It is crazy how different everyone's taste is...
I ordered a few bottles of SJP, and they sent me a couple of small bottles of Count Caramel too. I tried the SJP, and kinda think it's meh, but I LOVE CC. I don't taste even a smidge of caramel, but there's something about it (almost--sorta--perfumey?? but in a good way) that I just can't get enough of. It's honestly one of my very favorite juices ever. But I am not a fan of caramel (which is why I didn't bother ordering it in the first place) and would certainly have resentful feelings if that's what I was going for. That being said, if anyone has some 6mg CC they want to swap for some SJP, feel free to PM me.
vaping Excalibur right now. Not even a month old, but I just can't help myself.
Hearing another report on the lack of caramel in Count Caramel has me wondering how old the stock is and how well VapingWatch has been storing it.

I will! I'll traipse over to the DIY section when I get started. A lot of stuff to read before diving in.

My line is always open to you. Hit me up and we can talk if you have the time. When in doubt, the DIY section is really all you need. But if you can't find an answer, I'll help, too, if I can.

I'm tapped out Jay.
Sorry Jay, Boomer's tapped out because he sent me a small stockpile. ;) Just arrived. Everything smells great. Mixed up a couple, gonna let them sit, but had to have a little taste. The Seattle Pipe Club was first and it's it a really deep earthiness.

I do think that Boomer's measuring device may be miscalibrated. He set it for 5ml per extract and it came out more like 30. ;)

So Boomer, do you do all extracts at 5:1? Or is that just your rough rule of thumb?

Pipe tobacco at 20% and Cigars at 30% except for Oscuros and Maduros which I start at 25%. This is just a starting point as tastes differ. They're on the high end as you can always dilute them further if they're too strong for your taste.

That's because I had to use every bottle I had. You can always send 25 mls back to me.

I think you are spot-on with the 30% recommendation for cigars. I am finding at ~20% the flavorings are more forthcoming, but at ~30%, the tobacco jumps to the front. Vaping on Sweet Euphoria as I type. It's good at both percentages, but I'll be damned if I don't like it better at 30%. I traditionally like to keep my total percentages around ~10-15%, so this is quite a change for me. Of course, extracts are way different than regular flavorings.

Gotcha. Started at 16% will bump up the Ashton for sure.

Just got a package from Boomer and am like a kid in a candy store. Well, a kid with money in a candy store cause a kid in a candy store could be a cruel joke if he's broke. But I digress, gonna be a mixing fool tonight. Thanks Boomer!!

On another note, kind of took a break from NET's the past few months as I got into DIY just in case the vapocalypse hits. Been a fun ride and not too tough, just read the DIY forum for a while before jumping into it. With that being said, went on a bit of a NET shopping spree so been mixing it up (darn holiday sales are just so enticing at times).

I received all the new cigars from NET.com last week so letting them sit a bit before trying again. Was impressed at how most were out of the mail though. Clay still got it.

Will also be doing a few reviews on a couple from EtherVapes in the next couple days: Djinn and Monticello. Everything tastes so much better now that I upgraded my RDA to a Velocity, that thing is a flavor beast for sure.

I'm vaping Boomers Ashton maduro right now. Wow, so good. I was skeptical on the cigar extracts, and this is the only one I asked for, but... yeah. Really nice.

Meanwhile, I have two ethanol extracts all but done. Reducing right now and will decide if they need finer filtering. But after the freeze filter stage, these things look just crystal clear.

I'm extremely impressed by ITCVapes' creams, desserts, and fruits. I saved the one tobacco I ordered, Dirty Dutchman, for last, and got a surprise.

It's description begins "creamy caramel with a hint of vanilla accompanied by a chocolatey cigar blend." I was expecting either a dessert TINO or a sweet synthetic tobacco. Nope, it's a Tobacco Absolute blend.

For me that was a pleasant surprise, as I enjoy a well made TA vape and haven't had one in ages. This is a good one, not too much TA going on and mixed well with other flavorings. For those who hate TA though, this won't change their mind.

TA juices change a lot as they steep. I look forward to how Dirty Dutchman morphs, but it's perfectly vapable fresh.

Well I've been meaning to try those anyway
And since the River Bottom Fog Sauce dried up before I could try all of them I'll try ICT. I did get in on some of that Saint James Parish at $10 then $5 a 30ml but all the 6 mg got scarfed up pretty fast.
Dagwoods Wife Is Tripping wasn't bad but I still want to try Count Caramel. Vaping Watch may even still have that $5 a 30 going on Idk? I wished they would get resupplied so I could try the others.

Description from website: Flue-cured Virginia tobaccos that are naturally sweet, with hay-like and citrus notes. Fans of Gold Leaf will love this new analog style blend

Device: Velocity RDA (clone) with 1 ohm coil W/KGD on a eVic VT

The Juice: 70/30 pg/vg at 6 mg

On the inhale I get more of the darker/earthy notes. A little of that hay note as described but not overpowering. That stays half way through the exhale when a slight sweetness comes to play. It (sweetness) really becomes pronounced at the end of the exhale; a nice sweet Virginia note which does have a slight citrus feel to it. There is also a slight smokiness which stays throughout the vape.

I really like this one and that is coming from someone who is not into sweet vapes. Instead, the sweetness compliments the darker notes while the smokiness just ties it all together. Very pleasing, slightly smokey room note to boot. All and all, I would say it is a nice representation of a flue cured Virginia blend.

I also mixed up a cigar from Boomer, Perdomo Lot 23. I did this one cause I wanted to compare it to one I got from MVJ. Very nice and at 30%, much more bold, very enjoyable. I mixed up a couple others and will be tasting tonight. Been a fun week so far and it's only Tuesday. Taste buds are really enjoying it.
