If by strong you mean an AWESOME taste, then yes! Patriot is in a class of its own. I don't know what is in it outside of the pipe tobacco, but I do know that it is a hybrid. Vita Bella is also a hybrid, but Patriot only really tastes like Patriot. Patriot is in my top 10 juices of all time.

WARNING: Eleanor do not read any further!

I just told Scarf, but I taste-tested GJ4, Patriot, Vita Bella, and Acadian after a 48 hour cap-off steep. I hope I'm having the Lt. Col. Killjoy Effect, because I cannot vape wet-dog!

I'm sure they'll find their groove in a week or two. :)

Well, I vaped NP and VB and can say with certainty that the flavor of 7-day old and 21 day old resulted in two complety different juices. I'm not opining whether you will like them more or less, but they were quite different with proper steeping.

I will guarantee that I will like them better after a proper steep. Unless they turn into wet skunk!

If you're ever hard up for a "like" just tell people you like to steep. You're sure to get a "like" from Ms Eleanor. Jokes aside, I think Ms Eleanor has been down the learning curve a lot more than the rest of us when it comes to steeping. She's opened up my eyes on it. Nice to have expertise in different areas from different people.

Wet-dog... nice one, AX! I was pretty thrown off by GeJ's when I first got em. I had only tried HHV prior to getting them (and only had Halo Tribeca and Torque56 prior to that ). I though I knew what to expect from GeJ, but they were not what I imagined. It definitely took a few sessions, but once I figured out what they're all about, they grew on me with the quickness. I have GJ4, VB, Organic#1 and Nat.Perique.

ps - I found the cinnamon note you were talking in about in House Blend the other day. ;) I loaded up a ce3 with Apple House Blend today... and every few puffs I got a slight kick of that same spice that is so prevalent to me in Smooth Criminal. It's really nice in this juice though... it's not as distracting and it really compliments the Apple. I have a feeling this new Maple HB from Ahlusion is gonna be a winner too!

Bronze, my Vita Bella has been steeping for 2 weeks now. It's really changed a lot. Some of the subtle flavors are becoming more pronounced... but they still remain mysterious! What a smooth juice... definitely getting better! On the other hand, Natural Perique hasn't changed much to me. Maybe it's because it out-of-season as Mann suggested. Either way, I love that one too.

By the way - I think I'm gonna get a Quicknic sample pack. Can I expect the same quality that I got from GeJ? Are there any similarities between the two, in your opinion? I noticed you said some of them are/were neighborhood friends.

Yes, I think the quality of the NETS from GeJ and QNJ are on par. They both have that strong tobacco component. To be sure, QeJ has more NET offerings than QNJ and would make a better supplier if the "raw" NETS are something you're into.. The two QNJ that I connected with are Grandpa's Night Cap and Habana Daydream. I prefered them over GeJ not because I thought they had more quality but because they were milder. Milder just happens to fit my profile better. QNJ announced they were releasing two new NETS but that has been a good month now and we still have not seen them. I asked on their thread if they had any updates but have not heard back.

I knew you'd like that one Mann. ;)

A huge congrats, by the way, on the yet-to-arrive bundle of joy! I think you'll be thrilled regardless of the outcome today.

ps - check your pm's if you haven't yet, I sent you 2 different responses regarding the music stuff.

Nick, I tried six juices from QNJ. Gramps and Habana Daydream which are both reorderable. I also tried their RY4 and quatRo whY 4 and Enigma and Original Tobacco. While I thought these last four were all quality juice, they simply did not fit my profile. I'm not into RY4's or dessert vapes (Enigma). See my review if you give a care....

Ok, so it seems there's a lot of NUT going on with the QNJ's. That scares me a bit, becuase the only nutty juice I've had is HHV Heavenly Tobacco. Now I don't know for sure if nut was what I was tasting or if it was just their version of caramel, but I didn't really dig it. Do any of the QNJ's have a similar vibe to Heavenly Tobacco, Bronze? I'm just trying to gauge my tastebuds against yours to see if I should pass on the ones you described as nutty. I'm still leaning toward our why quatro, along with the other 3 I mentioned above.

Yes. You and I are alike in this respect I don't care for nut or Heavenly Tobacco either. QNJ's Original Tobacco and RY4 are nutty. So if you don't like nut flavor, then skip these two. The Quatro version is less nutty and more sweet but still has nut notes. I don't mind nut as a flavor shaper but do not like it as the primary flavor. Enigma is a classy dessert vape with no nut flavor...not my thing either. The two NETs were awesome (for me) with no nut whatsoever. Gramps and HD are in the same vein as GeJ...just a bit milder and more "traditional".

Got it. Thanks so much Bronze. I'm gonna go with our why quatro for the last of the samples. I can stand a little bit of nuttiness, as I think I detect in Vita Bella, but not much more than that. I was pretty much forced to finish off my bottle of Heavenly a few weeks back, as I had ran out of everything else and other orders were steeping.... it was NOT a pretty sight!!

Understood. I didn't get much nut out of VB. I got kind of a vanilly punch from that (once it was well steeped).

Yeah, that's interesting wit the vanilla. When I first talked about it a few pages back, I said something like - you wanna say vanilla but you know it's not. It was so far in the background that it seemed like Nick only put in a single molecule just to play tricks on you mind. Now, 10 days or so later, I am almost positive I'm catching the vanilla. Still, not quite 100% sure yet though. ;)

qu4tro reminded me of GJ4 except not as good.

hmmm. I know you loves you some gj4, gt! Me too. Having Nick send me an oil tanker-full this weekend. :) I've never had anything fire-cured, so I figure ourwhy4 and Fired in GA will be a nice intro to it. The description for ourwhy4 says it a fire-cured, mixed with their vanilla tobacco. I'm interested. Thanks guys
