Yeah, that's interesting wit the vanilla. When I first talked about it a few pages back, I said something like - you wanna say vanilla but you know it's not. It was so far in the background that it seemed like Nick only put in a single molecule just to play tricks on you mind. Now, 10 days or so later, I am almost positive I'm catching the vanilla. Still, not quite 100% sure yet though. ;)

Nick, as far as you tasting cinnamon in SC, I thought you were reaching; but as far as VB, you are on the one! Ya' dig? You are in the pocket my low-end brutha.

Yeah, y'know, after getting smacked around a bit :) I realized I need to be careful about how I present my findings. I vaped a full ce4 of SC that night, and convinced my brain to stop telling me, "cinnamon"! Once I got past that (half way thru the tank) I was able to appreciate the juice for what it was. Not sayin I love it, but I understand it.

So loaded up vita bella again (24 days steeped, wasn't meaning to just ended up sitting after trying the first time), this has now become tied with Wrangler Lite, great tobacco taste and the sweetness very much mellowed out for me. There's two 30 mls. I am picking up now (along with patriot and fired cured 12 mls.), gonna give Arcadian Gold a go tomorrow or so and see how the final review for myself is.

I still think it is quite young. I did not appreciate it at all for the first month or so. Of course now I think it is much stronger and bold than some hybrid NET. The thing about SC is before it reaches that appropriate age (as with most juices) you just can't imagine how it will mature. It is, maybe, one of the absolute cleanest NETs out there.

p.s. While it is an NET, it is more along the lines of a VB (a hybrid) than an FC or something straight-up no chaser.

Hey all :toast:

I have been tracking this thread for the last month, and have actually read every post, haha… Figured it was about time I contributed. I will keep this post to the point, NET reviews… But also figure that I can get to know, and joke with you guys in the coming days, posts, threads, future, etc.

Basically I am going to cut and paste from a Word doc that contains all of my NET and other tobacco related notes… But first a little background. All of the juices that I have tasted were steeped for at least 2 weeks or more prior to recording my subjective thoughts. They were all tasted on a 2.0 ohm atty at between 6-8 watts to try and experience a range of flavors. Also, if they are on this list, I liked them and would potentially buy more (i.e. the misfire orders are not included, but noted to self elsewhere)… I suck at the number rating thing. So here goes…

NET Juice Notes (including other tobacco flavor juices):

  • Smooth, but dry mouth feel
  • Strong sugary sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base

Virginia (Yellow)
  • Tangy fruit notes
  • Smooth mouth feel, with some tobacco dryness
  • Strong sugary sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base

Other tobacco flavors:

Applewood- Extracted base with flavors? (Amber to Brown)
  • Red apple flavor
  • Smoky and woody notes
  • Smooth mouth feel
  • Mild sugary sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base

Honey Flue Nut - Extracted base with flavors? (Yellow)
  • Strong honey flavor
  • Nutty notes
  • Woody notes
  • Smooth mouth feel
  • Sugary/honey sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base

Heather's Heavenly Vapes - Purity Series
Aromatic, Cavendish pipe tobaccos

Dark Horse (Yellow)
  • Strong Cherry flavor

  • Sugary, raisin-like sweetness
  • Heavier tobacco base

  • Mild tobacco base

Gandalf #2 (Amber)
  • Subtle vanilla flavor
  • Nutty notes
  • Cocoa notes
  • Medium Cherry flavor
  • Silky texture
  • Creamy sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base

Huntsman (Yellow to amber)
  • Mild cherry flavor
  • Cocoa notes
  • Dryer mouth feel, only lightly silky
  • More of a sugary sweetness, less creamy
  • Mild tobacco base

Oompa (Amber)
  • Milk chocolate flavor
  • Nutty notes (hazelnut?)
  • Silky texture
  • Creamy sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base

Pirates Booty (Amber)
  • Sweet vanilla flavor
  • Rum spice notes
  • Silky texture
  • Creamy sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base

