This is from September last year and maybe someone else brought up the hickory...

Oh yeah, it was my man, Tez.

LMAO... that's great. ... I started reading this whole thread and some of those early reviews were crazy! I think I am on page 25 ITT... thanks for posting this though, guess it goes to show that we all see, smell and taste different.

And what's really crazy is that YMMV from yourself. I still agree with some parts of my "reviews" (they were mostly ramblings), but there are those times when I wonder what the hell was I thinking. It's all really difficult especially when we have NO idea what is in a liquid. Honestly though, there was still much of this year that went by when people didn't know what was in VB and it was not always guessed to be just a vanilla tobacco. Rare bird, that liquid.

I detect an inhale of Cutex nail polish remover followed by an exhale of Pine-O-Kleen

I can't understand it either, because several people I respect LOVE Highbrow's tobaccos.

Here ya go, Johni! Scarf's post about Highbrow.:lol::lol: I don't have the time to go through the rest of the 20, 327 posts though. ;) But some were so memeorable that I can go right to 'em. Good ol' search function for "Pine-O-Kleen."

I find Scar's reaction to that juice to be equal to my experience, however I did get the nail polish remover taste on exhale as well as inhale, alongside the Pine-O-Kleen. Also, more like store brand Pine-Sol than Pine-O-Kleen, but that's just cutting hairs.

A true classic!! I loved her take on Organic #1 also. It was similar. I miss the little gal.

Yeah, we've always had some rotating members, but some need to rotate their asses back in here. Miss ya, Scarf. Oh yeah, I very vividly remember her take on OT#1. Man, Johni, have you ever thought about the fact that we have read virtually EVERY post in this thread? We ain't the only ones, but damn! That's a lot of thoughts. Half the time now I barely speak on liquids especially when I've been down that road so many times, but it is interesting that some of us not only remember speaking of the liquids in certain contexts, but we remember exactly what was said and by whom!

Yep, we were all there. I saw your "objective" take, Jerms. :p

It has been damned entertaining. I think the camaraderie here has done almost as much to distract me from smoking as vaping has! I have read every post, some many times and it has been a very interesting distraction. Who ever would have thought we would be really missing a cigar smoking gal in Australia?

Even though we are old timers in this thread, I really appreciate the new heads that come in without missing a beat. It was much easier early on as there wasn't a whole lot to choose from, but I still think that some of the best were the best, even though they may have been tweaked since the beginning of the thread.

At the end of the night, each of the heralded vendors in this thread still have their must-try liquids, and some of those liquids are the same must-try liquids that we spoke about early last year..

I just had my first taste of vita few days ago and I'm very intrigued
the vanilla custard taste (if that is what it is) is very unique creamy and just amazing

Mine is only maybe 10 days old and I put it away take it out again in a week or 2
I am really looking forward to seeing how this one steeps

If I didn't have so much juice now Id just order 2 more 30 mls to steep and vape what I have now

I've read every post too, the thread was half as big when I started reading from the beginning, and I waited until I caught up before posting. Found it full of great info, plus very interesting and entertaining. My opinion of the thread hasn't changed at all.

I'm so repulsed by Highbrowbacco there's really no point to try to sugarcoat it. I'm still trying to find someone to take the bottle off my hands. Even though I still have the bottle, I'm in no way close to being tempted to try it again.

Well I don't know what to say. I seem to love everything immediately, and then when the new shoe vibe wears off (alot shorter with e-liquid) I can get a more personal taste going. First off, I taste almost a saltwater. ...then it opens up into a green leafy-earthy ordeal... the vapor is great. The TH is solid. I have to laugh because when I got this I was reading somewhere about ferret piss, and the saltiness and the reference.....well....(not cool) however it is convincing me otherwise to be a nice, earthy, neutral vape. It's performance is stellar and lately, for me, that makes a good vape. Olives.......that is what I taste!!!!!!

I wrote this as honest as I could. Any feel similar or am I trippin?

Maybe more of a grass than an olive...?

ROFLMAO     I just couldn't let this pass
I remember when that review was first posted and when I read this my head went to... When ferret piss filters through green leafy-earthy salty soil, after a while maybe it is saltwater. :D

Hope I came to the right place. I am purchasing an epipe for a friend for Christmas, he normally smokes a pipe and likes aromatic pipe tobacco. Would the following from HHV be good choices? I have read on the forum that HHV has good Tobacco flavors and they are not too bad on atty's. Just looking for opinions and advice as I vape an ecig but only use desert vape flavors and know nothing about the Tobacco flavors, let alone pipe tobacco flavors. Thanks for your help :)

Huntsman (Purity), Legend (Purity), Caramel Apple Tobacco, Sweet Swish, Oompa (Purity)

Can't go wrong with any of those. I would suggest not casting judgement on Oompa until a good few weeks of steeping. Huntsman is best after a month of steeping. Legend is good out of the mail, and gets more better with each passing day. CAT is good anytime (or so Sir bronze says, I haven't had the pleasure).

So, hit the Legend and CAT first, and let the Huntsman and oompa age a bit for best results, but that just my take. I'll always vape Huntsman at any stage, but it just gets more flavorful after a month. I'm on my last few drops of my latest bottle and need to re-up. It's one of of my very favorite NETs, as is Legend and oompa.

Like all the NET vendors discussed on this thread, HHV has its fans and detractors. Some NET diehards love HHV; others not so much. HHV's claim to fame is its NET hybrid blends, where the tobacco is somewhat restrained to balance with a mix of other non-tobacco flavorings. Legend is the best example of that style in HHV's line. Huntsman is a more straightforward natural tobacco, while Oompa is natural tobacco with chocolate. If I were buying for a friend who smokes aromatic pipe blends, I'd pass on Oompa. Chocolate is a difficult flavor to get right in vaping liquids; mixing it with tobacco doesn't make it any easier. Caramel Apple Tobacco and Sweet Swish are both synthetics, which is fine, but know going in that they're not natural tobaccos. Sweet Swish is HHV's take on Swisher Sweet Cigars, for what that's worth.

If I were in your shoes, I'd consider N-E-T.com rather than HHV for gifts to a pipe-smoking friend. Not that HHV isn't OK, but Clay's (the owner of N-E-T) pipe blend extractions might have better odds being right up your friend's alley:

You could get your friend one or two pipe sampler packs:

A HUGE +1 for NET.com! The blends are top-notch authentic pipe tobacco vapes that really cannot be underestimated! The smoky-ness of the Latakia in Balkan is superb, nice background sweetness keeps it from being too dry. Black Cavendish is a sweet aromatic pipe that has the smokiness in the background to round it out. Chris's Blend and /or Coventry are sweet with plenty of tobacco in the backbone of the vape to keep it upright and not bakery/dessert sweet. Dover Court is a blend that meets the mentioned blends half-way.

In the flavored category, BJ's Blackberry Burly is a really balanced flavored pipe blend that has quite the loyal following as well... it offers a nice get away when the dreaded "Vapers Tongue" starts setting in, or for a compliment with a evening drink after dinner.

I could go on-and-on about NET.com, they really do put out a quality product!

Another vendor that just doesn't seem to get the recognition they deserve is Quick Nic e-juice...
Quick nic's Slow Brewed NET's
Grandpa's Nightcap is an amazing aromatic that I enjoy just as much for the room note as I do for the flavor.
