Stixx mixx sells NET extracts as well as coffee and tea extracts. I figured I’d try them out after I saw another vendor occasionally uses them. It was quite cheaper compared to other NET extract vendors.

Currently I manage a vape store and continue to be stuck a few years ago with my liquid vaping NETs and my own DIY Pluid

what is the base for their NET extracts...PG.VG, or PGA.

I could not find any info on the site. It seems to be PG as the extract is quite thin. The good news is the potency of the extract as they recommend 8-10%. I found 12% to be perfect with about a week of steep time.

Agree with @luceblueboy regarding Stixx Mixx.

Late last year I posted that I had purchased some SM extracts and wasn’t sure about the recommended percentages because they are lower than the recommend 20/25% up to 30% from other extract vendors. Depending on the extract, I find that using lower than the recommended percentages is plenty for my taste. I prefer ‘hybrids’ so have been mixing them with non-NET flavors.

There are many recipes available using his extracts so I don’t recreate the wheel and use those that sound good to me although I may make some very minor adjustments so suit my taste. If you are like me and have no intentions on extracting tobaccos and like to vape NETs and do DIY give Stixx Mixx a try. His prices are less than other extracts currently available for sale and I find his NETs to be good quality. https://www.stixxmixx.com

Ok.
I've had mixed results with NET. Bad plastic bottles, some mixtures without the flavor it should have had, and despite my telling them (without asking for anything back) no reply from NET. Sad.
But, that said their Carameld Pecan is great.
Got a bunch of small bottles from RTE in the fruit and liquor samplers. I think the Italian Plum is very nice. The Cowboy Coffee is great. The Cognac, while true to taste, is a bit sharp, as cognac can be. The Rum is smoother. The Apple is good so far. The banana I've just tried, and while very "real" flavored, I reserve judgement. Haven't tried the other liquor flavors in the sampler yet. But, all in all, they're very nice.

has anyone tried vaping with the Aspire 100w TC mod or the V-fin 160w Smok mod? they seem kind of interesting as they both have a Integrated rechargeable Battery, which peaks my interest. the Aspire a 5000mAh and the Smok a 8000mAh. The high temps not so much. I get good flavor between 20 to 50 watts, myself, and do not like a hot vape just to show off the biggest clouds.

I don't know if anyone else has extracted the tobacco called exclusive from C&D, but I'm not finding the strong flavor described bellow. I'll give it more time to soak.

"This is a special treat if you're a real Perique fan. Cornell & Diehl's Exclusive is made with 50% of the dark Louisiana tobacco, balanced by toasty red Virginia, and an especially tame Cavendish. The result is bold and spicy, while being remarkably cool. Definitely not for the faint of heart."

I never went back after the unpleasantness a couple of years ago. Once burnt is lesson enough for me.

hi, my first post in this thread

i've been mostly vaping unflavoured for years. But sometimes i drip a few drops of flavour into the RDA on my squonkers

i made NETs years ago, just straight up cold macerated in PG

about 3 weeks ago, decided to revisit

split a 20 gram pouch with a mate, who is doing similar

IMG_20180418_144612.jpg

i soaked 6 grams of tobacco in 23ml brandy for 3 days. Then put that on a double boiler to evaporate

IMG_20180430_003958.jpg

added 50ml pg, and leaving it a few months

i'm surprised how strong the brandy smell is though. Wondering if anyone has done similar for a very long steep, to comment on finished product? i just wanted a brandy note, but it smells strong. Maybe that profile just pools in the jar more than the tobacco smell? or the brandy and tobacco might eventually balance out? aiming for 3+ month steep

Glade you decided to finally post. Well done. I have tried "store bought" rum and other alcohol/tobacco vapes with little success and alcohol taste. I did somewhat the same technique you are trying and got a bit more of the rum flavor. I hope your brandy extraction works out better than my attempt. Remember, you can always let the extraction soak for a longer time. I does help to do that. :thumb:

Thanks. That is actually reassuring, since the brandy aroma is currently a bit overpowering. Hoping the tobacco shines more to vape when the time comes

When you are finished aging the extract I strongly suggest you leave the cap off the mixture to air it out and let the volatile vapors of the alcohol escape. Do this for ten minutes or so, close the lid, shake the container and open once more. If the smell of brandy is still to strong, follow the same procedure the following day. Good luck.

I will break the long silence too.

Any news in the world of commercial NETs? Any new vendors ? Any recommendations or experiences anyone would like to share?

Has anyone ordered NET.com in the last few weeks or months? How are the juices vaping these days?

Nothing new, mostly vaping RTE. Did place an order over the weekend to NET.com. A small order. I couldnt find anything other than Big Spirit available in cold maceration. I didnt check every single flavor, but I did check a lot of them. I did pull the trigger on a couple only available in Heat Extraction against my better judgment. Considered messaging Clay to see if cold maceration could be available on request. I still have several unfinished bottles of various NET.com juices that I just simply dont enjoy like I used to.

Yeah I noticed Clay only has one or two with cold mac and that concerns me.

I wouldn't ask Clay to do a cold Mac specifically for myself but I have considered asking him to discontinue heat Mac and produce all his flavours in cold Mac :)

Let us know how the juices ordered vape.
