I only get tobacco, maybe a bit of raisin and perhaps gingerbread, but never tasted perfume or alcohol. I figured if you like DF, you would of probably liked this. It's like that Apache juice that you like, I bought some and it was probably the most vile stuff I tried in a long time and tossed it. Taste is so hard to figure for sure....I think if you dont like it at all now, that you will never. I definitely have had some that got much much better, but I never really had a juice I hated initially, then really liked it after a steep. After the first taste I usually know if it's a keeper regardless of steep time

Maybe that explains why you like Sludge. It's a raisin/plum flavor.

I hope no one took my post as anything but a statement of my preferences. I like Scotch whiskey, others hate it - fine by me.

Certainly not for me, CMD. But as we've been saying lately, cologne for one person is nectar to another. I'm careful to speak only for myself. Amazing how the same juice can make one person do back flips while making another person want to vomit. But it's true! And I'm not about to criticize anyone who likes it. It seems there are still many out there who like it too. Per Diver's suggestion, I will let it sit a month or so and give it another go and see what happens. Aging does help with most juices. I could not vape Vita Bella until it was at least three months old. But even then it didn't go as far as this Boba's is gonna have to come.

I'm sure no one took offense to your comment. Everyone here has been around the block a few times as it pertains to juice.

I remember buying some Boba's in 2014 and was so excited as it was all the hype on here. I got that and gorilla juice. When I tried it was so disappointed as all I tasted was the raisin. Let it sit for a month and tried again and the raisin was more pronounced. Ended up throwing it in with a trade I made with someone on this thread. Just can't vape raisin (although there was a cigar from RBFS which I liked that had that note). Still have the gorilla juice on my shelf. Just a reminder to me to not fall for the hyped up stuff anymore.

Not sure I remember the history of Boba's exactly but seems to me there was a time around 2014 when there was another company who came out with a Boba's knockoff (no, not Bounty Hunter...someone else). They might of even called it the same name. Threw a lot of people off. Then, Boba's disappeared for awhile and the Boba fans went into a considerable depression (understandably). Then it came back with a new recipe that was supposed to mimic the original. I'm sure I have the details wrong and perhaps a Boba's enthusiast can straighten me out. But I remember it going somewhat this way.

Yes the other company was alien vapes, not alien visions. I think a lot were mixed up in which one was the real deal. Bounty hunter I also like, in fact kind of liked a few from nitelight vapors....but bounty hunter tasted nothing like BB. Line rider was one of my favs and still have some left

I remember the fake brand but mine was from Alien Visions. The green and white label. When I ordered my package got lost in the mail and they sent a replacement package for free. The original package came in two weeks later. Very good people to deal with, just the raisin flavor which threw me off. I added it to a trade with Jerms, at least he was able to enjoy it. looking at the unopened gorilla juice right now, wow is that a dark juice.

Has anyone heard from Jerms lately?

The group definitely picked up again didn’t it. This regal old Natural Tobacco Group is a survivor, through thick and thin, government legislation and changing tastes and preferences in vaping :)

Wow! Been quite awhile since I found 10 pages of unread posts. Things seem to be picking up indeed.

So I cracked open my bottle of Boba’s today and gave it a 12 puff test drive. Uh, makes me want to retch. Smells and tastes like cologne. I’ll give it another shot tomorrow but there will need to be some kind of major transformation by then because I might lose my lunch.

I don’t remember it tasting like this.

I am still waiting on mine to change, it has to be close to a year old now. When they originally brought it back I skeptically bought a 30ml. It was good, very close to how it use to be, but it was no where near as thick as I remember. My next order was 100ml and it was different than the first bottle with a slight off putting sour note. I can't vape it and it narrowly missed the cut to be thrown in the garbage during my last juice box cleaning.

I think I am holding onto it purely for memories at this point.

sounds like there is something going around in the vaping world....lack of quality control.

Kinda sad. For me, it is unvapable. Reminds me of smelling Amaretto these days after it was responsible for my first drunk. Just hearing the word turns my stomach. :)

Makes me wonder if it has changed. I know everyone likes different stuff but I admit I'm having a hard time wondering how anyone would like what is in my bottle. QC as mentioned? Maybe. But I wont give it another chance.

The QC mention made me think of Mountain Oak. There were 3 or 4 flavors that I liked so I always made sure to keep some around. But in one order, one of the flavors had a strange addition I couldn't put a finger on. Maybe mint, maybe menthol, but it was something that was a very sharp and unexpected taste in the background.

I emailed them and explained what I'd received. The reply was prompt, but said that their QC was very stringent and it was not possible for me to be tasting what I described. It ended with something on the order of "if you really want me to, I can look up the batch number but all our batches are good." I could sense the eyeroll as the rep typed that.

That was maybe a year and a half ago and it was my last order. I was curious more than anything, and would have refused an offer to replace the bottle. But they never offered and essentially told me that I was either crazy or trying to scam them. Life is too short for that.

This is exactly why I can't vape anything "Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill" flavored.

Vape juice memory lane isn't so great. Yesterday, I pulled out some Indigo Duke, which was among my mainstay juices when I first quit smoking. Still smells awesome when you open the bottle. But it's really bad. Has some really artificial woodsy flavor to it, along with probably AP and other artificial sweeteners. Now I'm going to have to thoroughly wash the tank.

I probably bought 3, 100ml bottles so far since BB came back . One is unopened and in the fridge and I have half I'm vaping now. So far all has been really good and consistent. It's hard to believe how awful yours is and it makes me want to send you a few mls just to see if their newer bottles are off or have changed somehow. Interested?

It definitely needs to steep.

Alien Visions liquids always needed a good two week steep so I guess nothing has changed there. Bobbas in particular always needed a good steep.

Even 8 years ago when I first tried Bobbas I remember it being practically unvapable when it first arrived and within 3 weeks it was my fifth best liquid ever [emoji3]

With the turnover Bobbas must have I imagine your bottle was mixed fresh.
