Thanks, Mr. Mann. Just trying to give a little something back to the thread I've learned so much from.

I'll say this about Reserve. It's so good that putting it in a ProTank would be a crime in Frankenmizeria *chuckle* Even a cartotank would be frowned on sternly. Drip it, rda it, or rba it.

I have an arrangement with the Hooded Figures from the Night Vale podcast to guard Frankenmizeria's Dog Park. Don't go in there with Reserve and a ProTank. Just. Don't.

Oh, you did. You did.

I got some thoughts on Maha Ras:

Oh yeah, I am waiting, as I am sure you are, to see what Nick has to say about your questions.

Do you not like it?

I'm waiting too. With baited breath! I can't wait to hear his thoughts.

Maha Ras.. tastes like incense, coconut, and fruit punch to me. I really like it, but just as an occasional vape.

I'm bumping up Analog because of your praises. Getting that, Organic #1, and Acadian next.

That's a KeCig K101 (Empire clone) that I got from ExhaleVapors. Same as a K100, but a different look to the body. Reverse threaded lock, telescopes from 18350 to 18650, nice play on the button, very little voltage loss, eGo threaded.. I recommend it. Here's another pic..

Glad to hear it's a nice treat for you. :) The K101 is awesome. Does the 'KeCig' have features other clones don't, or is getting it from FastTech (ironic name) kosher? What do you mean by "Reverse thread lock"? A 'nut' that tightens so the it can't accidentally fire?

I'm definitely going to get one and put the Roller in the 'classy night out' rotation.

Ya know.. my one of my first experience with nets were ahlusion aromatics. I did notice the disclaimer too.. but I figured, well shoot.. if it comes with a warning label, it MUST be good. I was a former smoker after all.. warning labels are kinda familiar.. and they don't phase me.

In hindsight though.. I probably shoulda listened. I'm not a big fan of the aros, but I do understand the fan base. For people who loved cigars, pipes or rolled their own.. you all probably had a much greater understanding of what to expect than I did.. I smoked marb lights.. a brief affair with newports too, but that lasted only as long as my cornrows and nose ring. (i was 16 and SUCH a badass, rolls eyes) So then fast forward to my first toot of blue grass burley.. Let's just say it didn't work out too well for me.. pretty much felt like I was assaulted.. and maybe that did cause a bit of resentment.. towards the artisan, towards the fans.. but you can see how I formed my conclusion, no? Though I will admit, it was a hasty one.

Since then I've found some tamer nets.. ones without the anger issues that plague the aros :) I absolutely love every one I have tried from HHV, recently tried full flake ry4 which I think is divine, although I don't know how well this represents the net family, as the tobacco is very subtle.. Burley and Candy from TPR is liquid happiness for me.. and most recently, Sahara blend. Knocking my socks off. It reminds me of my beloved white beard tobacco from vcv but it doesn't kill my coils.. big plus considering I don't wrap my own.

But this leads me to the reason for my totally long winded post.. I'm ready to give ahl another go, and I'd really appreciate some guidance. I've been lurking this thread for a while, and you all were starting to go this direction.. but specifically.. can we categorize the non- aros at ahl from weakest to strongest? Or littlest font to biggest font... or however you guys do it. I should mention I wasn't a big fan of smooth criminal either.. it tasted ashy to me. But I gave up on mine well before the two month mark.. so maybe that would've gone away. What IS that ashy note, btw? Is that tobacco absolute? My other likes have TA too, (i think, please correct me if I'm mistaken) so I wonder why it bothered me in this liquid but I tolerate it in others? See that's another thing I'm trying to figure out about myself... Which KIND of tobaccos I like. Sigh.

But for tomorrows order.. I'm mostly wondering about house blend, river tree and wildwood. What are the differences in these?

There are 3 tobaccos you should get. Actually 4 if you like peach. Smooth Criminal. Gold Rising. Apple Tree River Blend. Apple Wild Wood. And if you like peach; Peachy Criminal and/or you can do Peach River Tree Blend and Peach Wild Wood. But I'd get Peach Criminal. It's a fantastic fruit/tobacco hybrid.

To the bolded, and I'm not trying to troll nor instigate; I'm just curious. Why?

