Per their site.

"vaping Watch, Inc. announced April 9th 2015 that its partnership agreement with River Bottom Fog Sauce and its creator Brian Smith has ended. “We are proud of the success we have all experienced while carrying the RBFS juice line.” said Watch, CEO and Owner of vaping Watch, Inc. “ Mr. Smith communicated to me his interest in manufacturing and distributing his juice line independently and we wish him continued business success.”

While the details of closing out this partnership are being finalized. RBFS products will continue to be available through vaping Watch. More updates will follow as details are determined.

All River Bottom Fog Sauce products have been vastly reduced in an effort to move our remaining inventory. One these products sell out, they are gone and will not be restocked."
Interesting, I wasn't aware of that and had assumed it was just a brief sale. Wonder if Brian is going to set up his own site.

I see the Wacky Vapes are still cheap too, wonder if they are also parting ways. I'd like to try the few I didn't order and maybe reorder a couple. I really dig a few of them and the 15ml bottles will go quick. Infected and Z are both great fresh, but I'm setting them all aside for a little to see how they steep.

I'm actually considering moving on from NETs or at least taking a break for a while. I think I'm falling for the creams and custards bug, along with desserts and fruits that I've always liked. After switching to my 6mg nics recently, I found myself falling in love with my well-steeped Suicide Bunny's The O.B. That and Mother's Milk was a little too subtle for me to really get into, but I'm now really enjoying the subtly complex flavors and creamy mouthfeel.

I'm planning on a big order from ITCVapes soon as I heard they do great desserts/creams/custards while being very cheap. Plus some big Ahl orders. Other than that, I really don't know what vendors are known to have good custards and creams. I don't do 'premium' pricing which limits things and my willingness to research flavors is low these days. I'll worry about that later though as ITC and Ahl should keep me occupied for a bit.

Hey Jerms, you might look at Frontier Vapor.com, I haven't had their creams or custards, but ordered some customized Tea juices. They have reasonable prices and a Custom menu to blend your own juices... DIY without the cleanup.

Custom e-Liquid Lab - Frontier Vapor
4 Suicide Bunny juices also Suicide Bunny

Heresy Jerms, heresy.
Another one bites the dust.

Thanks for the thought, but the shops that have you pick your diy flavorings for them to mix never interested me. I never learned about which flavoring companies do which flavors well.

Also wouldn't order Suicide Bunny at it's retail price, but I'd pick up more O.B. if drastically on sale like last Black Friday. I saw Giant Vapes is selling "special edition" bottles of Mother's Milk. Only $100 for a bottle of pre-steeped MM. People put some furious reviews for that on the site lol.

Alright, got some more NETs under my belt, so now I think i have a different way of saying what Im looking for. You guys know the almost raisin-like scent of a new pack of cigs? Or a tobacco curing barn? Perhaps it's "light" flavor, I'm not sure. Or a mild cigar. Any ideas for something like that? Thanks as always. Starting to think maybe Clay's Big Spirit might be a good fit for me after a month or so of steeping.

TL;DR version: Tried all the new NETs out of the mailbox, some were fine, none were great, letting them steep to reach potential. Still learning but at least now I know to let them steep.

Some reports on my new purchases, with the caveat that these are right out of the mailbox tastes and that I am looking for, I suppose, a certain "taste" -- and I am no connoisseur:

RBFS Dagwood's Wife
: A nice vape...Im sure its spot on to that type of cigar. The cigar itself is not my cup of tea I guess, so this wasn't. Very grassy, unique flavor that wasn't jiving with me totally, but not bad.

Halo, freedom: a bit "perfumey" to me, but this is prob because it needs to steep a bit. Tribeca: not bad, not great. Could prob use some steep time as well. I bet both will mature nicely.

GeJ: patriot -- a basic, semi-strong version of the underlying flavor base that ive detected quite a bit in several NETs. Solid, not in love with it. A bit earthier perhaps that Im thinking.
GeJ: Organic Tobacco: a stronger, darker version of patriot. Whatever negative I can taste in Patriot was magnified with organic.

