Trust mem I am not a defender of HHs, but they're covered for as long as you have them. Send 'em back and they'll fix whatever.

Mr.M,

Not exactly. Sorry to take issue with you, but you've mentioned this more than once.

Hanna makes it clear in his instructional video that he will fix any HH357 that is "repairable," meaning that the atty still works but has issues or doesn't work and reads as an open circuit because of a bad connection. That's not the same as replacing a burned-out or popped coil. Once that happens, the HH357 can't be repaired, and you're SOL. So no, it's not "buy it once and have one forever." That makes sense to me, since replacing the coil is effectively like getting a brand-new HH357. Hanna might have a hard time making a living if he offered that kind of sweeping lifetime guarantee.

I filled out a ticket at Avid about my HH357 that failed after four months' use, and Hanna very politely responded that it sounded like the coil had given its last gasp and probably couldn't be repaired. He did state that I could ship the atty to him in a padded mailer, and that he'd look at it. If it could be repaired, he would, for the $5 return fee.

I'm certain enough that mine is dead that I see no point in spending $2 in postage to send it back.

Greetings! I've been enjoying Tasty Vapor juices, bought through Gentlemen's Reserve in BC, Canada.

I went directly to the Tasty Vapor site, and read up a little more on their Tobacco E-juice. This is what I found:

tobacco e-liquid.jpg

I'm now curious. Are all NET juices recommended for 24 mg and under for the best taste, or is it just this company's recommendation?

My first order for this juice was 32mg. Maybe I made a mistake in ordering such high nic content?

I like GoodeJuice at 32 mg. It's all up to you and what the vendor will actually make.

Oh, wow, that is totally different from what I was thinking.

I know. When you first posted about this, I was thrilled. Wow. What a deal! And for only $7 ($2 postage plus $5 to fix and return). I couldn't wait to resuscitate my now long-dead HH357!

I watched Hanna's instructional vid again and began to think that maybe you had misunderstood. But I filled out a ticket at Avid anyway, then had my suspicions confirmed by Hanna's friendly response.

Gee, I much prefer your interpretation of the repair/warranty policy...

Look forward to it, nothing wrong with Vecchio. It's a lot like Vurley, with a unique roasted vanilla bean taste, but less tobacco kick than Vurley.

I gotta agree with this, and it's why I ended up not caring for it. BUT, and this is a big but, Sir Mix-a-lot style, IF you do prefer a fast, hard draw the HH can't be beat with disposable atties. Best flavor and vapor I've experienced in a 510, but only works properly with the hard draw so get the vaccuum effect to work. I don't vape like that, so wasn't a keeper for me. If I did, my search for a topper would have ended with that.

Plus, lifetime warranty.. if it breaks they'll fix it for a few dollars.

If you want an incrdible 'disposable' 510, go to houseofvapor.com and get a "stingray". Hell, get 2. I've been using the same one for 5 months with a weekly 99%ISO (get it off amazon - $7.99 for 32oz.). No flavor loss, no performance reduction. Vapes like new. I have many new one I've compared it to.

A second would be SmartVapes - Electronic Cigarettes, Dripping Atomizer, E-Liquid and More!

I just went to the site and saw that there is "no warranty" with these, but I don't think that's the same thing as sending them, back for repair. YCY, any thoughts? I never sent mine back, though I was told I could at any point send it back.

I'd contact Hanna by doing a trouble ticket at Avidvaper. I'm not sure he covers popped coils, which typically happen because they weren't broken in correctly or kept wet. If they popped because they were defective, I imagine they would be covered. But he builds them himself by hand; there aren't a lot of defects.

None of Cisco's atties have a warranty per se, but Cisco and Hanna both are reasonable, customer-centric guys who typically take care of issues with a minimum of fuss.

Bill, I wish you did more NET reviews. No one reviews like you. Actually, I want a Bill clone to do a Big NET Roundup.

I've heard the VCV NETs are reverse steepers. Have you found that to be the case? I'm going to order from them in my next round of orders, some tobaccos and some desserts.

The only 'reverse steeper' from VCV is White Beard. I'm really not a fan of it past 1 month. Just gotta vape it quick. :vapor:

Looking forward to the MVP V2, too. MVP v1 has been a workhorse, is solidly built and lasts 2 days on a charge, plus fits well in the hand. V2 has resistance checker and wattage! Best bang for your buck.

Not to mention you can charge your iPhone/Android/Smart Phone with the MVP. It would charge my iPhone 5 twice and still allow a bit of vaping. But after ~ 6 months of daily iPhone charging it died.

If you can afford a Hana Modz DNA20 from 310vapors or Opus D20 from Nhaler.com do it!!!

Someone else just mentioned that too. Hmmm. Hear that Shat! You have $40 worth of bad HH's. Send 'em back.

Lolers, they're in a landfill somewhere. Like I said, they're for my stlye of vaping. I'm not down with sucking a golf ball through a garden hose. Vaping is relaxing to me. I'll take my HOV stingray, thankyouverymuch.

Quick advice sought.

Recommended steep time, if any, on GEJ Organic #1.

Thanks

GTG out of the mailbox. But it does get better significantly within a week. Put 3-5ml aside for a 4 week steep and see what you think. If your bottle won't last that long. Man, Organic #1 is a fantastic NET!

Thanks for your wisdom and guidance, MrMann! I'm still new on this journey, and it's good to know that I can get good, solid information here.

I talk too much to not get something right. LOL. Thanks, though. I can't wait to read your take on NETs.

It's okay at first, but when it turns the color of motor oil, it's the best. Basically, after a month the color deepens and it gets more flavorful. It was still my favorite at the beginning, but my appreciation grew into mania when the color changed. About a month or 2.

It is very underrated.

But then again, I don't have as much first hand experience with as many differing juices as others.
