Hey Nick, I watched a video last night by pbusardo that had to do with the new jazz cartopipes. It was a long vid, almost 40 mins, but pretty good. The new pipes feature a LONGGG stem and a new tank design, but $65 for just that part. New pipe bodies that designed for a kick, using 18500 batts or 18350 batts with the kick. And a new "Crown" that works like a kick but can be adjusted with the power button and audio feedback. Very interesting stuff. The new button on the cartopipe is bigger and more comfortabe too. At over $200 for everything it's past my budget at the moment though.

The Crown looks (and sounds) a little weird to me, but a Jazz (or an Isis) is worth every penny, in my humble opinion!

Here's my preferred set-up these days - a Kicked Jazz with a GG Penelope.

Yeah, I saw that new Jazz video Phil did. Not sure how I feel about the crown, yet. And, yes, all the extras really add up to make it a huge investment. I was lucky to find my Jazz on the classies for $80. KILLER deal, from a fellow Ahlusionite. Romaniac (aka Alex at GA Tech) offers several customizations on his pipes as well. There's a thread in the modders forum that is definitely worth checking out if you're going to take the leap.

By the way - I was vaping Fire Cured in my A7 rebuildable today, and I have to concur with your findings regarding the similarities between FC and VA Prime. Fire Cured is a totally different juice in the A7. It seems to bring out that toasty flue-cured a lot more than what I was getting in the 510. It's making me second guess my statement that VA Prime will be a definite reorder. If I can vape Fire Cured in the A7 and have something very similar to VA Prime, and also vape it on the 510 to get the juice that I originally adored - I'm all for it. Two-in-one, and it's great both ways. I'm really glad you pointed this out. I'm going to do some comparisons tonight.

I don't think I've even tried FC in a 510 yet. Since I've been vaping GeJ so heavily in my RBA rotation lately they haven't made the rounds to other atties yet. So far I can say that in my Fatty clone with silica wick, FC is very toasty and fresh VA Prime has the same level as 2+ month old FC. The only differences between the two being subtle, with a little more sweetness to VP and some different flavor notes. Keep in mind, this is just me remembering from a fairly short session yesterday so it's still just very early impressions.

I woke up today craving graham crackers, so I've been vaping Boba's in my RBA since. Looking forward to getting into my new Toros in a 901 later.

This is great, Calam. We will continue to try to steer you in the right direction. I honestly was never a pipe smoker, but I am now, ;) after finding all these wonderful natural tobacco vapes.

Eq2kjyX.jpg

Having the e-pipe might really help you connect as well. If you're interested, the above pipe is a Jazz Cartopipe. You can screw a regular 510 carto into the shaft, plug the mouthpiece in and vape away. The above picture has a rebuildable atomizer screwed onto a carto-sized 510 extender, with a 510 mouthpiece on top. It's a little different that what it was originally designed for, but you get the idea. Here's the site - http://jazzepipe.com/

As you said, it's bound to take some time, but it can be done! Keep us posted. I'll try to gather up a list of 10 juices that might do the trick for you. I'm almost even tempted to go buy some Carter Hall and have a few puffs just to see what it is that you're looking for. Maybe

I have looked into E-Pipes before, and while they look beautiful, I cannot afford them. On top of that, as a pipe-smoker, I have already spent into the multiple hundreds of dollars on pipes and tobacco-- which I still have-- so I'm trying to keep my spending finger on hold for vaping.

I just want to find 1-3 good juices that work in my current V2 setup, and I'll be happy. As a side-note, the more I smoke London Blend, the less I like it... I mean it's not bad, it's really really not. It's just too meaty. It's like a pure latakia blend or something. The taste of the tobacco is spot on, it's just out of balance (to me).

Do y'all do trades here on this forum? Cause I have about 5 ml of London Blend to trade... :)

And I don't know if you're a pipe smoker or not, or if you've quit (not trying to get you back on it if you have), but if not, Carter Hall is a great tobacco to try. Very mild, warm, gentle. Just don't inhale. :p

Nick from GeJ replied to my query about how the apple is incorporated in Apple Cured. He said the tobacco is steeped WITH the organic apple flavoring.

Tried Fire-Cured and Virgina Prime in my 901 atty. I liked them a lot better in the RBA. Eden is about the same in both. Puros, however, is much improved to me in the 901, and I'll do a first impression of it shortly.

First impression: Puros Naturales

This one had the strongest smell of the El Toros, a scent I really liked and got my hopes up for. Trying it in my RBA last night changed my tune. It's really, really nutty, and the nut flavor overwhelms everything else. I've never had a Cuban cigar, so I don't know how much they taste like this liquid. It doesn't taste like any tobacco I've, and it played more like a straight nut vape than a tobacco vape. I also have had a lot more pipe, cigarette, and single leaf NETs than cigar, so my experience with cigar vapes is pretty limited.

Vaping it last night wasn't something I enjoyed. Pretty quick I decided to send it to the steep box. While Cigarrillos I have steeping in hopes it grows in flavor, this one I want the nut notes to mellow and more tobacco notes to come forward. If it didn't change with aging I would have given it several ml to see if it's an acquired taste or if it would grow on me. I still had several drops in my RBA when I added a synthetic RY4 to it, which turned out really good, so worse case would have been it would be good for Frankenjuicing to add a nut flavor to liquid.

