Since innokin (claims) they didn't sell any to FT, are they clones, or bought from someone else? Is Innokin just upset at how low they're being sold? I have no idea what it means. Just food for thought. (I'd still buy it)

I'm wanting a spiral to use on the EA mod I have on the way and maybe a future Nemesis. Somebody please slap me like a sleepy hog and keep me away from the mechanical mod threads. It all started with a lowly Smoktech Natural and now I'm infected.

I just sold a bunch off and now am left with "only" two and one on the way. of course, its a Gus telescopic and a 69 erics. my erics nemesis should ship within a week. Then there's the piccolo. Then... yea. i need to stop there at least for a while.

Upside is I am now very very happy with the mods I have. no real reason to go shopping for more.... until I see the next shiny thing >.<

I emailed Joe about it, but his thing is more looking for deals than researching things like that, so don't expect to here from him. That and I assume he gets hundreds of emails a day. If I hear from him I'll let you know.

The only thing I'd add to that is I think QnJ has moved into that "just under the top tier" spot along with MOV.

Definitely agree. For me, they are almost on par with MOV and, if they keep making juices like the batch we are all working on names for, they will lower that gap even more. I also dont think they have any delusions to the contrary... I think that accounts for the excellent customer service (like handwritten notes on packing slips, inclusion of smaller bottles when ordering 30mls, etc.) - the customer service gets you to like them as people and give them a chance to get the juices in place.

I dont want that to sound like a bad thing - it isnt. its working for them and I wish them nothing but success. If we were only looking at customer service, they are easily in my top 3.

Still, I find that my favorite mods are mechanicals with an Evolv Kick. I love the simplicity of mechanicals and really appreciate the craftsmanship of high-end mechs. The Kick gives you VW and some protection. Right now my favorite is the EMI Avenger v3. The Filipino sun totally works for me.

Solid suggestion, but I need an ohm reader before I get into mechs and RBAs. I just don't have the right tools to learn right now. I really like the look of the high end mechs. Especially the Caravela. I like the Roller's clean lines too. That Avenger looks awesome!

I've got a multimeter you can use. After you get used to wrapping coils you really don't need one.

Hopefully the Kamry mech mod on its way to me (allegedly, the Singapore post site is a bit coy on the subject) will be just as good, if not quite as slick looking.

I had the K100 and it was pretty solid all things considered - I had no issues with the button firing and, since it was telescopic, had no issues with fit. I did use a 500 plus kick a few times and that worked well. The only thing I didnt do that I should have is to sand down the connections to expose the brass... I sold it off before getting there.

So obviously he's a vaper. Really cool guy, too. That pic says to me that he may be considering it. I really hope he does; his leather work is gorgeous. Beets Crossbreed holsters any day, imo (Not saying CB is a bad holster-quite the contrary) Keep your eyes open for some really nice PV leather from SOB Holsters.
