thanks papa, im all out of perique juice so i fired up some acadian gold and started reading... its damn long and a lot of the info seems verbatim from "mistique of perique". pipesmagazine mustve copied this literature. Great read. You can tell that it was typed on a typewriter lol. I never smoked perique but can tell from the descriptions that the profile doesnt really transfer to ejuice quite the same. It does get a funky stewed fruit raisin thing, but it lacks the peppery bite that pipe smokers describe. The whole process, and history really intrigues me though. Its also interesting how it will only grow in a small area in St James.

Theres a coffee kind of like this. A coffee plantation in Panama (hacienda esmeralda) that has a tiny little portion of their farm that has a microclimate that they grow a different varietal of coffee called Geisha. They harvest and process it separately... Its usually only a few bags (400-600lbs) but the prices that they go for at auction are insane. LIke $200/per pound (cost not retail). They arent one pound bags either. Green coffee usually comes in burlap sacks that are about 165lbs (75kilos).

Glad you enjoyed the read. Some interesting history tidbits. I've read some contradictory comments that have "implied" that perppery/spicey is more prevalent with faux, but then some say a chocolate flavor is a sure sign of a faux. Unless we could get a bit that we knew was grown in that little triangle and processed correctly, we'll never know what the "real deal" is/was. Fat Chance of that, but if you can't always get what you want, you get what you need and I like both Nat Perique and Choctaw Perigue, so I'm pretty sure I'll be happy with an extract from the perique tobacs I can purchase.

Speaking of perique, my Devil Dog is finally shipping. I've missed it. How long do you all usually steep El Kamino and Deadly Sin? EK has a tad of a soapy taste and I'd like to get at least some tobacco taste from them both.

Several hours later, still vaping VapeRites hazelnut bacco. While not being such an impressive NET, it is rather addicting.

I forgot who recently said how good that liquid is, but I think it's one of Vaperite's best. Good flavor there.

i think i ordered on the 2nd as well. Got my tracking number yesterday but didnt get into system until today. Thats 6-7days which is the fastest ive had an order shipped by them which is impressive considering the sale that was going on.

Lol, I wouldn't consider it a must-try or important for people new to NET to seek it. I'm kind of easily amused, and like a lot of stuff, especially if it's new to me. Vaperite is however kind of a pioneer with NETs and one of the first to offer them, but not that highly regarded as offering amazing NETs. Since it's on your way though, sure why not, could do a lot worse and you'll know how you feel about hazelnut.

Yes I have already gotten duped lol bought a novelty flavor from alienvapor and man was it rank tasted like skunk spray smells :-( ruined a perfectly good coil in the process won't make that blunder again

I taste nothing tobacco like in Bobas Bounty, but it sure is delicious. Mostly a grahm cracker smore thing with like a cola fizziness bite that could be the 24mg nic, and maybe a little vanilla, but definitely not tobacco for me.

I've been switching between BB and Vita Bella throughout the day for the last few and they both go great with a little irish whiskey, neat of course.

That's what I thought too! But oh boy steeping has really reaaaaally brought it to life. When I first got it it was awful. The raisin was too much. The graham crackers were too much. But that's all faded into the background and I get a reaaaally rich tobacco with graham notes. Love it
