The rest of my epic night will have to be abbreviated because I am wipes out. I pulled DD! out after a month or so. I originally really likes it out of the mail, respected is more like it, but the spice was too much to enjoy long term. You have all been there...and here...when after steeped it balanced out and the flavors blended together. I suppose there are enough other reviews around on this to take it from here. Sufficed to say it is freaking excellent. Really good and worthy of its rep. Possible car analog replacement for me which is high praise. ADV? Tomorrow it gets the final test on that score...taking it and it alone on an all day outing in the summer so cal sun. We shall see...
Either way it is one I will keep in stock for sure.

Finally, got my first taste of vita Bella tonight. A couple few weeks old, so not brand new and not steeped over long. Wow. Need to take more than an hour with it to decide how much like it and where it fits if at all in my rotation. I can tell you this, I have never vaped anything like it. I should have stopped when I was ahead, because I gotta be up at 6 and now I am stumped and on the trail again. I know this flavor too. Childhood maybe...maybe a drink...or a smell? Is it from a family event? Not champagne, but was it a beverage...or something from an Italian family wedding? It does have an Italian name, am I on the right track? I know this for sure. I don't get much tobacco, but that might jut be because I am so damn focused on this flavor. It is a hit rich for me and doesn't read like any NET I have ever had. Odd and in I think a good way. Not sure how good of a way yet. I need time with this not only to figure where in my childhood I tasted this, but how much I like it. Damn, I am getting scenes of Italian churches and weddings and family from this. I WILL unravel this mystery, but no hurry. I need sleep and it gives me a welcome excuse to vape this for a few days anyways.

Haha, whereas Ravyn is a frustrating mystery for me Vita Bella is a pleasant, comforting mystery. It was received on the 11th, so little more than 2 weeks old. Nick's opinion is the tobacco blossoms at the 6 week point, so you may notice it more in a few weeks. My memory is that it takes on more of that GeJ funkiness, but it's been a while. It stays rich and dessertish.

I've never had a bibi, and you may be right with that connection, but keep in mind your comparing it to a memory of a brief experience from 10 years ago. I was sure I knew what it tasted like several times, and then next time that connection was completely gone. There's just so much competing and going on with that juice. I've heard it's a hodgpodge of some 40+ flavors with the extracted tobaccos. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised, based on how many different flavors I've heard it described as. Usually, I get Perique, and quite often blackberry and caramel. Whatever it is for sure, overall it's such a strange, scary, and tempting failure of a juice to me.

You dare question my powers of deduction or pee on the neck of my miracle??

;)

I don't care what anyone says, it is a dead in bidi. Anyone have a connection to the proprietor of Alice's? I have to know how many others came to the same conclusion and if that is what this flavor was intended as.

I've had that bottle for many months, and haven't figured out exactly what it reminds me of, and at times it's drived me crazy. You don't get to figure out what it makes you think of on the first night, that's just not fair :p :D

If you emailed them from their site you'll probably hear back, they are pretty friendly.

I wish I could properly explain what a miracle this was. I am so tripped out by it I can't sleep. One taste, 20 years ago, didnt know what they were them and have never heard of or thought of them since. Getting the taste is one thing, but the name might be even more amazing. I had to look the name up tonight to even be sure of the name, let one what it meant. I think if the name wasn't so unique and catchy I would have never gotten it

All over the place
I sit 90 degrees underneath palm trees
Smoking bidis as I burn my calories
Brooklyn rooftops become Brooklyn teepees...

Unfortunately, I used to smoke bidis. I was a freshman or sophomore in college when I messed with those, but from what I remember they are quite unique in taste. I vaped Rayvn once, but I don't really remember much about it. That's got to be a very well steeped sample.

Sure been quiet in here last couple days. Nothin wrong with that, never seems to stay that way for long. I like to think that there's maybe a couple people who, like me when I first discovered this thread, are taking the time to read from the beginning, reading a few pages when time allows. Periods of slow down like this they may be thinking.. whew; I just may catch up to the end after all... and then boom, a dozen more pages over a weekend.

Other than hitting up Vita Bella, which never fails to comfort me, I've been getting down with some non-NETs. Desserts and fruits, which I've gotten really picky on since they need to be done extremely well to keep me from thinking; I'd rather be vaping a NET. Luckily Ahlusion does me right with those. Soon gonna get more comfortable with the arti-baccos that I've ordered in the last month. But tonight I'm hitting up a TINO.

I'm not sure exactly what people are refering to when they use the term TINO (tobacco in name only). It seems to be used in different respects, sometimes as a put down of a juice or just used indifferently. Sometimes as a term for NETs that have little to no tobacco impact, sometimes for some or all arti-baccos, and sometimes for any juice that is sold under the tobacco tag but doesn't really taste anything like tobacco. Either way, TINO means.. well.. tobacco in name only about covers it (where's the beef?).

