I felt like I had reached a high point in my vaping when I comparison vaped London, Apache, and Devil Dog one evening a while back. Today I have been revisiting the new QNJ juices. While trying the "Your Name" Turkish it hit me, "I can do this again". :D So I fired up the QNJ Turkish, Ahlusion Sahara Blend, and Good ejuice Wid Turkey back to back!:p I won't post my impressions as a lot of folks are still testing the QNJ Turkish but it was pretty revealing to do this comparison. Which one would I buy?:?:

All of them!!!!!!:thumb::thumb::thumb:

I'd like to read your Turkish comparisons if you do a write-up. If I remember right you did a pretty awesome write-up of those 3 English pipe blends.

Shatner I think what i know about Austin is the constant media coverage that took place from it's banks a few years ago when Hurricane Katrina was approaching landfall. Now I could have my facts mixed up but I've heard of that city and get a mental image of a bay with strong winds and boats along a mooring?

Try to make it to Houston. We have some cool museums and parks. Great food, a lot of microbreweries and fantastic music. And no, not country. lol

Actually, if you want your mind blown and the stereotype of a Texan ruined forever and proven untrue, visit Austin. It's our capital and an awesome town/city. Close to a lake w/ lots of water sport (lol). 6th street downtown would be fun for you. It's only 2 1/2-3 hours away from me, too.

I really considered the DNA but opted for the standard mini first. I love my VMODs and am hoping I can get a similar vape from the mini. if I can, I may opt for the DNA... the open cup is a concern of mine as well. We'll see how it goes. hopefully, soon.
I just received a Boggerbox DNA mod. My wife and I just completed 3 days of motorcycling in the Great Smoky Mountains. My wife has 2 REO mods (2 mini's and a Grand). She is using RBAs (Hornets on the mini's and REO on the Grand) while I use a Vapage hybrid atty Only once (when we were on the Blue Ridge Parkway at its highest peak) did I get any juice into the cup. The REO's on the other hand were constantly filling the cup. As far as performance was concerned, the DNA was flawless the entire trip.

That's really good to know.

Austin TX is about 150 miles inland... I suspect you are thinking of either Galveston ( most likely ) or possibly Corpus Cristi. Of course there are other ports that could have been used, another more likely one being Port Arthur since it is the closer of the 3 I mentioned.

Nope. That would be New Orleans, Louisiana. Austin is in the Texas Hill Country. Pretty far inland.

How are people liking Sahara Blend?

I've been dripping some QnJ's Pick Your Name liquids. My favorite is definitely the Vanila NET.

I'm pretty certain I also recall some news crews in a few Texas ports as well since at first they weren't certain where landfall was going to be at and the other ports ( farther out from the eye ) could still sustain some damage.

My Sahara is only a week old... I'm getting some of the sweeter tobacco leaf notes but not the full tobacco flavors yet... so I'm going to have to wait at least a couple more weeks if not a month or so more before mine develops as it needs to. I'll finish out the 1.5ml Evod I have filled since the flavor is still enjoyable, it is just not a bigger ( perhaps I should say medium ) font tobacco yet. On other fronts, the Blue Grass Burley is finally not kicking my .... as much... I'm finally adjusted to the much fuller flavor and really am liking that one. The Desperado's initial sweetness is finally toning down so the tobacco flavor in it ( also burley I believe ) is really starting to come to the forefront.

Hurricane Ike hit about 60 miles East(?) of Galveston. Can't remember exactly where. That's probably what you're thinking about.

SB takes a bit to get up to speed. I need to give Desperado another shot. I don't really remember it.

The news crews were all over that coast.. so I was recalling correctly but I can't say exactly where I recall it from though I think it was and is more likely Port Arthur. There were also some crews in Mississippi. I also recall the other hurricanes as well... just not as vividly now.

It may have been Rita, which struck farther west a few weeks later. Galveston was definitely in the news for that one.

I think I know what Anthony B was talking about. In 2005 Rita approached the Texas coast and since everyone was still freaked out about Katrina it prompted a mass exodus of the greater Houston/Galveston area. Reportage from Austin was likely about the huge influx of cars and people that turned outgoing Houston freeways into 100 mile long parking lots.

Wow, I remember that like it was yesterday. My now ex Father in Law was insisting that we leave. But I wasn't going anywhere. There was NO WAY I was leaving our house unattended. They got stuck half way between Houston and Dallas, where my BiL lived.

Absolutely nothing happened. Oh, our lemon tree broke a 2" branch.

Just a quick question concerning HHV:

Also, can any care to describe Pirate's Booty? That's another one I skipped the first time, because I just didn't what Caribbean tobacco was, but I hear it's good.

I need to make another order, since I'm out of Legend, Huntsman is going pretty quickly, and Dragon's Fire is down to the last drops.

edited to excise the Shadow question, since there was a fresh post in the HHV Army sub-forum about it.

Pirate's Booty is probably my favorite of the HHV NETs. To me it is a slightly spicy cigar with maybe a very faint tea undertone. It was the first one I had the "whoa, better slow down to make this sample last" feeling with. I have since bought 2 30s and a 50 ml of to make sure I don't have that worry again.

Curious about all the comments about the REO. I have never, ever experienced any sort of leaking from the REO, even when I had an atty on it. (Right now it's been holding a Silo cartomizer for weeks).

The Vmod, on the other hand, has had dreadful leaking problems, mostly due to the bottle developing microtears and flooding my hand with juice when I squonk it. I am on my last bottle and expecting a few more soon, but I think it might be due to the fact that when I unscrew it to refill, I might be twisting it a bit and compromising it? I have wrapped the bottle in a rubber band in an attempt to get a better grip on it. I hope that gives me better purchase while screwing and unscrewing it.

Interesting. I wonder if it is a difference between the VMOD 2.0 and XL. I've never used a 2.0...

Could be just that the bigger bottle is easier to grip. I have notoriously un-nimble fingers. :)
