I tried two more El Toros tonight....Virginia Prime in the AGA and Eden in the Phoenix.
Virginia is strangely nondescript compared to others in this line. I find it a softer and sweeter tobacco than, say, Cigarillos. Not a bad thing mind you, and as it happens I was in the mood for something gentler tonight. I have to say though that something about the aroma of it reminds me of cooked rice
. This could totally be my own mishegoss because I'm getting over a cold.
Eden is probably the best apple tobacco I've yet tried. I like it way better than GEJ's version which was too spicy/cinnamonny for me, and marginally better than HHV's Caramel Apple. The flavor is a cooked slightly sour apple, placed against the backdrop of the high-keyed crisp Puros flavor, and HOLY BEJEEBUS did I just refill that for a third time? That never happens.

Oddly enough, now that you say that (I'm comparing it in an IGO and an EM 510 right now), I'm picking up on that as well in my IGO-L. HiLARious! ACK!! In an RBA, VP really becomes a very different juice. I will stay with the 510 and remain convinced that it's fresh-baked bread!
