I'm sure many would jump on the bigger sizes if they were available. Would make steeping a lot easier.

I think it was Shatner who said that steeping juice in smaller quantities is faster than steeping them in one large quantity. That being said, I would assume Nick would be selling the larger bulk amounts at discounted prices (a 120 being cheaper than four 30's), and then it would just be a matter of splitting up that bigger bottle into smaller bottles to help in speeding up the steeping process. I'm going to have to mention that to Nick and Luigi again tomorrow.

It has been said smaller volumes steep quicker than larger ones. Not sure I ever heard that from a scientist. Does that mean if you fill a barge with e-liquid it will never steep?

Nah, it would just take 80 million years, or the half-life equivalent of plutonium-244. :p

No, if you fill a barge with e-liquid, it will never steep because it will be seized by customs and 'liquidated'

Hey guys, now that I'm back (at least for a bit ;) ), wanted to share a few notes.

I just tried the Ahlusion Cocoa Blend and it has a LOT of promise. Tried it completely fresh today--no steeping.

Right now, the tobacco aromas completely overpower the cocoa, which is exactly the way I like it. LOTS of tobacco funk, some sweetness, lots of woody scents, and strong hints of pure cocoa powder.

On the draw, the cocoa is prominent but the tobacco is much more so. Very similar with the exhale. The cocoa you might imagine, but the tobacco: very dark, smooth, lots of bark, hardwood, no burnt flavor, raisins, not too fruity, very woodsy. Everything an aromatic tobacco should be right out of the tin.

The thing is, the chocolate and tobacco are very distinct from each other right now (fresh bottle). You can already tell, however, how well these flavors will meld with each other with a month of steeping. I can't wait to seem how beautiful this flavor will be once complete. This is one of those flavors you can just TELL will be good.

Cheers,
Abe

Glad you like it. Me too. It doesn't really change over time, except the cocoa relaxes a little. The tobacco and cocoa are designed to work together, in fact to almost be one flavor. The flavors are so matched (as are the other flavored aromatics) that it is difficult to separate them. Different people taste these flavors differently; some say the tobaccos in these juices dominate the flavors, and other folks taste it the other way. It seems to me that the two components take about an equal share of the flavor bonanza.

Grr. My RSST still ain't right. It's "weeping" juice through the cracks. At least it isn't the coil, which is usually where my RBA problems lie.

Packing for my second overnight visit to the sleep clinic. Taking Reo (with Gorilla Juice), Vmod (Serendipity) and Winder (CE5-Candied Cavendish). No RBAs, they are just asking for frustrated insomnia;)

Those seem like some really good choices. Wasn't aware that you had sleeping problems, Scarf - hope all goes well.

Rockin the QNJ "Your Name" juices on a Phoenix V5 dual coil. Good juice on a sweet RDA! I thought dual coils were just for "clouds" guys but this thing is also on the money flavor wise. Not sure of ohms but 2 six wraps of 30 g kanthal, wrapped on a 5/64 drill bit, silica threaded through. Thanks to TCP for piquing my interest in a dual coil build.

Scarf, I had your problem once upon a time. Seems falling asleep gets a lot easier as I get older, just not real sure when it will happen though. Good luck in getting it sorted out!

Long story short, for those who haven't heard:

January: Start feeling extremely tired during day. Wake up at 7, sleepy by 10. Total mental fog, unable to do anything.
February: Forced to quit job due to exhaustion. Make appointment at sleep clinic for April.
March: Travel.
April: Have first sleepover.
May: Results take a month to arrive. Diagnosed with sleep apnea and hypopnea. Apparently I quit breathing for up to thirty seconds at a time (!) while i sleep. This causes extreme oxygen deprivation, hence tiredness. Ironically, it's probably aggravated by the 10 kilos I gained after quitting smoking.:-x
Tonight: Sleepover with CPAP machine. A little scary. But if it gets me back to normal and back into the working world, yay. I hate being a lump.

I haven't had any of the clinical testing done, but I know I have sleep apnea as well. I have restless sleep almost every night, waking up a couple times at minimum each and every night (probably when I quit breathing). I am fine in the morning but tire quickly and tend to need a nap by 2 or 3. I know it's weight-related which is why I need to stop eating so much garbage.

