I'm holding off on the Wench for now. Loaded up my other MVJ juices yesterday and I'm liking them better than I did initially. My Hero, MH Vanilla, and Rogue are pretty decent. You tried the My Hero B&B yet?

Not yet, I'll plan a first date with it tomorrow. I'm on a first date with Serenity tonight with my IGO-L that came in today. This thing holds a lot of juice compared to the IGO-S, not sure that's a plus for me, but the juice well is nice to get my silica set-up all pretty in there. As much as I switch juice I'll probably use the IGO-S and a small wick more.

Just a warning... I order mine with menthol... :D

Yeah you should knock that off :p

Heads up; MVJ has released two Wicked Wench flavors, butterscotch and maple brown sugar. Somebody buy them, hate them, and send them to me please.

I have all three MVJ Wicked Wench extract versions: Original, Banging Butterscotch, and Maple Brown Sugar. Just got 'em in the mail today. Haven't mixed up any DIY juice from the extracts yet, but I will immediately after posting this. Following suitable steeping time (I'll try for a week, but odds are slim that I'll be able to wait that long), I'll report back and review each of the three.

So far, Diane's done a curious kind of flippo/reversal on the juice names. From the connotations of the names alone, we'd expect that Rogue would be rougher than My Hero, that Savage would be most intense of all, and that Country Squire would be the smoothest and most refined. Not so. I don't have Country Squire (yet), but I hear tell from posts I've read that it's the boldest and most potent. Then comes My Hero, which is rough-and-ready. Rogue is smoother than My Hero, and Savage is the most subtle of the four.

I have no idea where Wicked Wench fits in that scheme. Sexiest, maybe? Most prurient? I'll find out.

I re-ordered MVJ, Savage, Rogue and Country Squire - all original except this time I did get them w/menthol since that is what I'm after ultimately for this type of juice...

I also got HHV's Legend and Serendipity on order... not mentholated ... My sample size of Legend is down to @1ml and I haven't tried Seren.

Looks like I need to get a bunch of 3ml bottles so I can pass out some samples to a few friends of the non-menthol versions I've got so far... They will have to wait since my main source is out and the others I know of are a bit higher priced.

Ha! Y'all are a mess today. :)

I have some MVJ arriving tomorrow. Wench, Rogue and Squire. Also some Maple Wench (i thought I gave up on maple tobaccos! Apparently not :) Comin at ya if I don't like it, Jerms.) I wanted the boldest selections because the samples I had (Hero, Savage, Rogue) were rather mild. I was not a fan at first, but after revisiting them this weekend, I was liking them pretty good. Looking forward to getting them in the rotation. Steep schmeep.

While I have few minutes to myself, in the wee hours... :)

I just want to thank everyone who participates on this thread. Thank you all so much! I have been following along faithfully, and I feel I am getting the best Netucation available! (I am So enjoying purchasing the "course materials too!). You are all so knowledgeable, and able to express so concisely, the attributes that makes a NET shine for you. You have all added so much to my enjoyment of vaping! (and believe me when I say, I need all the help staying off smokes, I can get.)

I have purchased now, from many of the vendors mentioned in this thread. I had never even given MOV a thought, for instance, and now I will not be without their juice. Ever. My last MOV order was for two of their 15ml samplers. I knew just what I needed, but there was one more of their Gold Label NETs I was dying to try, though I couldn't squeeze the extra bottle into my budget just then... I humbled myself, and requested a small sample. MOV kindly included a nice glass vile of Southern Gentleman. I am in LOVE! Now I can not wait to reorder. I vaped through that sample that same day I got it. Dripped slowly and savored every last drop.

I have been needing to express my appreciation for this thread, and all of you who keep it so informative, and rolling along. In my humble opinion, this is the best thread currently available on this topic. I hope they sticky this one. This is a keeper!
Thank you, and good night!

Hope that maple one doesn't work out for ya Nick ;) Those MVJ NETs seem to be creepers for a lot of people, they seem just ok at first but sneak their way into the heart. Part of it is I think even though they don't make big changes of flavor as they age they do seem to improve steadily with time. There's also a simplicity to the single-leaf ones that doesn't wow at first but gets appreciated over time.

Pardonme, nice post! I don't even remember why I started reading this thread when I was just a lurker, wasn't that big in tobaccos, but after trying the suggested NETs I was hooked. I got a good education from lot of knowledgable people, finding this thread made the juice part of the hobby way more enjoyable.

@ scarf-ace: Your very welcome! :)

Jerms, hard to believe you just got into tobaccos! You have a real talent for writing, particularly on this topic. It was actually your mention of Apache, I believe, that moved me to try it, along with Sunday Morning and a few others.