I don't refer to a NET as TINO; if there's little or no tobacco to be tasted I usually refer to it as having little or no tobacco impact. Most arti-baccos do taste like tobacco to me so not TINO, but in quite a different way than juices made from actual tobacco. For my purposes, I've relegated TINO into a specific category. That is, juices that are sold under the tobacco heading or described by the vendor as tobacco, but to my taste buds have neither extracted nor synthetic flavors that make me think tobacco in any way, shape, or form, and they almost always play like a dessert vape. They usually are very flavorful, and it can be hard to pin what flavors are noticed which results in many different claims of what people say it tastes like. Sometimes vaping a TINO I think; why put this under the tobacco category. Then I think; well, why not, doesn't really fit into any other category either. And sometimes I think, I can kind of see how this can play as tobacco.. but that thought often quickly disappears.

I've only had a handful of juices I qualify as TINO. The big ones are Boba's Bounty, Gold, and Bounty Hunter. I consider those three to be very well made, highly enjoyable juices, at times delicious even. Tobacco? No, just in name only. Back to what I'm vaping tonight, a very well-steeped Dorky Stud by Vapetrik. This version can't be bought any more; complaints of it being too sweet had RiP change the formula. Vaping it tonight, months old (forgot to write down it's age, so not sure exactly how old), it's the best TINO I've had. Fresh, it contains many , ummmm, incense type spice notes. Aged, those are still there, but like the level of sweet has toned down a lot. It's more straightforward dessert TINO now, fairly rich and flavorul with notes of graham, and subtle notes of something that makes it quite complex and unique.

I wouldn't normally recommend it to NETters, but I know plenty here dig juices like Gold from NLV on occasion. For fans of either Gold, Bounty Hunter, Boba's Bounty, or any TINO as I've described, I'd absolutely recommend it and consider it a must-try for that category. If you don't like it, let it age, maybe a deep sleep, and it may just surprise you.

I really like GeJ's Bull Durham. Pretty good for an arti. I get a 30ml whenever I order Patriot and VB. Come to think of it, that's the only arti TB flavor I get from a vendor. I try a different vendor each month when I order the NET's that I have found appealing. Problem is, that's a lot of different shipping charges. So I limit myself too one new vendor and one ADV vendor per month. I have W2V, GeJ and Qnic in rotation so far and this month is BWB's turn as a new to me vendor.

That's a good plan of attack :)

seeing how I haven't even gotten through the 3 vendors full menu yet, it's hard to branch out... even though it's tempting.

I'm not that ambitious to go through a vendors complete menu. I stick to tobacco juices 99% of the time. Menthol doesn't ring my chimes so they're out, and I'm not that fond of overly sweet tobacco juices. I pretty much stick to juices recommended here on the forum that appeal to my palate. I've been happy with most of my choices.

Page 4 today....

Good to see the NETty Awards arise from the ashes, though.

I opened up the airhole in my RDA a tad. It hits HUGE now, but it's an airier draw, too. Took about a day, and then a fresh battery to make me enjoy it :) But the flavor is spot on, a little better in fact, and I can feel the throat hit all the way down now.

Was enjoying Vita Bella, Organic #1 and Dragon's Fire.

Had to rinse finally, since the flavors were beginning to cross over.

I played with Vita Bella all weekend. It is tasty...I think. I like it...I think. I definitely know the flavor, but I couldn't pin point it as I was still exhausted by my Ravyn deduction. There is am almost eggy, custard type of richness to it. Almost an alcohol/spirit type of taste, which for me is a potential dealbreaker...but it isnt there every puff I am not sure I could vape this any time of day in any mood like my favorites. Still seems more desserty than anything else. Will I even reorder? Not sure. I fell back and forth between being seduced by it and bored by it...between feeling it was something extremely special and feeling it was just too sweet and not my thing. I get that really tasty vanilla custardy thing...what I am not getting is tobacco of any kind except the faintest of hints. Certainly not the "full, rich tobacco flavor" GEJ promises in the description of this juice. This is only 3 or 4 weeks old max though, so I guess I will put it away for a while. I like it and as is even I might reorder, but for some reason I am really on the fence with this. Your thoughts?

Eggy, custard type of richness is a good description, I get that too. Don't notice any alcohol type taste. I personally get a pretty good tobacco flavor from it, but yeah, is on the dessert side. Give it time to age and keep going back to it, more of a grower than a shower.

Dessert? Vita Bella to me is a smoky tobacco up front and center, with the rich vanilla secondary. I don't get any custard notes, unlike Shadow which is all creamy custard vanilla doughnut tobacco. Mine's at about 3 months steep.

But that's what makes this thread so much fun -- our individual opinions on the same.

Well this isn't just individual opinion on taste, I mean I am getting almost no tobacco at all and no smokiness either. I am putting it away for at least another month and then will come back to it and see if that changes. If tobacco steeped out up front and center I could see liking this a great deal.

True that, all of us interpret flavors in different ways and interesting to see how these work on different people. I like hearing experiences totally different than my own, it can help me notice different sides to a juice. Even if someone is tasting a juice totally different than me, I can often get a feel of how they got there.