I feel for you, Scarfy....I hope they can find the solution to your problem. In fact I'm sure they will.

Come to Sydney Shatner and I will take you out and show you the best places! We could even do a road trip to Canberra to see Scarfy or to Melbourne. If you give me plenty of notice I will put in some annual leave with work.

There is a tonne of things to do in Sydney. Good restaurants, good night spots, natural beauty, beach, sand, surf. Come in the spring or summer.

Yep, same girl. The vid of the huge show was almost 10 years ago. The acoustic street preformance was 2ish years ago.

What's there to do in Sydney? I'm not a huge partier, but I'd gladly take you out for drinks. If you drink, of course. I could also smuggle some Ahlusion aros in for y'all. :) It would kind of make sense to go to Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney. I think; I haven't even looked at a map.

Brody Dalle is very pretty! Awesome voice, singer/songwriter. My Sister's band, The Pasties opened for Spinnerrette last year. I got to meet Mrs. Dale at an after party. She's cool as hell and super smart.

"Your Name Turkish" contest beta NET from www.quicknicjuice.com . Vaped in an IGO-S at 1.5 watts on a KTS Storm mechanical.

Sweetness: 2. A mild sweetness comes through that feels like it just from the tobacco. Dry enough to feel like an authentic, straight tobacco vape, yet enough sweetness that makes me think it would work for people who shy away from dry tobacco vapes.

Tobacco Impact (1 being extremely mild and 5 being very aggressive and/or complex: 4. Straight tobacco flavor. I wouldn't call it aggressive, but it's on the stronger end of medium to me. Fairly complex and very flavorful tobacco tones. Has a little leafy bit and sort of a spicy kick to it. I'm impressed on how strong and pure the tobacco comes through without being an aggressive vape.

Vapability (1 being best for short sessions on occasion, 5 being an anytime, anywhere vape) 4.5. I vaped it a little last night and most of the day today. Tobaccos in the medium range like this are some of my favorite. Sweet and mild baccos start getting muted after a little bit and the super aggressive ones are usually only enjoyable for short sessions for me. This one keeps it's flavor and doesn't get tiring. It's also a great anytime vape because all I will need is to be in the mood for tobacco, which is most of the time. It's a great first vape of the morning because it has some bite but doesn't kick too hard.

Flavor Accuracy: No rating since it's not being sold a specific kind of vape yet. I think it could pass as a pipe vape, but personally feels like a cigarette vape. It's a lot like a Camel, which contains Turkish and Virginia tobaccos, but is a lot more enjoyable than a commercial ciggy. The cig feel is what I think makes it such an anytime vape for me. Turkish may have even beaten Wrangler Light for me in the cig category of the NETty awards.

Overall: 4.5. This is such a well done Turkish NET on many levels. Authentic tobacco, well balanced, and highly vapable. Turkish has been under-represented in NETs and I'm glad more are being released. I think it's harder to make a really good straight tobacco NET than a flavored one, so I love it when a vendor pulls it off. Fantastic NET that I think will work very well for many tobacco fans.

What's a good month? I need a bit to save some more, anyway. I need a freaking vacation, BAD. I go to visit my Mother in Merida, Mexico (she G T F O of the U.S.) and my Father in Oklahoma. I want something different. And Australia sounds exactly what I'd like.

Don't know if anyone's posted it yet (there's 1218 frickin pages on this thread), but I just got an order in from Crystal Canyon Vapes, one of the top 3 e-liquid vendors on this page. One of the samples I got was Tombstone, and let me tell you, it is fantastic.

Very subtle sweetness, but a rich and thick tobacco flavor on the exhale. It's not like these other tobacco flavors (pipe tobacco-flavors, or even my favorite, Grey Matter, from Mister E Liquid), it's tobacco all the way.

It had to steep for about a week before the perfuming scent went away, but when it did, it was noticeable just by sniffing the vial. Dropped some in a carto and it was great. Try it.

Hi B2. That sounds like a tasty flavor. It almost certainly isn't a natural extracted tobacco (NET) though.

Interesting site. I hadn't seen that vendor before.
