Screwing in the coil was the only part I found hard lol. Didn't help that the screwdriver I had was too big for the job, and I didn't leave enough coil to easily wrap around the screw. Wrapping the wick was surprisingly easy. If I can do it, so can you Scarf, I'm impressively mechanically inept.

Yeah everyone says that. "If I can do it so can you"

So if I do get into this I'll need a multimeter, the wick and coil materials, and what else? Jeweler's screwdrivers?

Vapeking has an AGA-W for $28. I'm perilously close to pulling the trigger.

Depends on the rba whether you need a small screwdriver. You have a VAMO if I remember right? Then you won't need a multimeter since it can read the ohms. You'll need Kanthal A-1 wire which comes in different gauges. I got 32awg, seems that's common. So is 28awg and 30awg. Wouldn't hurt to get a few different gauges, wire is really cheap. If you use silica wick you can get different sizes too, 2mm, 3mm etc. If you use SS mesh you'll also need a torch to oxidize it. A lot of research should be done, videos and the RAS forum here at ecf is what I used.

Personally, I suggest reading up on it before deciding on what RBA to get. Then you'll also know what supplies you'll need. I think they mainly fall into tank or dripping style. Steep learning curve, I feel like a newbie all over again trying to learn this stuff. Good news is once you get it working for you the RBA lasts a lifetime and changing coils is dirt cheap. Wire and wick you can get locally so that's a plus for you.

And I promise, the curve comes much more from the learning than the actual doing. I really was surprised at how easy it was to make a good coil, the one pictured was my second try. First try turned out pretty ugly, but I got a good laugh from it. That's using silica wick though, I think SS mesh takes more practice.

Let it be known that on this day I just ordered two rebuildable atomizers: one Phoenix-style and one Genesis-style, both from Vapingmad.com.au.

I hope I don't regret this.

Oh yeah and don't bother with a torch, just get a torch style lighter from the gas station $6 and a can of butane $2. Done, works fine or if you have a gas stove that works fine as well. 30 gauge kanthal is all you need. 28 and 32 work but 30 is the sweet spot.

Can anyone confirm or deny which, if any, of the VR juices are NETs? I saw Eleanor say the Kentucky Premiums were, but I can't find where it says that on the website.

Yep, the Premium/Kentucky and the Poker Blends are. I had to contact Dave to get some clarity on this. As to why it is not mentioned on the site? Your guess is as good as mine.

I've been trying the Poker blends for a week now. Since my mod has been broken for a few days (I finally fixed it yesterday successfully) I'll put up some thoughts. Oh, the new Savage from My Vape Juice is pretty freaking good too. That is all. I eagerly await my Ahlusion order of Honey Cured, Caribbean, Maple Burley, Vurley, Smokin' Cherries, and fave tea Yerba Mate. All praise Wlad and Alley.