QuickNic: KubaKuba, solid...very similar feel to Patriot
Analog Red: hardly any taste, which I have learned to take as it needs a month or so to sit.

Ethervapes: Nomad: somewhat similar to Patriot...no distinguishing flavors on this one really
Top Leaf: subtle tobacco taste similar to patriot, vanilla was present. It tasted bold but muted a bit, if that makes any sense. Not sure how I feel about it, so will steep.

NET, Big Spirit...comes tomorrow and wont touch it for a month, I've learned I stupidly didn't give Clay's stuff a chance, back before I knew about NETs needing steeping, so I got a 30 ml of this to just sit for a bit. I did get an extra shot of extract though, for ....s and gigs.

Well, just in this last week I got a HOL in one. House of Liquids that is. I picked up 7ml bottles of the Puros, perique, Guevara and the coffee flavoured one. (Cigarillos was sold out which is a bummer).

I decided to throw them in my cart when I was ordering some Alloy Blends samplers. I've had two experiences with HOL in the past, one good and one bad. The good was when I was gifted a bottle of Virginia Prime by Scarfy back in the day. It was a fine liquid and had a tonne of tobacco impact. The second bottle was cigarillo from an Australian website that was selling juice at 0 mg which is a requirement by Australian law. Well I don't know if it was the 0 mg or some other post production tampering of the product but it had no flavour and no tobacco impact despite puzzling feedback from this thread at the time that HOLs had intense tobacco impact.

So now a few years later i whimsically tucked a few sampler sized HOLs bottles in the cart and they arrived a week ago.

There is no doubt about it, the tobacco impact is intense in HOLs Nets. They are perfect for a kick of sheer tobacco when it is craved. The liquids are pungent, punchy and flavoursome. The Puros Naturale is described as tasting like a rich Cuban cigar but I am getting some very strong nutty overtones on it.

Perhaps my favourite is the Perique. Much like the other liquids in the range it is also pungent and oozing with a powerful punch of tobacco. The perique is evident with every draw. The perique reminds me of the amazing experiences I had with the perique Vaperite was making years ago. it is so Earthy, rich and Earthy with that Soury olive flavour that is unmistakably perique and unmistkably tobacco.

For someone who doesn't smoke anymore, HOLs liquids are almost a guilty pleasure.

HOLs most like are not all day vaping liquids and will leave your coils looking and tasting like the under bonnet of a dirty car by the end of the day, however they offer a rare decadent smokey experience that really feels like one is smoking a big oily cigar.

I fell hard for Blends by Bryce: Blends By Bryce - Online Store - Blends By Bryce and BRYCE's E Juice | E-Cigarette Forum

His Vanilla Creme Custard and Vanilla Creme Pudding are superb. Thick, rich, not brazenly sweet, eggy, and very satisfying. I also have a weakness for Sweet Cinammon Danish. He's a good guy with service and delivery so fast you'll be amazed.

I smoked a Cuban Romeo Y Julieta just a few weeks ago. It definitely had a nutty note to it. It was meaty, nutty, and creamy with a touch of sweetness. Of course it was also two years old. So, it was definitely progressing in to full maturity.

A distinct nutty taste is not uncommon among Cuban cigars. It isn't the same nutty feel/taste as burley, but it is there. It isn't the peanut, cashew, or almond taste you get from South American tobaccos. It has a fuller flavor almost like a macadamia or a Brazil nut in my opinion.

Do it! HOL makes good stuff. I have had the chance to sample more since an earlier bad experience. The Cellar line is great and the Cigarillos Naturales was mind bending. On the down side, after about 1.5ml I was changing out my wick and dry burning.

Nutty was all I ever got from Puros. Didn't care for it, but it was a favorite of the line for a few others here. Cigarillos is also nutty but not as much, I was more underwhelmed than turned off by that one. A few others from HoL I found pretty great though.

It's weird I remember them as clean on coils. This was quite a while back when we did a group order here to save on shipping. I thought others from that order said they were surprisingly clean too but I may be wrong.

This was maybe around 2 years ago. Either my memory is playing tricks, they've changes something about the juices, or our definition of clean was much looser back then lol.

