MOV's Pendragon is a particularly fine batch this order. Much more flavorful and distinct.

Has anyone gotten a recently made batch of St. James Parish? This one I just received seems off. Probably needs a steep but last time it was much better right out of the mailbox.

GeJ's Godfather is addicting. I mean in my book it's not the greatest cigar vape and the liquorice flavor can be a bit overwhelming but I keep buying it and going through a bottle in no time at all.
GeJ Godfather was the only one out of 10 NETs that I got a few weeks ago (from two companies) that was good out of the mailbox!

Also ordered 2 artificials from Halo, from jerms' recommendation (added you as referrer, hope they give you something!)

plus ordered RBFS Dagood's wife. They are only an hour away but I'm not making that trip right now, so had it shipped.
What did you order from Halo?

I'm vaping some newly received Dogwood's Wife. Someone mentioned before that DWiT tasted a little different than when first released, that it tastes a little more like a cigar now. Also, Brian from RBFS mentioned to me he was improving his cigar extraction methods. It's been a while since my last bottle, but it does indeed feel a little different than my memory. All the ACID Blondie notes are the same and the main feature, but they seem just slightly tamed alongside a more cigar-like experience. DWiT was already the best ACID extraction on the market, but now seems even better. Truly a wonderful vape. Wish I had picked up some Poet & Scholar to see if that cigar extraction had changed too.

If you've never vaped an ACID extraction Beach, the flavor is very different from any other NET. ACID cigars themselves are very different from other cigars. They are infused with a bunch of different flavors, herbs, essential oils, etc. Those flavors infused into the tobacco transfer very well when extracted for a NET. Someone who doesn't like it may compare it to potpourri or cologne. DWiT is ready to vape immediately but may take a few sessions to adjust to.

One thing im gonna just let sit for a month is Big Spirit from Clay's NET.com -- I ordered a 30 ml bottle yesterday based on his rep, as my first order of just small samples were all obviously in need of long steep times because they lacked flavor. I can tell after 3 weeks they are trying to come through but still lacking flavor.

Go with RBFS, that's close to ~52% off the regular price for some and ~58% off the St. James Perique. Use the code & get two free 15ml bottles of VP Custards, throw in free shipping, and it's a no-brainer.

For those who buy Retail NET juices, this is a great time in Vaping History, when you have ~6-8 Vendors producing top quality juices... The only benefits to DIYing them is self satisfaction and cost.

I just Bottom-Fed 30ml of St. James Parrish & 20ml of GeJ Perique through a CH Modded Marquis Clone@ .343ohm dual vertical coil, without dry burning the coil or changing my hemp wick. I get no burnt taste or lack of flavor on either juice, even though the wicks are black in color. The gunk on the spaced coils aren't very bad, maybe vaping the Net in the 40-50 watt range using spaced coils has something to do with that.

Gotta tell ya, Toms, I really agree with the spaced coils. Firing at 30w makes me much happier than 15w, even at 0.8Ω or 1.1Ω

Additionally, despite their higher juice consumption, it seems like they're pretty gunk-resistant. Lemo Drops will fail to wick fast enough on the IPV Mini v2, so I have to make sure to build the wick large enough and keep the coils at the right height. Odd thing is, they won't gunk up or drop flavor [edit: initially] to any great extent... but when they do, it's a sudden shocker for me.

I've not been able to get retail juice for a little while, but I can say that I'm looking forward to this Newminster (best I can recall, it's #9) Creamy Vanilla Cavendish. Plus, as of late I'm really liking complex juices that aren't super-strong in flavor.

The rest of the Tobacc-tions, besides a Virginia I have on standby, are actually heating up in a small dip-warmer on-and-off in cycles.

I just let the mix get hot, take a jar out, and put a new one in. Sure, it's nowhere near covered, but that's the reason behind the repeated removals; stirring; shaking; tamping back down into jar; returning jar to heat source, or changing it out with a new one.

At the bottom of the cooker is a metal lid, holding up the jar from the bottom just enough. Right now, the H&H Frenchy's Sunza.....es is nearly done with its second cycle of heating. It was quite gold-dark before, but now it's approaching the color of used motor oil; it's likely quite close to being done, or it already is.

I really enjoy a good whiskey, and this one is supposedly topped with a bit of the same. Hoping it tastes as good as it smells, but that's where the aging comes in.

