Several hours later, still vaping VapeRites hazelnut bacco. While not being such an impressive NET, it is rather addicting.

Ooooooooooooooooooooh YeeeeeeeeeaaaaaH :vapor:

I forgot who recently said how good that liquid is, but I think it's one of Vaperite's best. Good flavor there.

;)

Lol, I wouldn't consider it a must-try or important for people new to NET to seek it. I'm kind of easily amused, and like a lot of stuff, especially if it's new to me. Vaperite is however kind of a pioneer with NETs and one of the first to offer them, but not that highly regarded as offering amazing NETs. Since it's on your way though, sure why not, could do a lot worse and you'll know how you feel about hazelnut... Alien Visions E-Juice

I'd also recommend the Organic Flavored Madagascar Vanilla tobacco & Organic Flavored Peach tobacco, The Organic Flavored Japanese Plum isn't a NET but a nicely done Fruit vape.

Can anyone recommend a good apple tobacco w/ menthol?? Or just a great apple tob. I can add my own menthol to?
Halo's Midnight apple was horrid to me. I brushed my teeth 5 times and still tasted stinky grandma dime store perfume. Awful.

Or is peach or pear or cherry tobacco any good?

If anyone wants the remaining Halo Midnight Apple, it will be sitting down on the corner, in the rain, all alone, ...far enough away that I will safely never have to smell it again. Just the thought of it... aaack.

I tried the japanese plum at the vaperite vape bar... Too perfumey for my tastes, but I will give the others a try tomorrow :) love having them fairly close and tasting their various flavors. Only problem I have is I prefer more VG so once I find a flavor of theirs I like I still have to order online as the stores really only stock 50/50 blends

Anybody here try the GrizzleyVapes line at SteamMonkey? They started out with just a couple complex flavors, Nanner Bear and Koko Bear, but have added some more. The descriptions talk about a multistage process when it's crafted to stabalize the flavors, so it doesn't need to steep and has a long shelf life.

I've read of a few notable ECFers who are big fans of the line, including LastTango who's opinion I find worthwhile. To make things more interesting, the guy who makes them is a flavor chemist, which is a good sign. Interests me enough to add them to my future orders list.

Checking them out now, I see some more flavors added, including this one.. Simple 1 by Grizzly Vapes Yep, a straight tobacco flavor, now I'm really curious. There's no mention on the process or type of tobacco used, whether NET or synthetic. If synthetic, I wonder if what's used is a unique flavor made by the maker instead of commercial tobacco flavoring. Since they are said to have an extremely long shelf life I kind of doubt it's NET, but maybe it's a well done arti or very unique?

Not buying juice for a while, so won't try them for a while, but GrizzleyVapes is on my radar.

My ears pricked up when I heard the discussions about them, but quickly lost interest when the main flavor profile was "coconut." Just a personal distaste, so I moved on. Will look out for more reviews of the newer flavors you mention, though.

My Ahlusion order shipped today too... I know BGB will be great but I'm looking forward to Sahara Blend and Peachy Criminal; hopefully, they'll give my coil head laundromat a break :)

I'm finishing last drops of my GeJ stuff. I have to mix them up to fill up a tank... The current mix is GJ4 + Grasshopper + Natural Perique. I'm hoping that vaping that mix will give me a head full of thick golden hair and a set of emerald green eyes by the morning :)

My HHV order did arrive today. The liquid inside the bottles seemed separated, frozen and cold. I shook them and allowed them to come up to room temperature, then shook again and took the caps off. Huntsman is very anemic looking. A long steep awaits.

Still no sign of the KayfunLite Clone and Fogger... Looks like I'll have to call USPS if it doesn't arrive tomorrow.

That's what I thought too! But oh boy steeping has really reaaaaally brought it to life. When I first got it it was awful. The raisin was too much. The graham crackers were too much. But that's all faded into the background and I get a reaaaally rich tobacco with graham notes. Love it

How long of a steep to ascertain said flavor profile?

Fresh off mail: as a described at first
1 Week after: Graham cracker flavor still as strong. Raisin has faded significantly
2.5 weeks after: graham cracker fades into the background, but still noticeable (a good thing!). The raisin at this point has become a very very subtle tinge at the background.
Current bottle in its 4th week: Tobacco taste has certainly come up significantly and suddenly outta nowhere. Raisin is now minimal (good thing imo), Graham cracker is pretty much the same as 2.5 weeks (good thing). SOMETIMES I get a little vanilla.

Personally, I think that 3 weeks would be the perfect steep for BB, and as you continue to vape it and let it go into its 4th week (if it lasts that long) and beyond, from my experience the tobacco starts to take center stage. although i've read a ton of people who actually enjoy a strong raisin taste, so they deliberately vape it fresh outta the mail and at low voltage (apparently lower voltage brings the raisin flavor out more.)

This reminds me kind of my first juices from Halo, especially Prime 15. Initially it was like peanut butter cookie. After steeping 2-4 weeks, it was bye bye cookie, hello ashtray :)

I tried Boba's in 2011 when I vaped the first time. No likey. I rushed to buy it based on all the raving reviews...but it was like ashtray for me too. I prefer a fruit based tobacco for vaping, and menthol.. which is weird because I hated menthol analogs. Just not a fan of any of the straight up tobacco's i've tried.

Everyone seems to experience Boba differently. I never got raisin, mainly graham cracker. It also seems to change very little for me, even after several months I get the same honey graham with an almost, maybe, not quite, tobacco feel.

that seems to be the general consensus. Which got me thinking: do we all reaaaally have such different taste and preferences, or is the production of BB jus ridiculously inconsistent? I'm staring at my giant bottles of BB and Gorilla juice steeping away right now, and I'm worried.

I mean, I get that BB's known to be "complex" and all that jazz, but it always puzzles me how so many people get such different profiles from it.

edit: while we are at halo, words cannot express my scorn for it. all their juices smell like toxic perfume, and they taste like flavorings on steroids. In any case if anyone wants a 30ml bottle of HX3, lemme know and I'll mail it over to you guys for free.

I've ordered several bottles of Boba's at different times, and it was always the same to me. I have heard of consistency problems with it, but I never experienced it and it's been a while since I've ordered Boba's.

Having a bunch of different descriptions for the same juice is fairly common with "mystery" flavors like Boba's. Without having an obvious flavor, the mind kind of relates it to what it knows when trying to make sense of the flavor. My brain went right to graham cracker and got stuck on that.

Interesting....now the 30ml of Boba's I have today is down to about 11mls and is 4 weeks old today, and I still don't get any tobacco at all from it - just the graham, cola, and vanilla. No raisin at all, and none for my "super taster" fiancee who can seemingly pull the craziest list of flavors out of a vape, and yet still hates my NET's and vapes crapolicious hangsen exclusively :?:

She says - oatmeal cookie (without raisins), honey, vanilla, graham cracker

I only had a 3ml sample of the Japanese Plum, which sat for ~3weeks before I got around to it, no perfume noticed. The Vape Rite NETs are only offered in the 50/50 blend, only Nic strength and bottle size are options.
