Thanks.

I'm thoroughly, 100% burnt out on sampling. But I do try to pay attention to vendors I'd like to try down the road. I'll have to put DV on that list. Still need to try more MOV (only had the Apache and it is good).

Kinda neat that new juices are outpacing my ability to try them. That wasn't always the case. :)

Trust me, I am too. Luckily, a good friend of mine (E) sent me some last year (can't believe it's been so long), so I already knew I wasn't going to be upset, it was just a matter of how happy I would be.

I'm very excited to try DV. There's something about finding a hidden gem that's been around, but mostly looked over in our thread, that gets me more pumped than new NET vendors or new NETs released.

I've also made no secret that I'm a big fan of flavored NETs. Yes, straight tobacco vapes are some of the best, but I'm still a fan of non-tobacco flavors, moreso when they are combined with tobacco.

Well, you accept new flavors better than I do. I'm not sure what that means visa vie sampling but it appears not much if we're both burnt out on it. :)

I see DV has a flavor called BFF...a hazelnut. Don't see a whole lot of hazelnut out there. It seems that might be a nice vape. I never had one. Comments anyone?

I'm leery (leary?) about that one. Nutty isn't something that often works well for me in a vape. But hazelnuts? Maybe, I don't know. Right now it's trumped by four I want to try a lot more, and I like to keep my first orders from a vendor lean. Probably a second-order purchase if DV works for me.

I just got my first ever order from MOV. Southern Gentleman, Pendragon and Hey Jack. Steep or Vape? My eyes are tired from staring at that gold label with unreadable print, but the PENDRAGON is readable. Maybe just a ml? Couple of drops on my atty? All three are sealed at the top. Maybe just a sniff of each? Arrhhhhhh!!!!!

It actually doesn't scratch the nut itch for me.:lol::lol: Just joking. It does fine. It really does have a uniqe hazenut taste on top of the tobacco. I will be vaping this with my unsweetened black joe! FAYI (for all y'all info), the tobacco in B.F.F is not speaking much to me yet, but it's mumbling something, I just can't quite make it out yet like I can with the others.

To me, PenD was good (scratch that; great) on day one. I say vape, at least a few drops of each. PenD and SoGent may take a bit to get into, more of a acclimation than steeping issue though. Hey Jack...... mine tastes funny after a long steep.

Well, at first taste using dripping atty's for all three I would say Pendragon has the possibility, at least for my taste, to be up there with Patriot as an ADV. Hey Jack is pretty good too. Southern Gentleman I don't know. I'd say it's not for me and I should have gone for Apache instead. But, I'll do the whole bottle before making a decision.

From Diefleu at DV:

Berserk, ghost peachbacco, cocobacco, cranbacco all have their own base.

Ry4, Ry5, BFF and vanilla tobacco share a tobacco base. Even with the shared base they are strikingly different from each other.

Directly dripping at a higher voltage I wouldn't opt for extra flavor. Sometimes too much flavor can be a bad thing!

Their 555 is new and wasn't available at the time Diefleu answered my question about the bases. I don't know about Black Cherry and Bluebacco either.

I thought of George Carlin talking about Timothy Leary's brother Really Leery.

That was close to my experience. Connected with PenD right away. SoGent I respected more than I enjoyed.. until half the bottle was gone I really started liking it. I wanted more Latakia kick at first, but after a bit I noticed complexities that would have been covered up with more Latakia. I think it was johni who suggested to me to stick with it, and glad I did.

Glad to see another PenD fan! Also glad you're liking HJ too.

I love how open they are about their recipes!

While they don't say what kind of tobacco, at least we got something to go on. Also, while I am not saying that these liquids taste the same, I would put DV's NETs in a class with Ahl's Wild Woods, but most certainly better, yes, I said better, that Ahl's House Blends.

BCC's are too inconsistent for me. I've only tried the Protanks though. Not certain if the smaller volume of liquid would help or hinder the Evod. I'll only use a Protank now if I'm desperate.

unfortunately, what happened on ProTanks was that some people were getting bad packs of coil heads and didn't realize it...they assumed that ProTanks were evil. I was one of the lucky ones who got good coil heads(I did get one bad one once). The coil heads can be recoiled very easily if you have some 28 ga kanthral and a piece of cotton or 1mm silica. I wish the quality control was better but then they'd raise prices too.

If you all can forgive me for the lack of depth coming, I want to say that so far:

1) B.F.F. from Darth Vapers is good (reserving judgement for the coming two-week steep)

2) Berserk is good (reserving judgement for the coming two-week steep, but I will be vaping this the whole time)

3) Vanilla Tobacco extra flavor (I already liked this one and can't wait for the long-term, at least a month, steep)

4) Ghost Peach Tobacco (I got this as a free sample and boy am I happy I did. Immediate case for a reorder! Steeping with this one will only happen with a large bottle.)

I will review a couple (or all) of these soon, but as of now, I am proud to say I have made a good purchase (it's more rare than I let on and my last liquid purchase was a waste of money). Vanilla Tobacco is exactly how I remember it from last year. Consistency is to be expected here, so what you order will be able to be obtained again. Nice.

(All liquids were 24 mg and recommended ratio. Only Vanilla Tobacco, hey, Lady E, was extra flavor. ;))

Nice...thank-you. Vanilla tobacco sounds good. I am very picky about consistency. Would like to hear more about the Vanilla one for sure.
