and comments on flavours Vaped so far.

One of the samples was for eclipse, a cigar with latkia blend, it's added to my List of favourites...

Got some pipe ones for the first time. Bombay was decent, though perhaps not a reorder for me. Balkan and black cavendish still to try.

Really enjoyed gypsy blonde last night.

As ever fantastic juices.

Have gone back to 3mm rather than 4mm coils. The 3mm taste and vape that much better. The 4mm also seemed to need more power.

Yeah I like the flavors. Blacknote and NET are my favorites. Goodiejuice wasnt bad, but compared to BN and NET they taste more like a tobacco flavored juice than a net to me.

Havent tried MyVapeJuice or Mountain Oak.

Ive tried several from NET.com and have made a few reorders on some but the coil cloggyness is still a letdown.

I find over the long term that the best way to combat coil gunking is not to look for the juices that minimize gunk but to have a good coil management routine or program.

I decided long ago that coil gunking was something that I was prepared to put up with in order to vape good robust and flavorful NETs. After all, my favorite NETs tended to gunks pretty fast. W2V was always one of my favorite NET vendors and their juices are notorious for gunking.

So in order to manage this I would ensure I Vaped in devices or setups that allowed quick renewal of coils. Given the wide range of vaping setups this could mean something different to each type of setups.

For a long time I used evods (still do when I am at work) so I learnt to rebuild the single coil evods which take all of about 2 minutes after you get used to it. I also was prepared to throw coils away anyway. I considered the $4 of $5 of coil expenditure a week worth it to vape NETs but admittedly that was the lazy way.

If you are using rebuildable dripping atomizers then things get significantly easier because you are already in the habit of building your own coils anyway. Remove the cotton, dry burn and then rewick. Making spaced coils in larger diameters (3mm) also improved the length of time before renewal was necessary.

I also made use of outgoing technologies where the products would be heavily discounted. When ceramic coils in tanks did not become popular about 2 years ago I picked up 40 of them for $20. They vaped well and when one gunked up I would just throw it away and use a new one.

My vaping devices and setups have evolved from my preference to NET vaping. NET vaping is optimal at lower wattages and less heat which is why I guess NET vapers don't tend to jump on every incremental increase in technology and power when it first comes out. Heck, some
of us still use Evods, Aspire BDCs and K1s and original kayfuns to vape NETs. I think NET vapers tend to hold onto older technologies longer than vapers who like sweet, fruity and dessert flavors.

That brings me to another point - higher wattage and greater heat increases the rate of gunking. I think NET vaping is not suitable at the higher wattages for this reason.

I guess we just adapt and manage our expectations about the repercussions of NET vaping but at the end of the day I would never stop vaping NETs for the minor inconvenience of gunking.

Man, you hit the nail right on the head!
I found the juices that I really enjoyed and adjusted my devices to accommodate them instead of matching juice to what I already had.
For me, a Reo/RM2 is still the finest NET vaping device for my style, hands down.
It takes a minute or two to pull a wick, dry-burn just enough to break up the gunk, a quick scrub with a flossing brush and thread in a new piece of rayon and I'm squonkin' away.
The gunk factor doesn't really bother me a bit.

@AnthonyB. Good post. Im following most of what you suggested.
Basically just using the Nautilus VVTF RBA head in the mini Nautilus/ Kabuki and also a By Ka clone in the rotation.
All builds at 2mm spaced coils at about 1 ohm. 4.1 V. Rayon, tails thinned out for optimized wicking.
Maybe I could go a little higher resistance and drop the voltage down a bit.
I do have some drippers that I use on occasion but I like the convenience of tanks and these tanks get me pretty good flavor.

NETs are all I use too and I wont be switching due to gunking either.

I'll agree with MVJ's kindness although I think NET.com is almost pulling even. The juices I've gotten from them in the last few months have been cleaner.

I find over the long term that the best way to combat coil gunking is not to look for the juices that minimize gunk but to have a good coil management routine or program.

When I "discovered" NETs I was using the Nautilus Mini and BVC coils which I was going through faster than I go through a plate of fried shrimp. This led me to learning how to rebuild and into the world of RDAs. I usually have two mods/attys going at the same time which leads to less frequent washing, dry burning and re-wicking. I do clean, burn and re-wick every day after work primarily because I change flavors. Having started to extract my own NETs this daily routine has become more prevelent because my filtering is no where near as good as NET.com or MVJ.

If you are using rebuildable dripping atomizers then things get significantly easier because you are already in the habit of building your own coils anyway. Remove the cotton, dry burn and then rewick. Making spaced coils in larger diameters (3mm) also improved the length of time before renewal was necessary.

NET vaping is optimal at lower wattages and less heat

I'm coming back to this line of thought. Again, experimenting with my own extractions vs store-bought I'm finding that my extractions are better at higher resistance (.7/.8 ohm resistance) while ready made like lower (.2 to .4 ohms). This might also be happening because I use a higher flavor percentage with my extracts. I'm slowly trying to finish off my store-bought juices and figuring out which of the home brews are keepers.

I'd suggest asking for a sample of on your next order: the Raven

This has risen to one of my favs from NET.com. Love the leather and chocolate flavor. Doesn't have the smokiness of Latakia but it is a dense and full flavor.

Thanks Tele. Tried a bottle of this already...was excellent...think (only think) I preferred the Ruins and Mercenary...for now at least!

Have a bottle of both Yesteyear and 7th Cut steeping...

The 3 Crown is also rather nice.

That's a good idea, I wasn't sure if it was acceptable, to ask for specific samples with the order...so far I have just been buying them in 10 or 15 ml size bottles.

Just vaping the Dark Cured 2, very nice, a little bolder and less sweet that the Fire Cured Burley.

Must post up my views on all Vaped so far, not least for me as I am losing track rapidly!

Oh and another heads up Gypsy Brunes is really good after a couple of weeks steep....

I find the net.com cigarette and single varieties need 2-3 weeks to start blossoming.

The cigars I have tended to steep for 6 weeks or so...so far...they seem really good after this amount of time...but maybe 3 months would be better...might have to stock up and let steep sometime.
