How often can someone work a Ghostbusters II reference into the NET thread?

Anyway, I stopped in at GeJ this afternoon and got Luigi to mix me up a 30 ml. bottle of 100% flavoring for each blackberry and black cherry...

now the question is, which NET's do I go with on the flavors? I think the black cherry might go well with either the Patriot or maybe even the Acadian, and the blackberry....not sure.

Oh, and for you DIY'ers, how much flavoring should I be adding per ml.?

Long have i sought a blackberry NET. Going to school up in Humboldt, I grew to love blackberries as my favorite fruit. I would recommend a good potent burley myself. In fact, that is what I suggested to clay and rumor has it NETCOM is actually working on a Blackberry Burley NET right this second!

Wolf, I'm not a DIYer but know a DYIer and he says around 5% give or take.

So I got my Apollo Sahara in and, well, it's Sahara (kinda). The first thing that caused me to raise an eyebrow was the hot pink color. Next was the aroma. Yep. I know where I've had this. It's so obvious it's a no-brainer. But, even though it's an exact match for the artifical flavoring in Ahl's Sahara, what's missing, once it's actually tasted, is the natural tobacco. It's quite amazing to be able to taste them back to back and be able to say with certainty that Ahl's Sahara is the one with the natural tobacco base.

Note- I am not saying who gets what from whom, but these are essentially the same liquids, save for the actual tobacco(which proves to be most important after comparing).

Agree. Sniffed it and was kind of taken back. Identical aroma. Inhaled, yeah still the same, exhaled, nope, the soul isn't there.

So I tried the blackberry in some Perique from GeJ, thinking hey, the sweet blackberry flavor might co-mingle with the natural funkiness of the Perique and give me a sweet funk.

It's uh....how do I describe it....

yuckidyyuck_webb.jpg

Yeah, ^ that. Not so good. It sweetened the funk but I'm beginning to think the funk needs to stay funky all on it's own.

Great way of putting it. For anyone looking for a NET version of Apollo's Sahara, but with much more complexity and actual tobacco, try Ahlusion's. Oh yeah, Apollo's 30 mL of this liquid is $18.95. Vaping this liquid before vaping Ahl's Sahara actually makes Ahl's taste better than it did.

I think when you add a concentrate to a juice, it changes a lot after a few days, so I've read it's best to do small samples, keep track of you %, and try it again later. I believe the flavors really bloom, so if it seems light it may be perfect in a few days, and if it seems right it may be nasty in a few days. Keep in mind, I've never DIY, so I may have no idea what I'm talking about. I have heard quite a bit that a sure way to ruin a juice is too much flavor. Concentrates are STRONG.

I'm glad I stuck with the RY4. I'm sure I would have enjoyed Sahara.. but I already have Sahara BLEND.

That much extract should last a good amount of time, I'd start with ~2% extract per bottle and not more than 4%; 30ml bottle = .6ml of extract, that should give you a complimentary background flavor. Before Vaping, I'd sit it on a sunny window sill for a day, allowing the extract to blend with the Tobacco. If your using a 6ml bottle to test, I'd go 3-4 drops per 6ml to start.

Blackberry is a fairly strong Fruit extract and can hold up with either Tobacco, same for Black-cherry.

This. Try it a drop at a time, shake the living daylights out of it, and give it at least 48 hours before tasting. Yes it is a pain but vaping it right away is not going to give you a true representation of what the final taste is.

Good evening NETizens! Here's a review of Ahlusion's Cocoa Blend, Maple Burley, and Sweet Georgia Peach. All of them are what you'd expect from Ahlusion's flavored aromatics -- wonderful tobacco with a complementary flavor that's masterfully blended. Special thanks to Tez for letting me try his Cocoa Blend a few months ago. That was a most pleasant surprise. I didn't pay much attention to that one because I was thinking "chocolate" and not "cocoa." The bittersweet cocoa plays off the burley and Virginia tobaccos wonderfully, bringing out the earthy tones. All three of these are great NETs, but Maple Burley ended up being my favorite, even though it was different from what I was expecting.

OK,Net related post here - W2V Paris to be exact - I notice the juice in my Pro Tank gunks up and gurgles after half is vaped. I added 100% pure VG from CVS to the leftovers (which were thin in flow) and the quality of vape returned. Any one else have this issue or tried this work around?

Vendor: Mom and Pop Vapor Shop
Liquid: American Blend
Thoughts: Described as "it tastes just like you would expect tobacco to taste, just a little woody, a little caramel, nothing too overpowering." I find this flavor to be very tobaccoish while not quite a tobacco I can put my finger on. While your mind will instantly say "this is a tobacco liquid" I don't know how quick you will associate this with a specific tobacco. It tastes very close to Vermillion River Kentucky Blend. It is a lighter taste as the website describes without a specific tobacco flavor.

Sounds good I think I will try this one

Great review my friend. SGP is the only one I've had of the three. I still have a lot of aromatics to try, and that maked me happy. When all the new ones came out I was going to get them all right away, but I'm glad now that I'm spacing them out. The Maple Burley I'll be trying soon, really looking forward to that one. I never get excited about chocolate or cocoa vapes any more; I go in very skeptical and it's up to the juice to convince me. Cocoa Blend may do that.

I noticed you brought up vapability when talking about performance. For my reviews I have a vapability section that I talk about how often and for how long I want to vape it. I realize now that could also be the section to bring up any performance comments I have, as how well it vapes is indeed another way to look at vapability.
