Been working my way through the many nets I now have from net.com

Surprise was the free sample of 'the mercenary' that came with my last order. This liquid is superb. Cigar extraction that was perfect after just two weeks of steeping. I am no good at describing flavours so if anyone is interested look it up on net.com!

The smoked latkia containing French flavours, gypsy blonde and Poliu are perhaps a bit much for me, enjoyable all the same.

Jonny - Speaking spirit is similar to big spirit but with some perique added. Slightly more interesting and full flavoured. Oddly i suspect it may be one of the most coil gunking of clays juices!

Burley blast is real nice.

Sun cured turkish a great all day vape.

The VaPeOr is currentLy my second favourite behind the mercenary.

E=mc squared I had a small sample, despite struggling with some dud kayfun wicks I enjoyed it.

The ruins was real good. The raven I suspect may have needed some more steeping.

Baffled how people can vape these in anything but a rebuildable. I am dry burning and rewicking my drippers after 30-40 tokes/pulls and my kfl plus after 2ml.

Going to give macro coils a go, currently using micros, this might give a bit more coil time before dry burning.

Still to try my 3 crowns and half zware.

For the time when I cannot be bothered with rewicking etc I am still loving HoL El Puros and Black Note's line.

Direct from Clay himself... all of the Spirit versions are different American Spirit tobacco's... All of the NS versions are Nat Sherman tobacco's

I am wondering a little bit. You and Anthony know Clays tobaccos but his extraction method is a secret ? What do you know else from him ?

Do you perhaps know where he buys his burley and latakia ?

Have you tried the organic spirit ?

Burley blast is interesting. Never tried. Is it the same as the other burleys or do you taste a difference ? Clays burleys are very good.

I've extracted all of the American Spirit Tobaccos. Perique ( black Package ) is my favorite followed by the original. All the rest taste the same to me.

What is your favourite referring all rolling tobaccos ? Wrong thread, but its interesting, because i am trying rolling tobaccos at the moment ?

He hasn't ever stated what his extraction methods were openly nor would he say what his sources for the various tobacco's he extracts.... Why would he give away his company secrets, that would just lead to his competitors being able to recreate the products he creates...

Why would he give away his company secrets,

Yes, thats the question. Why should he talk about his tobaccos and on the other side not about his method ? If he really told that the spirits are american spirit and also have spoken about every other tobacco he is using, he has given away a lot of his secrets. This is why i am wondering. It does not fit together.

Because even if I used the same tobacco he mentioned, like American Spirit, my macceration will taste differently from Clay's method of extraction, filtering and mixing percentages of my final NET juice. Each Vendor may do something different during the process, like Coke vs. Pepsi, each has a slightly different taste from the same Cola nut.

He did mention to several people that on certain eliquids he used specific name brand tobacco's for those extracts. He did it on those simply because that would help his clients that were looking to replace those tobacco's they enjoyed with an eliquid of similar taste ( minus the taste from burning tobacco ). This is just good marketing and not giving away secrets he did not want to divulge. On the majority of his eliquids he only mentioned the types of tobacco's but not the specifics in order to best describe their flavor profiles.

Just because he mentioned some details on a couple of eliquid lines, doesn't mean he did it on "a lot" of his eliquids only on those few did that happen. You have twisted what others have told you about a handful of eliquids into something that is far from the truth. He is as open and honest as he can be without giving away most of his secrets.

Thanks rdsok. Than their must be very big differences in taste referring to the different extraction methods. I have read it often but i didnt know what to think about.

I am ready with my experiences with hot ethanol and in a few weeks i can try the american spirit organic juice by the hot pg method. I am curious if i will taste a big difference to the hot ethanol method or not.

Lol Jonny. I am not going to engage in espionage to convey company secrets to you. I don't know about Clay's extraction techniques, suppliers or recipes. Anything else I might know was given to me on trust but really, as any good businessman, Clay is tight lipped about processes and techniques.

Though I think I am not giving anything away or breaching trust if I mention that it is possible that Clay's extracting techniques originally were acquired from a long term member here called Scar-face (I don't know where the hyphen goes in her name, maybe Sca-rface). You
Would have to search back in the original Natural Tobacco thread to find her posts on extracting techniques. She also had her own NET thread for a while on extracting methods.

Her original techniques are nothing different to what we are already doing- that is a cold maceration left for about 6 weeks in a PG/Vg solution.

I am pretty sure that Clays techniques have evolved since then through a long process of trial and error.

Bad sport ! Do you know if Clay has an alarm system ? Perhaps little foggy could keep watch for the police.

Where is foggy ? Quak, quak... Has he drunk the complete litre from Clay ?

I don't vape NETs like I used to, but my must haves are:

Hearth and Home Louisiana Red
Missouri Meersham Country Gentlemen
Hearth and Home Burley Kake
All home extractions, I love a good perique! The Burley Kake is a good burley, and I also use it to make a much loved RY4 (thanks Bill Herbst!)

" a long term member here called Scar-face (I don't know where the hyphen goes in her name, maybe Sca-rface)."

If I'm not mis-remembering I think it's scarf-ace. As in ace scarf maker.
I don't think it's a moniker for someone who scarfs down Mac & Cheese or a reference to Al Capone.

3 must have nets. Puuh, very difficult. To many good ones from net.com.

1. smoked latakia from net.com, but cant see it at the moment. Too often
vaped...
2. different burleys from net.com
3. american spirit organic home made, dont know Clays

My favourites are changing every month, i think. Sun cured turkish, patriot, minister and many more could be my top 3 next month. One day i like chocolate and next day i want pop corn. But this is the interesting thing referring nets. As a smoker you are smoking only one or perhaps two tobaccos and a vaper has many good ones.

Till yet i have found many very good nets, but i am till searching for the perfect vape.