Serendipity (Amber)
  • Subtle vanilla flavor
  • Nutty notes (Walnut?)
  • Cocoa notes
  • Subtle cherry flavor
  • Less silky texture than Gandalf #2
  • Creamy sweetness, but a bit more tobacco sugary than Gandalf #2
  • Mild tobacco base, but a touch heavier than Gandalf #2

Shadow Fax (Amber)
  • Sweet vanilla flavor
  • Silky texture
  • Creamy sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base

Other tobacco flavors:

Georgia Peach Tobacco
  • Bright, sour peach flavor
  • Smooth texture
  • Sugary sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base flavor

Heavenly tobacco (RY4 variant)
  • Carmel, nutty & vanilla flavors
  • Silky texture
  • Creamy sweetness
  • Mild tobacco base flavor

Want2Vape
Raw tobacco (Cigar – Aromatic as noted)

Alcazar(Amber to Brown)
  • Connecticut Maduro wrapper with medium Nicaraguan filler
  • Very dry, true tobacco mouth feel
  • Dark tobacco sweetness
  • Heavy tobacco taste

Blondie (Amber to Brown)
  • Connecticut shade grown Claro wrapper with mild Nicaraguan filler
  • Herb and flavor infused (140 flavors infused, sandalwood notes, etc.) - Like walking through an herb garden and then smelling your pant legs
  • Dry, true tobacco mouth feel
  • Light tobacco sweetness
  • Light tobacco taste

Cold Infusion (Amber to Brown)
  • Connecticut shade grown Claro wrapper with mild Nicaraguan filler
  • Herb and flavor infused (Peach, pine, green tea, etc.) - Like smelling a bottle of gin
  • Dry, true tobacco mouth feel
  • Light tobacco sweetness
  • Light tobacco taste

Red Pirate (Amber to Brown)
  • Red Man chew flavor
  • Woody, pine smoke notes
  • Dry, true tobacco mouth feel
  • Light sugary sweetness
  • Medium tobacco taste

Tabak Especial (Brown)
  • Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper with mild to medium Nicaraguan filler
  • Aromatic coffee flavor
  • Cocoa notes
  • Dry but velvety, true tobacco mouth feel
  • Dark tobacco sweetness
  • Heavy tobacco taste

That’s all I got so far… I am still adding notes as I get to know these juices better, and of course this is totally subjective and based on the opinion of my tongue/nose … Especially considering that NETs are unlike standard juices, due to the fact that tobacco carries many subtle nuances and notes with it that you don’t find in other flavorings. Next on the list are GoodeJuice and Ahlusion, and anything else you guys throw out there that sounds good.

Huge thanks to everyone that has contributed to this thread… You were a big help in my quitting process, and I have now been clean for over a month and a half. I knew I would never be able to do it with desserts and sweets, but I quickly found out that most pseudo-tobacco flavors might actually be even worse. Some of the tobacco flavors are good, but not any of the ones that tried to be straight tobacco; at least that I have tried… Only the ones that were flavors on top of a tobacco flavored base were any good.

Peace,
SkinniePost

P.S. Hopefully I didn't totally mix up my reviews, because reformatting from Word to BBC is a PIA...

Sidenote: Here are a few other things I am interested in other than vaping… Architecture, micro-brewed beers (hops are my friend) and single malt scotch (especially coastal or islay), home roasted coffee, and the great outdoors. And most importantly kicking it with my 2 year old daughter who was my inspiration to quit smoking ;)

Addendum: For clarification... Flavor in my notes means that it was probably a flavoring added to the tobacco prior to extraction, i.e. a lot of cavendish pipe tobacco, and notes mean it tasted like it might have been a flavor that naturally occurred in the tobacco.

Actually I lived in Farmington Hills between 2003 and 2007... And went to school in Ann Arbor. So you just needed to look harder, hehe.

Speaking my travels... I have lived in New Jersey, Western New York (Finger Lakes area), Long Island, Southern Connecticut, Michigan, Chicago and Rockford (IL), Milwaukee and now Madison. So I have probably been around a bunch of you at some point... And have set foot in every state that doesn't start with an AL?

No problem, was hoping to make a splash ;)

Now if only I could have had a pair of Aces in that hand, like a new taste you guys had not already tried... Then that would have been real winner.
