I made it with 100 ml PG and it seems fine. 10% in 50/50 for Solani ABF seems OK

Glad you had success!

This thread doesn’t get bumped a lot lately... but, I’m glad it gets the occasional post, so it won’t get closed / archived.

I gave up the ghost of doing EA extractions a while back. My tastebuds much prefer a precipitate ladened 100% PG maceration, filtered down to only 8 microns. I change out my rayon (wick) every morning while I’m drinking my morning Joe, so, the gunk factor doesn’t bother me that much. I just like the full flavor that comes with the precipitate matter in the NET. Some look at as living on the dangerous side of vaping, but hey... I gave up inhaling actual, on fire and/or burning tobacco leaves, thus, a little bad for the good of the flavor I receive is where sit. ;)

Dear nostradadus

as a keen beginner in diy NET world I am very happy to get any attention from you, experienced guys with lot of knowledge.
It is not only that I don't have anyone with same hobby in my town, there is no one in my country that I know to be playing with diy NET at all!

Anyway, this forum is perfect for that.
I have started my journey recently, gave up smoking around Christmas time, started buying aromas and diy ejuice shortly after, tried Blecknote NET in February and bought my first pipe tobacco in March to make my first EA extractions NET at home.
It was all aromatic tobacco and I did not like it .
My second batch is in progress, I ordered more pipe tobacco, all non aromatic (allegedly) and split each in half, one for EA extractions, another PG only cold and I made some in EA/VG 70/30 with bump start for 8 hours at 50 Celsius.
What I have noticed so far is that when evaporating EA from solution if heat(up to 40 celsius) is used for prolonged time(like 5 hours), final product is week in aroma?
Anyone noticed the same?

This is just one of the reasons I gave up EA macerated extractions. By my tastebuds... the EA extraction just didn’t carry the same flavor punch as my plain PG macerated extractions. Plus, I guess I found the evap process a pain in the tuchus. Thus, I just get the flavor I’m looking for via PG extractions and somewhat lite filtering (8 microns).

I have put in an order with Goodejuice after 2 years of not having any of their juices in my inventory.

Goodejuice are simply the best of what used to be a thriving NET market with many amazing NETs a few years ago.

Juices that used to be phenomenal from top rated NeT vendors are just not what they used to be IMO but my recall of Goodejuice from my last order 2 years ago was that they had not changed.

Having said that, I am enjoying bestcigliquids from the UK. They have stayed the course and some of their juices remind me of how good NETs used to be.

I'm still hanging in there, but with a major change. After years of buying and over a thousand dollars spent, I'm done with naturally-extracted-tobaccos. The service has been getting slower and slower, and the owner doesn't seem to want to provide even basic customer service.

But it's not the end of the world for me, since I bought some extracts from Stixx Mix which are every bit as good (or better) than what I'm used to. And, he actually answers emails. And doesn't print a shipping label when he takes your money and then sit on it for 2 weeks without sending anything. I have a new place I'll be buying my juice from.

fascinating. I used to love NET.com liquids. I was around when Clay first started the business. I got endless joy from all the different NETs on offer and it took me 3 orders to realize they just weren’t as good as they used to be.

2 orders literally went down the drain. I couldn’t even ‘hate vape’ them. My last order which I got around August last year will likely be my last ever.

I had so many favorites at NET.com. Big spirit, shunjis, Rum Rebellion, Air Cured burley, so many. But nowadays they all taste muddy, old, stale, undefined and unremarkable.

It is a real shame.

I just wonder if he's still pulling from his original extractions which have finally realized their shelf life.

I haven't had any problems with the quality. My original comment was my dissatisfaction with the delays and lack of any communication whatsoever. And I've often wondered if the long delays were because of having to do a quick extraction due to being out of the juice I wanted - which may have not been a good seller. But even if that's true, it is inexcusable that no one took 30 seconds to send me an email explaining the delay.

Though I'd said I was done ordering from Clay, I did break down recently mainly because I wanted to see if my coupon was still good. It was. But here is the timeline, and it looks even more sad when I put it on the screen.

Ordered at 3:29 pm 4/12 - that was a Sunday so it doesn't count. Let's call it 4/13
"Shipping Notice" - label was printed on 4/16 - three days later
Actual shipping was on 4/28 - 15 days after order and 11 days after it "shipped"
Delivery was 4/30 - the order was worth enough to go Priority and his state abuts mine.

From day one, I knew that since he sells nets and allows specifying how you want your juice it possibly wasn't a question of just grabbing a bottle off the shelf. But the only way i can see this sort of delay is a total lack of concern about taking care of customers. There may be another reason(s) but I doubt we will ever know. You know, because of that silence thing.

I learned my NET methods by standing on the shoulders of ECF NET Giants. Thanks @Str8vision and others!

I know Stixx’s methods because, other NET enthusiasts and I were there to help Stixx get started on his NET making journey in the Fall of ‘15. This assistance happened on another forum which, to this very day, can’t be named on ECF (the bots will strike out the name).

I merely relayed to Stixx, everything I had learned from the NET Masters on ECF.

So, if anyone wants to know how to make NET like Stixx Mixx... look no further than the threads here on ECF.

You know, this is very reminiscent of the time that Clay got his start with NET.com.

Clay was a regular member in this thread in 2011 and 2012 and he acquired a lot of advice with developing naturally extracted tobacco and liquids. Armed with everything he knew about naturally extracted tobacco he went about starting his own NET Business and had about 6 to 9 extracts, I am not sure, exactly how many. He quickly added more juices to the line and it was up around 20 different flavors. He’s whole line had cold maceration options. The cold macerations was significantly better than the heat macerations. Now most of the products are heat macerations in a business model that has become a more high-volume profit turnover operation, and maybe just a soft option as a result of an ailing motivation.