Today I tried it in a 901 atty and it's improved considerably for me. The 24mg throat hit is tamed a bit, and the nut flavor isn't overwhelming. It's still mainly a nut flavored tobacco, but I can vape it. Since that's the case, the 2+week sentence I gave it turned into only 24 hours in the hole and I transfered it into a clear plastic dripping bottle. It's apple juice in color, lighter than VA Prime and darker than Eden. While I CAN vape it, it's not something I really WANT to vape yet. It's a new flavor experience for me so I'll give it time to see if I aquire a taste for it. If not it will be degraded to Frankenjuice status or used in a carto for on the go, mindless vaping.

The funny thing is, I asked him for an apple aromatic and he made Vurley for me! No complaints when push comes to shove. I sometimes think he knows me better than I know myself! Of course it wouldn't hurt if someone else asked for an apple aromatic... that's probably what I'd most like to see from him at this point. GeJ's Apple Cured is as close to what I'm looking for as I've found, but still doesn't quite cut it for me.

You know, on a certain other forum there's a certain contest in which you can vote for a certain apple tobacco. Just sayin'.

Jerms, I think Cigarillos is even nuttier than Puros, almost 555-like. The thing that knocks me over about Puros is the throat kick it has. It is absolutely the best and rawest throat hit of any tobacco juice I've tried besides Devil Dog and BGB. It is truly my cigarette craving kiler. And yes, I do still get cravings after 14 tobacco-less months.

Glad to read your take Scarf. I had to try Cigarrillos again after reading this. I've been doing the cap off for about 10 mins and shake well daily with these. After just a few days I'm getting a lot more flavor from Cigarrillos than I was getting first trying it. Other factors may be involved, but I think it's ready to go. Yes, definately getting some nuttiness here. It's a lot more accesible to me than Puros though.

One thing I have to admit, when I'm describing nuttiness it's from the perspective of someone with very little experience with nutty notes in ejuice. I can't even remember the last time I had a 555, well over a year ago. I find Puros extemely nutty, but there may be a more accurate word to describe it. Either way, it's a very challenging juice for me, which could turn out good or bad.

Yes, throat hit, huge. Huge TH is something I usually don't want, but sometimes really crave. I'm glad it's working ok for me in my 901. As much as I love that atty, at the end of a vape heavy day it needs a heavy hitter to satisfy. Lately that's been just about any Ahlusion juice, now this one will work too.

Aww, thanks Jerms. It's nice to be liked. As well as "liked". :)

BTW I have a giant Ahlusion order incoming including full-sized bottles of Vurley, Honey Cured, Maple River Tree and Maple Burley, plus half-bottles of Caribbean and Georgia Peach. And a heap of non-'baccos too.

It's just a small thing, but I'm pretty happy this option is available through tapatalk now. Sometimes I'll read a great post but have nothing to add, so before I would just send a mental "like". Mental "likes" are no small task, major headaches occured reading great threads. Now I can also see if someone "likes" a post if mine and wonder; do they just "like" me, or do they "like" like me. :D

Nice Ahl order. Didn't realise the peach aro was available yet, I'll get that along with Smokin' Cherries.

Haha. You two are crackin me up. I always wondered why you never liked anything Jerms! I thought it might just be an 'I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea' kinda thing. Good to know, and I look forward to some potential future likes. :)

Speaking of like. I really like GeJ's Apple Cured. Waaaay more than I like Eden. Eden isn't bad, it just confuses me, which is not likable. The sour apple of AC getting quite tasty, and it has that familiar and comforting GeJ tobacco signature. Delicious! I also like that you inquired about Nick's formula for this, Jerms. Good on ya, and thanks!

I haven't vaped Puros or 'rillos in a few days now, because I've been on a 'Fire Cured vs VA Prime/I just got some Vurley back in my stash' kick. I will get to these again before the week is over. Once Friday comes, it's all Sweet GA Peach and Devil Dog! Yes. This I like. A lot.

 I'm all over the place. G'night. Outtie. Mañana, my likable comrades.

I must agree the few times I've actually used a comp to go on ecf and my profile would show hundreds of likes received and only a few given I couldn't help but feel a bit guilty. I'm glad tapatalk finally updated this. I will be sending out a plethora of likes from here on out:)

Interesting observation considering all of the talk about the HoL liquids in different JDS. I've been vaping Patriot almost exclusively out of a AgA-t2 since I got it in the mail a few weeks ago and it has been blowing my mind how good it is and how much more flavor it has than other GeJ flavors. Well I'm down to my last drops and tonight when I left the house I put what I had in little 3ml squonker and took it on the road. I went to drip some in my phoenix which is the JDS I use the most and what do you know....... Practically no flavor! I was baffled by this. My only guess is that the AGA provides much better flavor. When I get smaller bottles for sampling I only drip them since they are a smaller quantities and whatever I order 30mls of is what input in my genny's. I'm now thinking that there is a possibility that some juices Ive been testing have not realized their full potential due to this. On one hand I'm a little worried about my findings and on the other I'm excited to try some juices which previously have only been dripped in a genny tank!

Yeah Nick, we like to tell our selves that "likes" don't mean anything but in this format they do mean something. I'm not saying that I think I've received less "likes" than I've deserved but I do believe that I have given less likes than what have been deserved.

TCP, sometimes, especially if I've been using a big bottle, the last couple ml don't taste as good for me. I attribute this to the fact I often drip without shaking the bottle up first, so the last drops may be lacking some of the flavoring. It very well could be your JDS though. I've never used a Phoenix or a AGA. From what I've read in the RAS section though, many have said that dripping and tank RBAs produce similar results for people flavor-wise, it's all depending on the wick and coil. Often, drippers are given the slight edge in flavor. Either way, like I've said before, the same juice in even the same brand of atty can produce two different results, good reason not to judge a juice based on 1 JDS.