If you like Full Flake from Mountian Oak, try Our Why Qu4tro from quicknickjuice.com. Also try their Godz'nilla (I think that's what the vanilla tobacco is called) and Humpback which is a Turkish tobacco- incredibly tasty. They're all "medium font" like MOV.

Also, if you haven't tried Blue Beard and Burley Beard from Velvetcloudvapor.com (I know you said you had White beard) you should do yourself a favor and try them. As a plus they're easy on coils. In fact, all the Ahlusion suggestions are, too. Heck, Sahara blend, as you've probably noticed, is practically a coil cleaner.

Hi Sharron, nice to finally meet you. ;)

I don't know how you vape (meaning what you vape with), but I think if you like Sahara, you may like Peach River Tree Blend. It's more subtle and "neutral," but man is it good. Though, I think you are safe with the Wild Woods and probably overly safe with the House Blends. Those liquids (HBs) are like padded room-safe. hahaha. Yep, those drove me crazy, but not in a good way. Bland, I say (but not bad). Yes, WWs are a go.

p.s. I don't even look at Smooth Criminal until at least 6 weeks, and then, it's just a glance. After that, it's "Annie are you okay?" all day!

Hi :)

So ok.. house blend is the tamest.. almost to a fault.. but river tree and wildwood are still tame.. but is one tamer than the other, or.. are there any key differences there? The web descriptions do not denote any except to say that wild wood is inspired by river tree, but improved and well received by testers.

I was thinking about vanilla wildwood but then I see vecchio.. now I'm just downright conflicted.

Btw, I'm vaping on a protank/zmax mini 1.8ohm coil.

I put KeCig because that's what the engraving says, but where I bought it from lists the manufacturer as Kamry. Actually.. the engraving on the mod says KeCig K100+, but they've been referred to as K101 to signify the different look. I'm not sure what FastTech has it listed under, but my guess is the one they sell is exactly the same as this one.

Yeah, the lock makes it so the button can't be pressed. Must-have for pocket safety. The reverse threading allows it to be locked tight without unscrewing the bottom. You can still set it down on the button without having to lock it, it's stiff enough that it won't fire under it's own weight.

Thanks for answering my questions, Shatner. I do have the blue beard too, and I love it, but whitebeard just does something for me. The bluebeard gets some play when I'm feeling frisky, but whitebeard is the one I keep coming home to. :) I haven't noticed any coil sparing properties though.. which I'm not disputing your findings.. but I just chuck mine after a day or two of use. I just think the liquid burns better on a fresh coil.. vcv and otherwise.

I actually really like the list, with maybe a few small tweaks.. I was thinking apple river tree, peachy criminal, gold rising and vanilla wild wood.. or vecchio. Or maybe peach RT, GR, appleWW and vecchio. And plain SC. Idk. Clearly I've not made my mind completely up, but the framework has been laid. Thanks for being cool and helping me with the process.

Now to answer your question.. why. Well, because. I knew I'd get my answers here. If you want to know how to fix your car, you don't ask a plumber, right? No you ask a glassblower/gunsmith, duh. Lol. Ok Maybe thats a half baked analogy but I think you get the point. Lovely work, btw. :)

I would fore go House Blend. It's too tame; tamer than HHV. River Tree Blend is tamer than Wild Woods, imo. But not by much. There are differences, but you can tell they're related. Wild Woods are more woody. Maybe even a tiny bit tosty. Or maybe that's the tobacco. Even if you don't like 'toasty' don't let that turn you off. It's barely detectable and one must look for it.

Mr.Mann is right that Smooth criminal is a steeper and I know you hate steepers. But get a 60ml if you can. That way you'll know we're not crazy in regards to steeping/aging when you're finishing off the bottle (because you will like Smooth Criminal-I've not heard on any tobacco fan not liking SC).

I got paint on my hands, so I can't go into too much detail. Skip Vecchio. If you want that kind of thing, you may as well stick to vapes like Bounty Hunter, or maybe, Vita Bella from GeJ.

@ Sharon -- great to see you here!

@Shatner and Jerms: love my k100! So glad I won one (and the dripper). 18350 mode is so tiny! Fires everytime, great locking, reverse threading and hits like a champ. Mine is ribbed for pleasure, but at least it's not pink :)

@ Mr. Mann: good to read your fully saturated posts again :) We've missed you!

