Goodejuice and Heather's Heavenly Vapes are both cheaper than that. Ahlusion can be if you take advantage of all the discounts.

GoodeJuice also has a 10% off code, ecf10. As for NETs, GeJ is the least expensive off the rip when using ECF10, save for CravinVapes (12.00 per 30 mL). GeJ has one of the cheapest shipping rates and they process, literally, in minutes.

Yeah, Nick at GeJ sometimes ships before you order.

IMO- paying a little more for in-house NETs is totally justified. Not sure if tobacco leaves cost more than flavorings but my guess is yes. Also, time is money and NETs are a craft. It's a much more involved process for NETs than mixing flavorings and I'm quite willing to pay more for someone's craft if it tastes good. Same with beer. A good micro is worth the additional cost.

With that being said, I will always look for coupons before ordering.

Let's talk about a synthetic liquid - Johnson Creek Smoke Juice - JC Original.

I will catch up on the thread later however right now I just want to say that I happened to stick some Johnson Creak - Original in my Vapeonly BCC and damn that is one mighty fine synthetic tobacco. I know I may receive a blank on this post both because there are many knockers of JC and also because its off topic (unless juices that resemble a NET or invoke a question about whether they are a NET apply).

It is performing really well in the BCC. this is the first time I've used a synthetic in a BCC and think the reason this juice tastes so good is that BCCs generally perform better with synthetics than with NETs.

I am finding it hard to know what's in this juice because unlike NET's where we are trying to pick the blends of single leaf extractions and various types of tobacco's, one is trying to detect the synthetic additives and proprietary concentrates (Flavor Apprentice, Flavorart, and a bunch of European flavor masters). If I had to take a stab I would say I can taste some kind of synthetic Virginia, maybe a hint of TA and some stag leaf or Type M Flavor Apprentice. It is the way these flavours integrate that makes it passable as a NET. It's all tobacco in taste. There is no hint of fruit or dessert in this juice and its not very sweet at all outside the PG/VG component. There may be very subtle undertone of caramel or vanilla but all it does is give the tobacco profile some lightness or mild sweetness. I have to search for any caramel or vanilla when vaping the juice but it plays like a rich, moist tobacco flavour reminiscent of the Vermillion River range. If I didn't know any better I would think there was some component in this juice that is a natural extraction but I know this is not the case. This is one of the formative juices in the fledgeling vaping market back before NETs were on the market.

I know taste is subjective but I don't get the criticisms against Johnson's Creek. I have, in the last few months, ordered synthetics that were drain worthy I disliked them so much but this one is a winner in my book. It's target market is most likely not some of the very discerning netizens in this group but for the individual who is new at vaping and wants a liquid to simulate that rich tobacco flavour, this juice would have a good chance of hitting the right notes with them.

I really enjoy a good synthetic from time to time especially a tried and true one like JC Original. It's a nice change to vape something that doesn't gunk up equipment yet still retains a good tobacco rich flavour.

If I discovered this juice 3 years ago it would be in my top 3 juices. It's definitely in my most favourite synthetics right now alongside some Vapor Station juices, Aromea-juice WTA's and COV's Black and Tan. I wish I had some of the other blends from JC to try but I only got this one particular bottle with a W2V order from Vulcanvape and decided to throw it in to try it.

100s of NETs to review and I go and review a synthetic. What can I say. I am quirky and others have given such outstanding reviews on some of my favourite NETs that anything from me would be sub-standard.

Personally, I enjoy an occasional arti-bacco review on this thread, so thanks for sharing that. I also enjoy the occasional synthetic tobacco, they can be interesting too and their performance is usually better than NETs. I'm much more interested in what my fellow NETters like in an arti than some random flibbidy-flop.

I see you mentioned COV's Black and Tan. I recently added that to my queue of juices to order because of a comment about that juice from BillHerbst. I also added COV's RY4 and Honeysuckle Tobacco, just to make the order bigger than one bottle.

Never had a Johnson Creek vape that I can remember. I remember checking them out early in my vaping journey but never pulling the trigger.

I promised myself I'd never marry again. Unless I've been with the lady for 7+ years and we just freaking work. Cheat? Done. Lie? G tfo! Don't work? Better cook and clean daily (no offense ladies, but what's a house wife supposed to do? Not spend my money for nothing [I view marriage as more of a business. {I'm Athiest}]). Those are the basics, of course.