I have been unusually successful, in ordering new product I find in this thread. Before I found this thread, on average, maybe one, out of every four new vendors I tried, had juice I liked. So frustrating to read a lot of positive reviews, anticipate your order and then not like the juice at all! I think what is missing in the average juice reviews, is a composite of the reviewer's personal taste. On this thread, you all go so over many characteristics of juices you have liked/or not, historically, and why, juices you are currently enjoying, and ones you anticipate trying in the future. (And even in the moment reviews, complete with updates as they age... So we can vape right along with you!). This gives me a very good bead on what a particular reviewers personal taste is, and I am better able to match them with my own. I now find myself ordering juice I actually like, almost every single time! It's almost miraculous, the difference in my order success rate!

I feel like I am doing my clinicals lol. Hopefully I will be able contribute some helpful commentary myself in the future.

I've been vaping Highbrow's Tabac De Perique for the last week and I'm really enjoying it. To me, perique is one of the most divisive tobacco flavors; most people I know love it or hate it. The burley cuts the perique nicely in this juice, making it more "mainstream" than other perique juices I've tried. I'm digging this one.

I have a bunch of Cravin Vapes NETs steeping at the moment. I'm excited to try those out soon!

Thanks Pardonme :) that was a really nice compliment. I appreciate that, good way to start my day.

My success rate with juices also soared since getting into NETs the last year or so. It's been more of a matter of how much I like a juice instead of if it's just vapable. I credit not only this thread and how much my tastes align with extracted tobaccos, but also the vendors. The ones who extract tobacco themselves are forced to put a lot of time and thought into the product (the worthwhile vendors anyway). Donley from W2V mentioned to me in an email how many extracts they are working on right now, and I was shocked. The limited amount available to purchase is a drop in a bucket to how many get tested. Credit also needs to go to the wonderful tobacco leaf itself. To be able to take 30 old, dried out cigarettes and with a simple maceration make a vapable product is pretty impressive.

Rpad, I'm regretting not picking up any Highbrow tobaccos with my order from them, at least the Perique. Will add it to my future order list.

I'm super-happy with the three I picked up (review next week...probably). I was also impressed with two of their juices that my friend Glenda brought over -- Peach Thymbra and Cheesecake Torte. My expectations were moderate on the Perique since some people seem to love it and others claim that it tastes like pine needles. It was nice to have my expectations exceeded! I might have to give the company's other tobaccos a shot.

I was eyeballing that cheesecake, along with the limoncello too. The two I got from Highbrow, orange and toffee, are sitting next to my Ahl Blue Fairy just teasing me how long I can hold out before tasting them.

Look forward to your review. Have your cute friend (girlfriend?) join you ;)

OT:

Jerms,

While I am personally not a fan of Highbrow's tobaccos, I want to give a shout-out for Highbrow's non-tobacco juices, especially Cheesecake Torte and Limoncello.

Most cheesecake eliquids get it wrong. Too often, the cheese flavor is overplayed and ends up tasting like nauseating sour curds. Highbrow takes a different route. Rather than being cheesy, per se, HB Cheesecake Torte substitutes a creamy, light, and fluffy dairy-cream quality, almost like a chiffon. Imagine Jello No-Bake cheesecake miraculously transformed from an ersatz, low-quality, bottom-of-the-barrel American fast food into a wonderful gourmet dessert. That's Cheesecake Torte.

Limoncello is lemonade as the Europeans make it---an Italian lemon liqueur served chilled as an after-dinner digestivo (yes, Wikipedia is my friend...). Not too tart, not too sweet. Just delicious. Add a splash of Orange de Sangre, and you get an amazingly tasty sweet lemonade made with Meyer lemons rather than the sour-tart Eureka lemons commonly found in American grocery stores.

Get out your wallet.

I'll give both those a Bill Bump on my list of nonbaccos to try, sounds Highbrow knows what they're doing with those flavor.

I've only had a couple cheesecake flavors, one from Madvapes way back that was terrible even for their standards, and a berry cheesecake from AiV that I have now that's not bad, but not too exiting either. It has a little bit of the heavy cream cheese flavor that I didn't like about the Madvapes one, but more subtle at least. I like the idea that Highbrow avoids that rich, real cheesecake flavor. As good as real cheesecake tastes, it relies so much on texture that can't transfer to vaping and just doesn't work for me.

I'll have to save a couple ml of the Orange de Sangre too to mix with the Limoncello, that sounds amazingly good. Thanks for the tip.