:offtopic: Long time, I know. But I couldn't afford NETs anymore and went full on to the creams/fruits/custards myself. While ITCvapes have some fantastic flavors (Spoonlickers, Monkey Bread, Puddin' #9, Nilla Gorilla), they do gunk a bit. I do recommend them, and their prices, however. For great custards, try DieselbyCG -- Chris's Custard and Blueberry Custard are fantastic (these are clean liquids, and their prices are good, too). I can't use them in anything but drippers, since my RTAs need 18mg and the highest they offer is 12mg. They also have Momma's Milk and a killer Strawberry Milk ;) Both of those vendors have decent artibaccos/TINOs (Dirty Dutchman from ITCvapes; Lot Lizard from DieselbyCG).

I've moved on from ITCvapes due to the gunk factor, but have been satisfied with DeiselbyCG, and Ohm's Vapes (for my 18mg desserts). :offtopic:

Thanks Jef! Even though it's off topic I really appreciate the suggestions guys. I trust the opinions here more than suggestions from those I don't know. Sucks researching others opinions on juices when I have no idea if their tastes are similar to mine or their level of experience.

I first heard of ITC from New Kid on the Ahl thread. I inquired about their RY4 on The Big RY4 thread and Bill also praised their dessert offerings. Nice surprise since they are so cheap. Glad you mentioned Dirty Dutchman. I was curious as it looked like an RY4 but with chocolaty cigar for the tobacco. I'll add DeiselbyCG to my list too.

Brian from RBFS just okayed me sharing an email he sent, so I'll do that later when I have another minute.

I wasn't too impressed with their Gold RY4, but Dirty Dutchman is amazing for an artibacco. Back in the day, ITCvapes had an acclaimed RY4 and were more expensive than they are now. I recall wanting to try them out, but couldn't afford to until they lowered their prices. Which is good, since, while they don't have a large menu, what they do provide is usually pretty darn good.

I still use RTAs daily, and even with using rayon wick, I would still have to recoil after 2 tankfuls. When you have 10 RTAs, that's a PITA. They're great for drippers, though :)

Howdy Beachbum, welcome to the thread. The first few months I was vaping NET's was between 3.7-4 volts on my MVP; a lot of 1.8-2.5 evod coils were used as well. There was no problem tasting the juice. Plus, many of the people who have been on this thread much longer than me started with that type of set up as well (just going from what I read in the previous thread). I'm guessing it is not the equipment.

My experiences with Big Spirit was it took over a month for it to start to come together. It was about a month in a half for BS to have any flavor, before that, it was bland like unflavored. Once it aged a bit, it became a wonderful liquid which was full of flavor (it even got better the more it aged). Chris's Blend was a little light until about a month but was able to detect something before that time; was just weak.

Their cigar's are a different story. Most of them take about 3 months before they come of age. I never had Cognac Infused but hear it is similar to Bourbon Infused which tasted like nothing for a good 2 months and became a flavor bomb at the three month mark. It was the same for 3-crown for me; disappointed out of the mail but pleasantly surprised after the 3 month mark.

So guess I'm saying I wouldn't give up on them yet. It is just the nature of the beast with some NET's. Put them aside and taste a little once a week. You should see some improvement in the near future.

Well said. This is great advice for a newbie trying NETs.

In my experience with NET.com I offer my own advice on steeping times:

Cigars - 3 months +
Analogs (like big spirit) 4-6 weeks
Pipes: 3-4 weeks.

All as a minimum. They only start getting good after these dates and then they are fantastic. As Jerms said, try them until they taste good. Don't give up on a liquid that is tasteless, especially when the general feedback varies greatly to your personal experience. It usually means they just need steeping.

Try the perique. It's one the newer liquids in the line. I do like RBFS and other perique incarnations out there but often the vendors tone them down by virtue of keeping gunk down or reducing that strong pungent unusual characteristic in the perique profile.

HOL however doesn't hold back. For me, this is what perique should taste like. If it doesn't punch you in the face it's not the way perique should be IMO.

As a small example and since we're waiting word on RBFS I'm finishing off a bottle of Porch Rocker that I got in October. It was good getting here but man, it's fully grown up and very rich.
