I think its high time someone started an arti thread. I don't want the job.. but someone ought to.

I remember a thread a while back when I was newer
think it was called the tobacco peoples thread

I remember it was a bigger thread and I think it was what you are talking about

but it was a while ago and I was newer so Idk for sure

I use this thread to talk mainly about NET, but also occasionally artis, hardware, the vape hobby, etc. I personally don't find anything wrong with talking about other stuff in big threads like this as long as the main topic is what's usually discussed, which this thread has always been able to do.

If someone really wants all posts to just be about NETs, they have the option to click "ignore" on people that don't. Otherwise, I think it's best to let the mods decide if a thread has gone off-topic.

Anyone here ever try Ramaglia's Toscano Gold from TPR before? It's a cigar net. I thought it was great, but I know NOTHING of cigars. So I'm wondering how a cigar aficionado would have taken to it.

I liked it. It got really funky tasting as it aged. Here's my review from about a year ago..

Ramaglia's Toscano Gold, described as.. house-extracted tobacco and Italian cigar. Ramaglia is the vendor's last name, and Toscano describes an Italian Cigar. I know little about cigars, but based on this juice I would guess Italian Cigars are funky. Or, by using her last name, it's Andrea who provides the funk. I like funky tobacco juices.. sometimes. When I'm in the mood, I REALLY like it and nothing else will quite hit the spot. When I'm not in the mood I briefly think yuck and move on. By funky, I mean this musty, pungent, smell found in such things as skunks, old socks, and dirty hippies. The website uses the term "bittersweet" in the description, which I also find accurate. Like my other favorite funky juice, Natural Perique from Goodejuice, this juice gets funkier as it ages. To me, that's ideal, because when I'm in the mood, the funkier the better. This juice really brings the funk.

You guys are really making it difficult for me here -- I'm holding off buying new juices until I consume most of what I have here, and now there is this chat about TINOs and some juices I haven't heard before with really good recommendations :)

I keep a list of future orders when I read about a juice or vendor that interests me. Makes it easy when it's time to order juice, no worries about running out of things to try!

Since when is having a long list of juices you want to try at some point actually making anything easier... :D

With my short term memory ( or lack there of )... it's much easier to get through the "einie meanie minie mo" and pick something... lol

Yeah, sometimes an item is on the list so long I forget why I wanted to try it in the first place lol, all I know is at some time I thought it would be worth ordering for whatever reason. Adding something to the list really only means I may get to it sometime in the next year.

Sometimes I wish I had the ability to like variety in juice as much as Jerms, but have found that if real tobacco taste isn't the primary flavor it just doesn't work for me. I have found few synthetics to be interesting and have avoided the TINOs. After trying a lot of NETs, I always like returning to Patriot, Louisville, Apache, Vita Bella, Bluegrass Burley, Southern Gentleman, and other full flavor tobaccos.

ETA: This has made my list of stuff to order much more manageable.

To keep my interest... a juice has to taste like tobacco. The other flavors, even if I like them for what they are... just don't satisfy me to replace real tobacco. I revisit the synths for a couple of reasons... one out of curiosity to see if someone finally "gets it" and does make something close enough in taste it won't matter to me... and also because the synths usually don't gunk as much, if I can find one close enough in taste... I can then use it for long sessions such as at work or out on the town and not need to worry about it gunking up quickly and needing me to change or clean a coil.

I didn't want to forgo vaping juices I like because they fouled equipment so I ended up on the rebuildable bandwagon. I can get through most workdays without a dryburn but carry a tiny piece of cotton so if I have to degunk it is easy and quick (couple of minutes). I tried carrying genesis attys for a while but they were too fiddly, not pocket friendly, and the bottom third of the tank got dark and nasty.

Sorry I'm a johnny-come-lately here. Too busy trying to stay up with a few other threads and this one just goes too quick!
But has there been any discussion of specifically RYO extracts? Like maybe anything from Peter Stokkebye or Bali Shag?
I used to enjoy Amsterdam Shag and Stockholm Blend and still poke around to see if anybody has offered a similar e-liquid.

Amsterdam Shag: A spicy blend of excellent fire-cured Kentucky and full bodied, rich Virginia tobaccos.
Stockholm Blend: A full-bodied smoke featuring excellent Virginia tobaccos blended with a touch of Dark Fires for a full, satisfying flavor.

So I guess my bag is a Virginia tobacco with a little kick.
Recommendations?

Hi bustamelon. For good fire cured flavor, I'd suggest Fire Cured from GoodeJuice and Fire Cured Burley from NET.com. Both also make an RYO like juice from cigarette tobacco. Big Spirit and NS Dark from NET.com and Analog from GeJ. Search this thread for discussions of all of the above.

ETA: Also check out the single varietal juices (or extracts) at NET.com. With a little blending and experimentation, you could put together a blend close to what you're looking for. I make a Virginia/Perique blend with them and love the stuff.

Can this be our Holy Grail?

Products & Services | Tobacco-Extract

Backed by more than five generations in the tobacco industry, Tobacco-Extract Inc. knows tobacco leaf.
Over the years, we have been involved in every aspect of tobacco, including growing, curing, grading, teaching, and blending, and we still grow tobacco on our North Carolina farm.
From the ripest Flue-Cured from Nash County, North Carolina, to exotic Indonesian Srintil, we have broad experience in a variety of tobaccos for different applications.
We are experts in extraction and distillation and manufacture every product that we sell. Our factory is located in Durham, NC, USA, in the famous “Old Belt” growing area, and home to some of the finest tobacco in the world.
We have refined our methods over the years to produce extracts that express the true essence of the leaf. Each extract reveals, in a highly concentrated form, the depth, complexity and intensity of the tobacco itself.

Formats
Water soluble tobacco extracts-extremely heat stable and ideal for casing applications.
Alcohol soluble tobacco extracts.
Tobacco distillates that are crystal clear can be used in e-cigarettes.
Spray-dried powders.

Don't know, but they have a very nice looking website. I like the clean look. Very serious looking site about e-cigarettes too. I go to North Carolina a lot, and you better believe it's God's country for growing Tobacco. I love Asheville, Hendersonville, and Boone. Oxygen is so thick, and healthy. Very beautiful areas.

Very interesting, but none of the product links on the site are clickable yet. Very curious about the crystal clear Tobacco distillates.

Nice find Chinook!

If it has manufacturers mark on it, then it becomes a counterfeit, not a clone. The Russian was the clone of the Kayfun 3.1. The units from FastTech are counterfeits as they copy the original devices including their markings.

I'm not knocking your choice, just adding some clarity. :)
I have one on the way to me - no logo but I think it is called The Asian 91%...

I do have an aging bottle of GeJ Fire Cured. That's a good one but I think it's past its prime (ordered too much Ahlusion before I could finish it). Also have Wild Turkey and Organic. I like them all well enough, and want to order up some Patriot next. Then I may try some of the NETcom cig liquids next. Wondered if there were others I hadn't heard about.
