Tis true! The Peter Stokkebye London Export I used to smoke (RYO purchased in a pouch) was my first try at a NET. It came out great. Now I'm going to try a few tobaccos (Ligero esp.) from leafonly.com; love a good cigar vape.

All sweeties are in the USA, shipping is too expensive. I pay 25 bucks for net.com. I have to search in Europe.

Do you think its good enough, if i try it with usually american spirit role tobacco or is it better to buy leafs ?

What is referring to nicotine ? How many nicotine will my extract have ? Can i try it without danger because of the nicotine ?

Sorry, perhaps its a silly question....but i dont understand, how to count.

I want to make a buying list for making an extract. What do i need and some questions:

1. american spirit bright role tobacco or are leafs much better ?
2. rice or slow cooker. Hm, whats better ? Special modell ? How many hours is a real good heating ?
3. jars. Usually food glas jars are okay ?
4. PG and VG and nicotine
5. What filters are the best ?

Should i try a bright tobacco i like to smoke or is it better to try a dark one because of having more flavour ? I want the taste of a very warm virginia like the ones from net.com and as a second try a very strong cigar taste. Can you say what leafs (or tobacco) are good for it ?

Do i have forgotten something ?

I think you will be disappointed with trying to extract from unprocessed tobacco leaf. Raw leaf has a bitter, alkaline taste and is a far cry from processed tobacco. I know, I tried it and gave it all away. Whew!

My 2pence/cents worth.....
I'm also in Europe, & dead jealous about the easy availability of Retail NETs that these guys have access to!!
For Us, simply...You HAVE to have a go at extracting Your own!
I'd love to try the heated ethanol way, & have tried slowly heating in PG (tho' not using the rice cooker....My missus is Filipina...the bloody thing's permanently full of....Rice!!)...but have settled with cold macerations in PG 'cos it's so lazy/easy!!! Just try it...doubt You'll regret it!

Yes, it will be as you say. Damned americans ! They have all the good .... and we are sitting in the rain.

I think, if i had some juice, i have also the time to wait for steeping for months because of the cold way. I want first enough juices for some months. Therefore i will try the ethanol way at first because steeping is less time, or not ? But i am thinking that i perhaps like heated juices generally more, because i like the heated from net.com more than for example the cold extracted from blacknote. I am a beginner and i have to learn a few things.

Do you buy your leafs in the usa ?

What, specifically, are you looking to purchase from the EU vendor?

I have thought that you know perhaps a good vendor for tobacco leafs because shipping would not be so expensive and long. At the moment i am waiting since the halloween purchase for my new order of net.com. Its hell.

I have a friend in Amsterdam and Copenhagen that might know a couple of places; fingers crossed!

This is where you want to go : Liquid Extraction From Tobacco

Funny, when I first tried Paris I thought it tasted like another Canadian brand, I can't remember the name though. Something like Monarch, House of Lords, something along those lines. Red on white with a gold foil crown or something. Anyone know what I'm referring to?

Say boomerdude, you never answered if the brand you where looking for was du Mauier or not.....

What leaf were you using and from what vendor did you purchase?

Got a few pounds of cigar leaf and a Virginia from leafonly.com IIRC. These are strait from the plantation and are only water washed. Nasty stuff. Far cry from fired or flavored tobacco.

Buckingham, I think. I'm not looking for some. I was just reminded of them. It's been 50+ years since I smoked one in high school.

Their site says they offer air, flue and fire cured tobaccos. I hope they aren't pulling people's legs with their descriptions.