@ Big Juicy -- great first(s) impressions of TPR's Honey-Fig tobacco. Thanks!

@ Frankenmizer -- nice detail on the exotic HoL juices!

@ RPADtv -- I'm in awe of your ever increasing vape shelf/stage! Great precise, and informative reviews, mostly in under 5 minutes! Keep up the fantastic work.

You know RP, I have heard more people say the same thing about their KFL. A big reason why I sprung for it. I ultimately would like to go with eckowool because it can be dry burned and I like how the folded edge can be placed atop the feed channels. I saw a vid on it and really liked it. I think he used 32ga. Kanthal. I'm planning on hooking it up to my Provari. I'll link you to the vid if you're interested. Initially I will use doubled up 3mm cotton and 32 ga. Cuz that's what I have. :)

What wick/wire setup do you use?

I'm currently using Wicked Wire from the Philippines. It's a flat-ribbon type. With a 3/2 wrap, I get 1.2 ohms. For wick, I'm absolute loving Twik. It's hollow Ekowool with a cotton core through the middle. Currently vaping some Ahlusion Cocoa Blend in a Russian (Kayfun 3.1 clone) and it's dreamy.

I didnt read all 1617 pages so I dont know if/how many times this flavor has been brought up but I am currently enjoying "Burley Beard Tobacco" by Velvet Cloud Vapor out of my Magneto. I first tried it out at my local vapor bar and then went on to purchase a 6mg/ml bottle for myself. While I was sampling it I was told by a guy at the store that Velvet Cloud uses extracts the flavor from uncured green tobacco.

I have only ever sampled one other tobacco flavor which I did not like at all so I am not experienced in this but I can say Burley Beard is the best tobacco flavor that I have had! My one problem with the juice is that it is 100% VG and so it does not produce the ridiculously huge clouds that i am accustom to. I hope that this is helpful to someone!

You don't have to read all 16,000 posts. See the gray horizontal bar above the first post on the page? It has six pull-down menus. One of them is "Search Thread." If you pull down that menu and type "burley beard tobacco" in the box, the search engine will then show you all 35 posts in this thread that contain the words in the search string. Convenient, eh?

One of those posts is my review of VCV Burley Beard, White Beard, and Vanilla Tobacco:

Three Natural Tobaccos from VelvetCloudVapor

Agreed, skip Vecchio. If you want a vanilla tobacco from Ahlusion, get the aforementioned Vanilla Wild Wood.

Oh, Shatner, I do like Maha Ras, but it messes with my mind.

How so?

Thanks for your comment on the K100. Awesome that you won it. IIrc, that's what really got you in to vaping, correct?

Yep, VCV's Burley Beard is very good. I get that and blue beard by the 120ml. Make sure to try Blue Beard, too. It's a bright Virginia with essence if Blue and Blackberry. Ever so slightly detectable. If you'd like a little more of the berry essence, ask for it "Adam's style". Named after yours truly. :)

Also, your friend is correct that they extract their own TA, or Tobacco Absolute. Think of it as tobacco hash, pretty much. However, your friend is incorrect that it's extracted from green leaf. I assure you the tobacco is cured before extraction. Which means it's tan/brown/has absolutely NO Chlorophyll (or Borophyll - however you want to look at it ).

Also try their White Beard Tobacco. If you'd rather have regular, plain Vanilla instead of Vanilla Custard, once again ask for it "Adam Style". Julie will know what you mean.

Omg, guess what! I scored a 30ml bottle of smooth criminal as an express liquid! I never even bother looking at them because they never seem to be available... But I was bored waiting for the store to open.. clicked on SC and noticed the option to add to cart.. so I did. :) It's a little higher nic than I wanted, but I still use 18 too. So YAY now I wont have to wait until Halloween to taste the magic. Patience isn't my strong suit.

So I got.. peach wildwood, smooth criminal, gold rising and boba tea.. I requested one of the river trees as a sample. I guess I wasn't really sold on it considering wildwood is described as the new and improved version of river tree.. but I still want to try it though. And vecchio. Just not enough to buy 30ml of it.

What's the deal with Vecchio?

I have some steeping now about 2 and 1/2 weeks but I take it from these posts not much to look forward too