I REALLY dislike JC. Something about them just doesn't do it for me. And I've ordered 3 times form them, so I've tried.

Do y'all like RY4? I could put this in the RY4 thread as it vanilla, caramel and Virginia tobacco. But it tastes like no RY4 I've tasted. I really hesitate to call it an RY4.

Helios Vapor Meteor. Pricey, but very good.

I've had 6 or so ry4's so far and none of them are that similar to each other. Pure synthetics are definitely the sweetest but even then they are quite different. Of the pure synthetics I found ivape's to be the best. Kinda heady and thick. Really nice without being overly sweet.

qua4tro is by far the least sweet and most tobacco flavored for obvious reasons. It's a brilliant natural take on ry4 but not even close to the synthetics imo.

VR's ky4 is a perfect in betweener. Definitely tobacco flave but nice sweet carm/vanilla notes. The ry4 thread scares me. I couldn't image working through a list like that.

I have a question I hope is appropriate for this forum. I keep looking at tobacco juices and what kind of tobacco is either lab created, extracted, or whatever other ways there are to make a tobacco liquid. Can someone give me ideas of what tobaccos have what flavors, and what tobacco types are in specific cigaretter/cigar brands? I know this is asking a lot. I don't expect someone to compile a huge list, but just any info off the top of your head will do.

Like for example:

Turkish tobacco - that is in Camel cigarettes, right? And, in general, it's a dry kinda spicy flavor?

Then I hear of Perique and have no clue what kind of tobacco that is or what it's flavor profile is at all.

Or Latika (sp?) Where does that even come from, what area of the world? And what is its flavor profile.

I would really like to compile a list of tobaccos and their flavor profiles and what vendors carry them. I would think this would come in handy for everyone.

P.S. To keep it specific to the NET Forum, we could just discuss those tobaccos in NETs.

Yes, Turkish is in Camel. But Turkish alone doesn't burn hot enough to release all of it's sugars and caramalize. So it's commonly mixed with Virginia and/or Burley.

Virginia, is obvious as to where it's grown, but, if I'm not mistakin' is also it's own strain. Usually lighter in flavor.

Burley is also it's own strain. But much more robust and full bodied. It can be grown anywhere tobacco is grown. Mexican Burley is gaining in popularity.

Perique is fermented tobacco grown in Louisiana. It can be a mix of different strains. It has a funk and can be a little sour.

Latakia (Latkia is a very common misspelling) is oriental. Very smoky and only the die hard tobacco fans will appreciate it.

Cavendish is flavored tobacco. Think vanilla pipe tobacco. Or Cherry pipe tobacco. You know he tobacco you pinch from a pouch and it's moist and fruity smelling? That's Cavendish. Mostly bright Virginias and mild Burley mixes.

No I'm no expert, but this is how I understand it. Please correct me if I'm off base.

Looks good. One semi-correction; Virginia is another name for Brightleaf tobacco, and is grown all around the world. In the US I think it's mainly grown in Kentucky, Tennessee, and yes, Virginia. I read a brief thing that Latakia is a type of Virginia, but that might have been incorrect. And Cavendish doesn't have to be flavored tobacco, though often is. Cavendish describes a way to cure and cut a tobacco, and can be done to just bring out the natural sweetness in the tobacco instead of adding an additional flavor.

And you know what the ironic thing is, I've tend to dislike the pure dry tobaccos now, and want -- need -- sweetness to my juices.

Weird.

HHV has ruined me :) Now I'm going to be chasing after RY4's and fruit blends.

I'm with you there Jef. Love the dry cigar flaves but only for an hour or so. Too dry to go any longer. The addition of a sweetener makes them more durable to be sure.

I picked a bottle of this up at the E-Cig City 4 vape meet, while I was hanging with Tez and Blue. It was my obligatory I've-been-hanging-out-in-your-store-for-four-hours purchase. I've dripped a little, but have been letting steep. My initial impression was that it was a good, but typical Western-style RY4. For synthetic RY4s, I prefer a balanced flavor like the Janty RY4s. For NET RY4s, I want a strong tobacco presence like GeJ GJ4. Is Helios a NET? I didn't ask when I bought it.

Virginia is also called Brightleaf...much of it grown here in tobacco road (at one time before the PC government interfered). We still call it Brightleaf here.

EDIT: Sorry Jerms. I didn't see you qualified "Virginia" already.
