I've had it approaching a week now. I'll let it sit awhile. But it has a long, long way to go. I age all my juices and none of them had to go as far as this one will. I sampled Boba's 6 years ago and remember it being OK. Not my fave by a long shot but there was nothing offensive about it...better than average, actually. This iteration is highly offensive to me. It seriously turns my stomach and I have a cast iron gut. This is not the same flavor.

Well Bronze at least you can say you ticked it off your vape bucket list. I really need to try this new Bobba as well for old times sake.

If I may, one liquid that reminds me of Bobbas or my memory of it is Southbound by Stash e-liquids. In my memory of Bobba it is a dead ringer for it without an underlying TINO tobacco element to it.

Not sure I remember the history of Boba's exactly but seems to me there was a time around 2014 when there was another company who came out with a Boba's knockoff (no, not Bounty Hunter...someone else). They might of even called it the same name. Threw a lot of people off. Then, Boba's disappeared for awhile and the Boba fans went into a considerable depression (understandably). Then it came back with a new recipe that was supposed to mimic the original. I'm sure I have the details wrong and perhaps a Boba's enthusiast can straighten me out. But I remember it going somewhat this way.

I loved Bounty Hunter! It was better than Bobbas imo.

I am still waiting on mine to change, it has to be close to a year old now. When they originally brought it back I skeptically bought a 30ml. It was good, very close to how it use to be, but it was no where near as thick as I remember. My next order was 100ml and it was different than the first bottle with a slight off putting sour note. I can't vape it and it narrowly missed the cut to be thrown in the garbage during my last juice box cleaning.

I think I am holding onto it purely for memories at this point.

I thought I was your garbage :(

That was a really good series of posts.
I've experienced the same thing (though it's off topic) with juices from a few other non-NET companies. What the juice was like is no longer what it's like now. (And I don't accept that my taste has changed, although my preferences have. I mean to say that my taste preferences have changed, but my taste buds are consistent. Though, the more I vape the more I can pick up stuff I don't like, such as AP.) Rambling!
As well, some companies used to be very responsive to emails about their liquids and answered my questions. Those same ones don't anymore. I'm guessing some have been bought out by bigger ones, so the name remains the same but the intimate customer relations are abandoned.

After reading a half dozen articles on taste and smell, it is my opinion, as well as others, that the sense of taste and smell do not remain consistent throughout our life. The following is just one of many stating this.

Aging Gracefully: Changes in the Taste Buds and Sense of Smell
Losing your senses of taste and smell may not be fun, but it does not mean that the good life is over.

PUBLISHED: Jul 2, 2014

Taste buds: Who really gives them a thought? Once you learned about them in grade school, you likely did not consider them the reason for food tasting good or bad, sweet or salty, spicy or mild. When you eat, you either like foods you are trying, or you do not.

You are born with 9,000 taste buds, which work in tandem with your sense of smell as your sense of taste relies primarily on odors. Your sense of smell and taste change as you age. Between the ages of 40 and 50, the number of taste buds decreases, and the rest begin to shrink, losing mass vital to their operation. After age 60, you may begin to lose the ability to distinguish the taste of sweet, salty, sour, and bitter foods. The sense of smell does not begin to fade until after the age of 70; its decrease exacerbates the loss of taste for those affected. The exact cause of these changes is up for debate.

Interesting. And yet it is as we get older that we appreciate the nuances in smell and flavour and can distinguish and appreciate the different flavour genres such as sweet, savory, umami, salty and sour.

Perhaps the loss of the ability to taste things as good as we used to might account for why older people appreciate stronger, pungent foods such as salty or pickled foods, chilli, anti-pastos and condiments.

I wonder if we can get taste bud transfusions the same way we can get hair transfusions or Botox? :)

I am glad to hear our sense of smell hangs around until we are in our seventies because I am a bit of. Perfume connoisseur.

Maybe something is going on in the newer batches? Like you I bought a 30ml bottle when it first came out and it was very good and definitely reminded me of the original. I the immediately bought three, 100ml bottles, but this was many months ago.

maybe. who am i to dispute "science." but, as it relates to food nothing's different, just the vaping juices are.

My sentiments exactly, Skeebo!

Another vendor I loved was.... I think her company was called my vape juice?? Not real sure, but she had a dunhill breakfast blend that my taste buds thought was amazing. I am not sure if that's the company name, but she was amazing. I remember she had a terrible accident about 2 or 3 years ago. Do you remember by chance?

MyVapeJuice. Her name was Diana. I purchased so many of her liquidation sale bundles.

I didn’t know she had a terrible accident. Is that why she closed up shop?

I don't recall an accident, if there was it was long before her closing down MyVapeJuice.com. I'm pretty sure she closed it due to the amount of business she was getting as well as the changes in the laws concerning vape products making it harder to make a profit ( and likely other reasons as well ). I believe she has started a crafts based business but I'm uncertain if she went online or just local.

Do you have contact information by any chance? That is exactly the vendor I was speaking of
