While the flavor they provide is terrific, CE3s have been a bit sketchy for me, with a higher incidence of leaking than I like (and yes, I know how to fill them, upside down with a bit of air space left).

Bill, I've been using CE3's for awhile now. If I fill my CE3's up with a "little air space" left, I get leaks. When I fill them completely, I never get leaks. I know this runs contrary to the crappy instructions, but it works for me. I give the syringe light, steady pressure until it gives back resisitance. Then I know it's full.

I was told to always fill them completely full, which I've always done, and I've never had a leak.

I've seen people say to leave a little space on top. The little instruction card says' In case of leaking, don't add liquid higher than the yellow line"..and the yellow line comes up short of full. Lord Davon (in his PBC review) got it right and said to fill them completely. I forgot where Steeljan said to fill them. She kinda makes me crazy so I don't pay attention to her a lot. "And it doesn't leak! No leaks! No leaks! No leaks! No leaks! No leaks! Throw away your tissues. No leaks! No leaks! No leaks!" Ok Jan, I get it. :)

Thanks, folks.

I figured the leaking must be some weird pressurization problem with the three or four CE3s that went wonky on me (by the way, those few were fine initially after filling and blowing out; they leaked later, only after I'd vaped them some and then put them down---I'd come back after awhile and find that they had leaked half or more of their 1.3ml contents through the connector tube onto the PV, almost as if the juice had been siphoned out).

From now on, I'll fill my CE3s to the top until I get a little pushback on the syringe.

CE3s are great for resuscitating my eGo batteries, since they seem to love 3.7-4.0 volts, but nothing higher than that.

Hey, does anyone have any steeping opinions regarding quick nic's NET's? My samples are out for delivery and and I'm wondering how good they are out of the box. Is there a low enough alcohol content that I don't necessarily need to give em 48 hours with the caps off? Just curious (and a little restless today).

I took my caps off and recapped in a couple days and let them steep an additional six days (8 days total from receipt) and they changed quite considerably (especially Grandpa's Night Cap). And they both changed for the better. Let us know how you like them. I enjoy both of them...especially Gramps.

Ah, I guess I'll wait then, since my Fairie Godfather is apparently on the way bearing Manna from Heaven. Get it? Manna from Heaven? Manna-Mann. Nudge-nudge, wink-wink. LOL.

Bible joke! I thought that was my area of expertise.............."manna" literally means in Hebrew "What is it?" It's a good thing that Mann contacts vendors about their product so most of our eliquid isn't manna.

LOL. Yes, luce, you're the scholar. I didn't even think about the Bible when I wrote that reference---I just grabbed it from my bag of cultural clichés and other vaudeville jokes. Nice to learn the technical meaning of manna. I think that about Mr. Mann already: What is he, anyway? :p

I am going to place a order for next months supply in the coming week or so... And I am looking for some recommendations. I am for sure getting a heavy order from GeJ, but will get stuff from a few other places. The only caveat is that it should taste like straight tobacco, not flavored tobacco, and of course be a NET ;)

I love the stuff I have from W2V and HHV, but the difference between the two is dramatic. Here is an analogy coming from an avid coffee drinker who home-roast his own single origin coffee. W2V is like a cup of full city roast coffee out of a french press, and HHV is like a vanilla latte or mocha cappuccino... They are both good in their own right, but I only drink a flavored latte/cappuccino at certain times, while I drink coffee all the time. Both of them can be great, if made with good, well roasted beans... And both have coffee (NET) as the main ingredient, but one taste like only coffee, and in the other the coffee plays a second fiddle to the creamy, sweet, frothed milk and flavoring... Hopefully that makes sense?

It sounds like BGB and DD from Ahlusion might fit the bill as well, but I don't see that happening for my December juice order, so those will have to wait until they get their ship fully staffed. Other places I am considering are Vaperite and Highbrow... Along with restocking my current W2V stuff (along with getting some London Blend and Managua).

Thank goodness for this great thread...

P.S. Has anyone found another vendor other than Ahlusion that makes NETeas? I am looking forward to trying some of the ones from Ahlusion (with and without the fruit & flavor additions), and think they are potential another avenue in the vaping cityscape that will offer a complexity of flavor without a complexity of ingredients, if you get what I am saying...

Sidenote: My baking soda and citric acid experiment seems to be working awesome. I have run two test so far, and the third will be on a clearo that has had 5ml of W2V Tabak run thru it, so that should be the proving grounds, so to speak, muahaha. So far after each cleaning, the clearo wick & coils have only need two 3 second bursts of dry burning to fully light up, which means there was nothing on them to even burn off :)

Scholar? Not even remotely! I just have a Bachelor's in Christian Ministry and love helping others in their journey to quit tobacco.

Vaperite has a naturally flavored Earl Grey. That would be from the exact thing. Highbrow has Green Tea and Chai Tea which would be naturally extracted as well

I appreciate these reports, Scarf! Keep em comin. It seems you're really diggin on The Plume Room's NET offerings. I'm definitely gonna have to try them. Have you tried the Honey Fig?

I'm very interested in the t3's too, as they seem to be the big brother of ce3's. Out of all the clearos I've tried so far, ce3's are the most satisfying to me. The Nova Mini and CE4/Stardusts just aren't doing it for me. I think I've narrowed it down to a general theme: "gimme the least amount of wick possible," as they just seem to get in the way. I'll have to order some T3's today, it seems like they're living up to the hype.

I am loving The Plume Room. Honey Fig is battling for second place with Ramaglia's Toscano. It is definitely figgy and honeyish with a nice pop of tobacco. Candied Cavendish is still at the top though. I could vape this all day, if I were inclined to vape anything all day, which I'm not :) I think a repeat purchase if she has any Black Friday coupons is a distinct possibility.

Strange about the T3 though: After I posted that last comment, I had given it a quick rinse to get the Twisted Tobacco out completely before I put the Red Pirate in. Maybe I got some water where I shouldn't have but now it is making a "squeaky" noise and giving a little bit of gurgle. I shall have to ask for cleaning advice. Still works though, and the Pirate is as yummy as it ever was. 1ml down, 1 to go.

Update on Berry Blues: This juice has become so dadgum imbued with the taste of cognac I can't believe it. There is NO toying around with the flavor or attempt at making the cognac another thing than what it is. The "berry" in berry blues is a bit creamy and just ever so slightly sweet (more of a sweet aroma than taste). The juice as a whole is like satin, but don't get it twisted, it IS cognac.

(edit) oops..wrong thread.
