Description from website: Flue-cured Virginia tobaccos that are naturally sweet, with hay-like and citrus notes. Fans of Gold Leaf will love this new analog style blend

device: Velocity rda (clone) with 1 ohm coil W/KGD on a eVic VT

The Juice: 70/30 pg/vg at 6 mg

On the inhale I get more of the darker/earthy notes. A little of that hay note as described but not overpowering. That stays half way through the exhale when a slight sweetness comes to play. It (sweetness) really becomes pronounced at the end of the exhale; a nice sweet Virginia note which does have a slight citrus feel to it. There is also a slight smokiness which stays throughout the vape.

I really like this one and that is coming from someone who is not into sweet vapes. Instead, the sweetness compliments the darker notes while the smokiness just ties it all together. Very pleasing, slightly smokey room note to boot. All and all, I would say it is a nice representation of a flue cured Virginia blend.

Sounds excellent. Mmmm Virginia.

Is your Velocity clone Tobeco? Where did you buy it? I could use a new flavor chasing dripper.

Yep, it's a Tobeco, got it from Eciggity and it was pretty cheap on their Labor day sale (they aren't that bad at regular price either, like $20). I like it, can have a real tight draw or wide open. For flavor, I like the tighter draw, seems to really enhance it.

hey, i was curious if any of the NET connoisseurs have tried "blacknote"?

bad/good/great?
is it really as high quality as they make it seem on the website, or just over-hyped like the other company with the cardboard tubes?

i was also curious if there is an updated tier list from the first page? it's like a year old now. thx.

So I got my ridiculously discounted price batch of RBFS today. Straight away loaded up RBFS Count Caramel first and foremost. Now look, given the absolutely gutting demise of my most cherished Caramel Wild Wood...now known as Carmelized Rotting Salmon on Cedar Plank...I blurred the line between hope and expectations of this juice...and they were bloated to a level that was in no way fair. So be it.

So first vape...

I am not sure what i taste, but it aint caramel. There is a woodsy note that is nice enough, and a slight brightness coming through maybe Virginia and some Burley too. The burley note reminds me of Fabulous & Burley. Overall it is pleasant and vapable...

I must say I have always found the RBFS line to be light in the loafers on flavor impact. Maybe that is just me, as another way to put it would be that they use a very balanced hand in mixing these juices. For my part, I always want more and not in a potato chip kind of way. Rather, in a not quite satisfied sort of way. Fab & Burley is just the wrong side of great for me and so is Porch Rocker. I am so close to adoring those juices, yet so far. Both respected juices, and they are balanced as well as any NET on the market to be sure, but I always want moor oomph from them. Whatever is going on with the Count, and whether or not any caramel ever really strikes me, it is a very nice and vapeable juice...but damnit I want it to punch me in the face a bit more and that is frustrating.

On the selfish side, this is in no way curing my caramel fix :(

I find the RBFS juices light on flavor, too. Everyone so raves about Count Caramel, but I am with you. It is a nice enough NET, but where is the caramel?

I too did partake in the recent close out of RBFS at Vaping Watch. I have to agree with both of you that the caramel in Count Caramel is not there however I did enjoy the tobacco base even though it is on the light side. I tried Caven about a year ago and found it to be mild in flavor as well.

I liked St. James Parish more than the Choctaw Perique. Other recent tries from Clay have been Excalibur and Peaches and Cream. I think @clnire has tried Excalibur and there's someone else. Can't remember who got the broken bottle. Anyway, mine had been sitting since May. I'm enjoying it quite a bit. There's a lot going on in there. Peaches and Cream is a perfect blend of each. Very nice. Not overly sweet or overly creamy.

Thanks for your review of NET.com Peaches and Cream as I have it on my mental list for my next order. I have never had any eliquid NET or otherwise that contained peach. What would you say is the tobacco(s) used in this blend? I recently tried Muth’s Mix which is similar to Coconut Cavendish other than Muth’s Mix uses a natural cavendish which I quite enjoy. A nice change for me from the black cavendish.

I just got my bottle of peaches and cream pretty good I can taste the peaches but not much cream, but I need to let it seep a while. Excalibur is seeped and a very fine vape :)

I won five 30 mil bottles and thought 3 were good to very good(Sonata, Forte, and Adagio), one was fantastic (Cadenza), and one was a disappointment (Prelude, just too sweet for my liking). They were pretty clean and had better than average coil life as NET liquids go. And like you stated, they are packaged real nice but that kind of stuff really is just fluff.

If they scaled that back and brought down the price a touch, I would be all over them but at about a buck a mil, it's real tough to recommend them. Even Cadenza which I thought was special, I can't see spending that kind of money on. I feel the same way with Real Extracts, they are a buck a mil and have probably the best Virginia I have had but honestly, I can live without it for that price. So I guess the driving factor for me not liking these is price. The quality was good, on par with a few of the other top notch NET vendors out there, just at inflated prices.

thx, for the good info.

yeah, i feel ya on the price. the only reasons i'm even considering it at those prices:
1) buy 5 get one free + a points/loyalty program. both combined bring the price down to like $22-23 for 30ml...about normal *shrug*
2) i would probably switch to a higher resistance and go more the tootle-puffer route with this type of liquid. so i would vape less than i do with fruit/dessert flavors.

both those factors make the price not seem tooo bad to me :)

I have been out of the country so missed your generous extract offerings. I am not a cigar vaper (nor a DiYer) however based on Mr. Mann’s comments, Tatiana Vanilla and Mocha mixed together sounds very tasty to me.

I'm waiting for supplies to come in. Hit me up in a couple of weeks. Folks enjoyed the extracts so much I decided to hang on and I'm waiting for more bottles.

Just dropping in to say hey and to post that I am currently enjoying some Cadenza from Black Note. This stuff is muy beuno, erm, molto bene! All their liquids are quite kind to coils, but the rest of their offerings kinda blur together in taste, not leaving a whole lot for me to distinguish this or that...but Cadenza? Yeah, this is for me!

Edit: Forte is the other one I really enjoy. Forgot about that one.

Hey @Vicman

Just posted this recently and we are in agreement on it all. I don't know if I would buy Cadenza (I got it as a gift), but it is in fact an eliquid (of any vein) I would keep on hand if money were no concern, but it is. Cadenza is, as you said, special.

@NotSoMini I can't yet really tell which tobacco is present. My tongue hasn't finished learning. It is good though with peaches being more present than cream. It's a ripened peach too. EV's Fresh Peach(?) was more a new/green peach which wasn't as desirable to me.

this is the last post I can get to for the past several days and appears on page 625 of our thread. is this really the current thread? several days old?
I think so. It appears to me NETs are unknown to the new folks vaping and other NET users may have moved to non-nets or both (me, though mostly nets).

I, like you, enjoy a flavor other than a net occasionally and my taste buds thank me too. :p

I think everyone (like me) is still trying to work through all the RBFS we picked up from that giant sale. Still have another 120ml of that to get to that i haven't even tried yet. Dat St James Parish has been hoarding all of my attention.

I'm still 90% NET w/custard, pudding, cannolli, and some weird stuff mixed in. I'm trying Clay's "Mystery Flavor". During August he included a bottle of a mystery blend. Contest is to name the ingredients with varying discounts going to the number you guess right. It's called Enigma and so it is. Can't figure it out.