When he started net.com we were all behind it and very excited for him and he’s NETs with the best bar none. The flavours were so crisp and defined and nuanced. He used the beat ingredients.

He even named some of the juices or extracts with the names of members from this thread including myself with Rum rebellion after we had made suggestions for new additions to the line up of NETs.

Clays customer service was exceptional in the first 6 to 9 months of starting net.com. He would bend over backwards to answer emails and provide recommendations and he was very generous as well. It was a labor of love for him in the beginning but over time it quickly fizzled out. It was around 2014 that he first started to have some issues with getting back to emails and customer service when he had some personal difficulties that most people didn’t know about.

To this day I still miss those wonderful early juices that he made during the first year or two. The juices I’ve gotten in the last three orders between 2016 and the present have been a mere shadow. Just vague, muddy, undefined stale versions of those earlier spectacular juices.

I hope Ty doesn’t have a steep drop off in enthusiasm once the initial novelty wears off in a similar fashion.

Ty has been at it for more than four years now. So far so good.

I remember Clay's early start as well. I recall he was having marital issues while trying to hold down his regular job as he ramped up the juice gig. It was a juggling act for him right out of the gate. Seems the air came out of the balloon and he never recovered. Not sure how much his heart is in to it.

I agree that in N.E.T.'s prime, they were the best juices I've ever had. I came in a bit later than others, probably sometime in 2014.

I wasn't aware of the personal issues and he deserves a pass for that. But to me, I noticed the change happening in the panic days after the deeming. Shortly before the first date arrived, he expanded his line by a massive amount. The new flavors doubled or maybe tripled what he'd been offering. Everything was confusing and up in the air back then and I am pretty sure he was just trying to get a lot of options on the market before the cutoff. Nobody then knew that it really didn't matter since the FDA was going to make it so nothing would be approved, existing in the market or not.

Whether that caused his efforts to be diluted among too many juices to be able to keep up, the personal problems, the burnout - maybe a part of all of them in a perfect storm - it just hasn't been the same since then.

And trying hard not to beat a dead horse - I made a Stixx order last night. It was processed after a couple of hours. I got a tracking number this morning and have every expectation it will start moving later today or tonight. Such a massive difference.

Seriously, I stopped short of saying that but I wonder the same thing.

Two orders, one in 2016 and one in 2017 mostly got purged. I order my 2019 order on the strength of the more recent reviews on the site for each flavour and on NET Vapers YouTube reviews.

I am now sampling through my stash of NET.com liquids and already 3 bottles in and I can tell the whole lot will get purged.

All the talk about NET.com is kinda breaking my speed a bit, I have to say. Is Clay still active there? I haven't got that much experience of nets (only tried NET.com, Black Note and Good e juice)
I bought a big batch from NET.com in 2017. Shortly after I went off nets and into synthetic tobaccos. Been back after realising synthetics is not for me.
I've been diving into my net stash lately and I thought the ones from Clay is just wonderful (what do I know...).
I remember him communicating well with me, and even sending me a handful of samples for free. Always held the man in high regard.
Anyway now i'm ready to get some more off him, but i'm very reluctant....:(
Maybe I should communicate with him again and ask him why his quality and service has plummeted.

My last really good order from NET.com was around that time when he expanded the range. Much of it was the flavored hybrids. It was mind blowing and hard to choose what to go for.

The juices were good. Out of that I loved the cinnamon Sugar cookie, carrot cake, margarita, banana walnut, upside down pineapple. They were all wonderful. Even the teas were great. I really enjoyed the Yerba Mate.

the same hybrids in my 2016 and 2017 orders were not the same. The flavours of the additives were pale and muddy.
I still have some hybrids in my 2019 order which I will he sampling and either keeping or purging.

My Goodejuice has arrived in Sydney! I am hopeful it will be delivered tomorrow. Things are extremely slow shipping out of the US. I think it could be Covid19 related.

what did you get at Goodejuice and what was your opinion of them?

I asked Clay the same question in 2017-2018 I think it was because I was so confounded because I thought I was losing my palate. He said quality control had not changed at all but was getting some help in the business to mix the orders I think.

I have Patriot, RY4, Perique, Vita Bella and GJ4.
I'm terrible at describing flavors so I won't even try....and my taste buds are shot.
RY4 has way to much caramel.
Patriot is a blast. Will get more....hopefully they kept that the same :p
Vita Bella is kinda smokey and sweet...like it to.
Don't know what to say about GJ4. Its ok, but not as good as Patriot.
Perique I mixed other stuff in, and that didn't work.
I need to mention again...They are just under 3 years old. Don't know if they're over their best either. I had them in a cupboard and only took them out 2 months ago. Had a go at them when I received it but then went over to synthetics.
All in all, the little taste buds I have left, made it quite clear to me they very much prefer full blown NETs lately.

I had to let Vita Bella sit at least three months before I could vape it. Had a nice flavor then. Been awhile.

Wow. I kid you not, I came here to say the same thing. Except I was going to go a bit further and say it's close to my favorite liquid of all time. I don't think it's ever once disappointed me. Of all the liquids I've continued to try throughout the years, Patriot from Goodejuice can't be beaten---at least not in my book. Vaping on it now.

Howdy, all!

Edit: the only difference for me now is that I don't use 24 mg. For my preferred NET MTL devices, it's 18 mg.
