I've ordered several bottles of Boba's at different times, and it was always the same to me. I have heard of consistency problems with it, but I never experienced it and it's been a while since I've ordered Boba's.

Having a bunch of different descriptions for the same juice is fairly common with "mystery" flavors like Boba's. Without having an obvious flavor, the mind kind of relates it to what it knows when trying to make sense of the flavor. My brain went right to graham cracker and got stuck on that.

Well, Wlad says it's graham flavor too, so you're probably right. However, it tastes clearly like oatmeal with raisins to me.

I think anyone getting ashtray flavor from Boba's, though, is tasting a burned wick or nasty coil.

I checked out NET.com and ordered Black Cavendish and Chris's Blend, your suggestions helped me decide. I will try Anthony B's Rum Rebellion, Bombay, and Gold another time. Those looked good too. All the Single Varietal Extractions are tempting as well, I have a lot of yummy looking juice to try out! The Chewbacco description sounds good, but the thought of accidentally swallowing some chew turns my stomach.

I got a bottle of Big Spirit for granny too, she has been vaping for about 4 months now. She said she found an old analog while cleaning and tried it (about 2 months in to vaping), and it was so nasty she couldn't finish it. It was hard finding a flavor for her, she likes the cowboy type cig flavors. She used to smoke the cheapest nastiest cigs, all the descriptions on the site sounded like good tobacco, which she hated. She's getting curious about pipe flavors, so I will have to share.

Can anyone explain the extraction methods and why one is chosen over the other?

Looking forward to this order. Do they brew each order up fresh, or just backlogged due to so many orders? Webpage still says it's in process.

I ordered a few juices earlier that day from Mt.Baker and Madvapes (I think), and they are ok. Best I've found in nonNETs so far is with MyFreedomSmokes. Weird thing is happening with my taste buds or something, as most tobacco flavors just taste like cardboard anymore. The tobacco mixed with flavor ones taste like flowers, incense, or piss. I don't taste the tobacco anymore. I hope the NET.com juices will help that.

When I go back to my old favorites I can taste the flavor for a few hits, then back to the cardboard, flower, piss taste. Does anything like this happen to others here? Is it the artificial flavors or something just pooping out?

Possible NET? http://www.innevapestore.com/TNT_E_Cigarette_liquid_p/tnt-the-next-tobacco.htm

"For all the true die hard tobacco lovers. A hand made blend using the extract from fresh natural Virginia cured tobacco leaves."

No mention the source of the extract, whether they make it or buy it, and no mention of type of extraction. They do say "hand made blend" which to me seems like a way to hint at something but could really me a bunch of things.. or nothing.

So whether it's a home brewed maceration or an ingredient bought from another company that uses a different extraction technique, like VR and HHV do, it does look to fit the bill of a NET, as long as the description is true. There's several other blends using the one TNT (the next tobacco) extract alongside fruits and one with menthol.

If it's a decent flavored NET, they offer a couple fruit-bacco hybrids that I've been dreaming of for a while.. strawberry tobacco and mango tobacco. Price isn't bad either, hmmmmmm... need more info.

Could be TA--the "handmade blend" part means nada--but still may be worth a test. Oh, and not all TA is made from Bulgarian tobacco. I still can't find any Flue Cured TA, but that don't mean it's not out there. Do it Yourself (PG, VG, bottles) - Inawera Flavors (scroll down the list). Hell, I like TA! Not saying I think that's what it is, but it looks interesting.

I thought maybe TA too. Isn't there a Chinese company that uses TA made from Virginia; maybe Hangsen?

The only mention of tobacco type in the line is Virginia and the term Blond Virginia is used.... if that points to anything.

Oops. I just realized it was Virginia "cured." Flue Cured can be any number of tobaccos. Yeah, Hangsen and Dekang are up to anything!

Glad that it was not a wasted trip as well. What all did you sample?!

Hello netters .Pulled off my first successful DIY pipe flavor. Wanted something with latakia. Its no Apache but l am pleased with the results. The thing is before I started vaping I'd never even heard of latakia or perique or the difference between air, fire, and flue. I've learned so much on this thread with yalls help. What I want to ask .....is there some other type of tobacco? Something we haven't extracted. Perique only grows on about 16 acres and takes a lot of effort to finish. Is there a flavor out there waiting to be vaped?

Your best bet would be to find a really nice tobacconist and grab some of their own blends and soak those--guaranteed to be the only one vaping that! LOL

Thanks, great tobacco porn. When I started my DIY soak, the smell was so fantastic I had to try a little in a pipe. Awful just awful. I couldn't get past all the smoke. My end product on the other hand tasted almost just like the smell. I'm sure a true pipe smoker would laugh at what I call flavor, but I truly believe that vaping allows a clarity that burning literally clouds.

I've been trying to get my daughter to quit smoking, so I had her sample all of my e-liquids. When we were done, I asked her if she was interested in vaping and she told me yes. Great. I told her to take the bottles she liked and she said, she'd just take the chocolate one.
Need I say which that was?
