Thanks for the code!

My "guilty" pleasure is Pink Label. I know this because when a smoker I didn't know asked to try my pv, he liked it and asked what the flavor was. I didn't say Pink Label lol, I said just some fruit mixture.

I, too, am guilty of this. I'm not saying I'm vaping G-Spot. But I have described Maha Ras as a belly dancer's genny.

Ha!

I was traveling with some roughnecks to a job site at the time. Saying I was vaping Pink Label would have been a great way to earn a not so friendly nickname. I was risking enough vaping some fruit concoction.

One thing about fruit vapes I noticed, strangers who never vaped tend to be impressed at how good they taste. I always point out there's lots of options to try including great tobaccos. The last stranger that asked was at a BOC concert a few weeks ago, a slightly drunk smoker. He said, wow tastes like watermelon. It was Magic Melon Medley from ThePlumeRoom that I've had a long time, since it was just so-so to me. I had even forgot what type of fruit it was suppose to be. I was very impressed a drunk smoker who's never vaped picked out the watermelon right away, especially since it's not in-your-face watermelon or very authentic. I couldn't have done that.

Without further adieu and with permission:

Re: Quantum Vapor Tobacco+

"First off, thank you for the comments. They are much appreciated.

As for the extracts. We do not extract our own tobacco. In a sense there is no such thing a natural tobacco flavoring aside from extracting the essence of tobacco leaves. This has a side effect in that you may extract the nitrosamines, known carcinogens, from the plant itself. Also, unless properly heated and filtered, nicotine can come into the mix and throw off the overall liquid. It’s a long difficult process.

Given that, our tobacco flavoring is a combination of other natural flavors to 'simulate' a tobacco like flavoring. This is why it has a nutty essence to it. In fact it's why almost all ecig tobacco flavors have that nutty flavor. Some more or less than others.

What we achieve is a clean taste which is all anyone can hope for. We would much rather use proven, natural/organic extracts that provide a clean taste than provide our customers with any level of the uncertainty that comes with self-extraction.

We are happy that you enjoy the tobacco+. Feel free to let us know if this helps and if you have any further questions or concerns. You may also call if you like :)

Kind Regards,
Eric
Team Quantum"

So not a NET, but definitely other extracts. I'm curious what is used, but I'm sure that's privileged information.

If this is true, then wouldn't it be safer to order "Heat macerated" rather than "cold macerated" from NET.com??

Yep, some flavors are absolutely spot on. Ahlusion is famous for it. To me at least. I'm surprised a drunk smoker called it, though.

What does the email from Quantumvapor.com have to do with NET.com?

Not trying to sound like/be an .... Sorry if I came across that way. I'm awful about that.

I think Ahlusion's aromatics do benefit by steeping...when I first got Blue Grass Burley, I thought someone through some grass in a bottle! After about 3 weeks of steeping, it has a wonderful smoky flavor. Just ordered Puresmoke, Paris, Morley and London from W2V and Yesteryear, H+ and 3 Crown from Naturally Ex. Tobacco., along with an order from GEJ and Parkes...should keep me trying things for a while!

I agree. Vurley also develops a bit. I don't think it's necessary like with the non aromatics hence why Wlad writes that note. It's been a while since I've bought an aro. Does he still say that?

Sorry, at first read, I thought the heat had something to do with removing the nitrosamines.

Ah, all good. Sometimes I have to re read 2 or three times. I had horrible reading comprehension as a child. I've worked through most of it, but if I'm in a hurry I need to be careful.

Jerms, another good arti-bacco is Nero Tobacco and Scotch Tobacco (honey cured w/ a hint of butterscotch-not the booze) from Juice Mafia. The Scotch Tobacco sounds like it'd be too sweet. But it's really not at all. Buttery is a good description.

I also have their Flue cured, Turkish, Peach Tobacco and Rosso Tobacco. I can't really comment on those yet, though. Really, it's too early to give any a really fair shot. But they're were all tasty the day I got them; yesterday. I'm vaping the Scotch Tobacco now. It's very enjoyable.

Nero: Nero Tobacco

Scotch: Scotch Tobacco

Thanks Shatner, I'll write those down.

Went on a FastTech spree. Unbelievable all I got for around $34 shipped. Got the all brass Sentinel clone (awesome looking mech) for only $18! Very little voltage loss from what I've read, comparible to ones that cost hundreds. Had to throw in a couple rebuildable drippers and eVods.

My QnJ shipped today. I just picked up larger bottles of Humpback from Notre Dame (or whatever it's called) and the Fire Cured in the Hole. Scarfy's stuff is in there too. She loaded up on a lot of QnJ. She'll get hers aprox a week after I get mine. I know she's jacked. Her and I like Proudest Monkey. She's my banana sister. :)

Also have all the pipe tobaccos coming from Clay. His ECF page should be up any time. That means we wont see him here (or on the HHV Army thread). :(

I gotta quit ordering juices. I have a year's supply here. Easily!

That's the one juice I keep trying to "win" on ModEnvy... I didn't know they made anything else besides the Peach and then Tropical Tobacco. Thanks for the links. Maybe I'll win a bottle next week.

You know you're ordering too much juice when you forget that you placed an order for some and it just shows up. 100ml of DF and 50ml HA were delivered to me by a friend yesterday.

There's another order for 100 ml of DF that went walkabout in the U.S that is due next week.

Then there's 3 x 30ml of Southern Gentleman and Apache that got shipped out yesterday from MOV's sale.

Add that to the 700 ml of HHV and 150 or so ml of MOV already on hand.. and yes, I have a lot of juice too.

I haven't even got around to ordering from QNJ and Clay. Double

Here's my latest mini-coil creation.. dual wires, one 31ga and one 30ga. 1.10 ohm with 16 total wraps (8 of each) on an IGO-L.

I'll make up for my shop talk by doing my review of Hey Jack tonight lol. Was just proud of this build.

Some of that juice will go bad before you can vape it. You have more than me Dust. But I'm not far behind.

When you comin' home?

I've been home since Saturday. All the juice is staggered, i.e ordered monthly. I've got batches going back to Feb, and for every month since.. ;)

Wow, thems a lot of wraps!

Is that a dual-micro-coil then???

I've been calling it a dual wire coil, but yes, dual interlocking coils. It's a mini-coil, the micro-coil pros limit "true" micro-coils to 1/16th inch (1.5mm) diameter, and mine are a little bigger since I use silica instead of rolled cotton.

I started using two wires so I could get more wraps at half the ohms to use on mechs. I was thinking that since some juices provide different flavor notes at different heat, what if I made a set-up where the wires heat at a different temps, combining the notes for a fuller flavor. The 2 different gauges side by side provide 2 levels of alternating heat, but I don't know yet if it actually tastes better. Vapes very well though!
