I have to say Vic, the GeJ juices didn't trash my attys near as much as the Quick nic juices..especially Grandpa's Night Cap. GNC is an all out atty trasher.

Agreed. GEJ vapes as clean as can be. Quick Nic is right in there with W2V/Vapenstein, with lots of suspended particle goodness (AKA atty killers).

I must say, unfortunately, a couple batches of Organic #1 from GeJ give me the occasional clog. It's not out right assalut, but it happens. None of the other juice from Nick have been that way, but #1 has been a bit of a queen.

If anyone asked my opinion (which obviously no one did), I'd probably recommend Natural Perique as a good GeJ starter juice for someone wanting to get their feet wet with a "straight tobacco". GJ4, Apple Cured, and Vita Bella are not "straight tobacco", and Natural Perique is probably the mildest of the ones that are. Organic #1 is also pretty mild, but it's got a little "musky" thing going on, although I don't mean that in a bad way. Wild Turkey and Acadian Gold are not as mild as those two (to me), and a little on the "cigarette-y" side.

Disclaimer: I've not tried Patriot yet, so that opinion could change.

I propose a new acronym be adopted (due to the current acronym shortage). Naturally Extracted House Tobacco = NEHT (Pronounced NET).

Okay, so we got NET, NEHT, but what about CO2ET - carbon dioxide extractions (of) tobacco (more top of the line applications). Maybe NET should be, for most soaks (which GeJ uses probably better than most), MET - maceration extraction (of) tobacco? How about EAET for ethyl alcohol tobacco extractions? That shouldn't get too confusing, should it? I remember a poster complaining about the term "natural" and to a certain degree I understand his plight. Maybe we should add all these to the arsenal and see if that pleases him.

Next installment, acronyms added to the endings of these for filtration processes. ;)

If I sell a painting, you got a bottle coming!

p.s. Great advice! Though I would wait for NP to be back in season! Damned weather.

If you ever wanted to know what an $18 cigar looks like when shredded and turned into a nasty-looking PG/VG sludge, kind of like this:

Sad, actually. Rest in peace, little Monte. I'll be simmering this all night.

mmmmmm... Montecristo maceration! If that were mine I'd seal it up and allow the infusion to soak in some PG for at least a few weeks (well, maybe a few tastes along the way) :). Good luck, please let us know your results!

For home use, I would lean more toward EAET as opposed to PGVGMET. I have done PGVGMET and it tasted like NADA.

Heh, OK :). I was thinking about a way of breaking the vendors that are extracting their own NETs from those that are outsourcing their NETs. But the more acronyms the merrier IMHO...

I will meet you at the border. ;) Nothing is illegal in Detroit. :D

I was born in Detroit way back in 1959. Actually, I was born in Highland Park. I moved away in 1960 (wasn't my choice) and haven't been to Highland Park since. I hear it is a rotted out hole nowadays and has been for awhile. True? My parents said it was a nice starter community when they lived there.

By the time I get through 3ml tank in a genesis, a cleaning or re-coil is needed no matter what the juice was, but some do start "gooping" a lot faster than others.

Man, Highland Park is what Detroit residents view as the hood. It is a city within the city of Detroit (for anyone not knowing).

Oh yeah, Vic, a straight PG soak can work fine, but I wouldn't use VG. Also, the only way you will get a good extraction is to use tobaccos that are almost too strong to smoke. There will be considerable flavor loss, so it is best to start out with POTENT stuff, ya dig?

One of the very few towns surrounded by a city. Hamtramick is another one? Need help with that one. I heard HP is Trash City USA now. And it's been that way a long, long time. I have pictures of it with my Mom holding me when I was a baby (yes, photography existed back then). All the homes were fairly new, kept up nicely, clean...just your typical post war, starter home community with young families. We have friends near Detroit that we've visited a number of times. Now and again we'll go to Detroit. It's a total ghost town. We'd have lunch downtown and there's little traffic. Having spent 38 years in Chicago, I'm used to bumper to bumper, horns blowing, people cussing at each other. Downtown Detroit is as quiet as a rural farmtown.