Yo jerms -- tribeca and freedom. both 7 ml bottles to try, each with 12 mgs of nicotine.

I found the sahara gold from vaporfi was great for mixing, which I tried with Godfather from GeJ. I'm not a purist so I was fine mixing the raw fidelity of the godfather with the sweetness and overtones of the artificial sahara.
I haven't vaped Freedom in years. It's one of Halo's original releases. May not be one of their best but should give you an idea if you like their style. Halo makes their flavorings in a lab, so none of the common synthetic tobaccos are used. GeJ has a line of lab tobaccos that I believe are made in the same lab. They have a few that are very similar to some that Halo sells.

I use to hear from some that didn't like Halo but like Tribeca. It's a really great RY4.

Hope you like them, Halo's a brand worth checking out. Been around forever, were one of the first 'big deals' and they've continued releasing some very interesting lab made juices.

Turned into a cigar smoker again for a while. Finally emptied the last of the humidor on Friday. I was only vaping about 1ml a day. That was mainly to get through work. I'm back on track now. Have I missed anything exciting?

It's been very quiet, at least from the old stand-by's, many which have disappeared altogether. Several newbies livening up the chat, so that's good. Last you were here you and Vapenstein recommended several cigars to extract. I took the advice with Nica Rustica, Lord of Albany and found a Happy Brown Bogie that taste identical to Monkey Poo Brown Bomber.

Not sure if anyone checked out QnJ lately but it seems many of their NET's are soon to be discontinued. Only six on their list made the cut; Analog light, Analog Red (the menthol version of both of these as well), Kuba Kuba, and Habana Daydream. The others are in the soon to be discontinued bin so if you liked any and wanted to order, would guess the sooner the better.

On another note, the link for RBFS on page one of this thread is not working. Think they changed their website around so it needs to be updated to a current one. Just throwing it out there to keep the thread as informational as possible.

Couple updates from my end...I'm probably the resident noob on the NET thread, a title which I wear proudly (haha!)

Got quite a bit of vapemail today, include a ton of equipment and several NETs. The rest come later this week. I've only tried GeJ's Patriot so far. What can I say...for the most part, GeJ liquids tend to taste great out of the mailbox.
Patriot has a very satisfying taste, with leather notes complimenting the tobacco flavor.

I also got a package from patioclark today, who has been a huge help getting me started with DIY ideas and advice. I haven't tried his yet but I'm certainly looking forward to his cigar liquids.

My vape budget is gone for the month but hey, I'm set!

My God Pirate's Drunken Sweet Tooth is as amazing as I remember. It took me a while the first time to get into it, so wasn't sure if it was a steeper or my perception that changed. I expected it was my perception because it went from meh to holy crap in a big way, and vaping it fresh now confirms it. I highly recommend this one for fans of sweeter NETs; one of my all time favorites.

Let's just say my RBFS order from that same sale came in a medium sized USPS Priority box.

While it will be a long time before I will need to resupply RBFS juices, do we have any indication if the brand will be available in the future elsewhere?

RBFS -- uh oh, are they going byebye soon? I just got Dagwood's wife...not bad. The flavor seems spot-on, so he captured it nicely, but its not my cup of tea. They are right next door to me as well so thats nice.

I'm still looking for that sweeter taste maybe. I want to vape the smell of a newly opened pack of cigs. Or the smell of a mild Connecticut like rocky patel Connecticut. Maybe mixing is in my future.

I guess internet searches are too technical...

Vaping Watch had a URL change is all it's now Vaping.Watch ... RBFS is still available from them at River Bottom Fog Sauce

Per their site.

"Vaping Watch, Inc. announced April 9th 2015 that its partnership agreement with River Bottom Fog Sauce and its creator Brian Smith has ended. “We are proud of the success we have all experienced while carrying the RBFS juice line.” said Watch, CEO and Owner of Vaping Watch, Inc. “ Mr. Smith communicated to me his interest in manufacturing and distributing his juice line independently and we wish him continued business success.”

While the details of closing out this partnership are being finalized. RBFS products will continue to be available through Vaping Watch. More updates will follow as details are determined.

All River Bottom Fog Sauce products have been vastly reduced in an effort to move our remaining inventory. One these products sell out, they are gone and will not be restocked."
