And therein lies the problem. :( Never know what you're going to get if it's been 3 months or so since your last order. :(

Gosh darnnit, if I order Legend, I want to receive Legend, not something else "in the Legend family." Same with Shadow, or with Dragon's Fire.

Le sigh.

Maybe that's why the descriptions for the tobaccos are so vague, what's a cherry pipe (Legend to me) might be a coffee pipe (Serendipity to me) next time. I wouldn't be happy if I ordered Legend, which is a reorder for me, and received Dragon's Fire which I didn't care for. Whatever company they get the extracts from for some reason struggles with consistancy.

I personally don't like NET.com's Black Cavendish much, because as far as I can detect, it's a straight tobacco with no other flavorings. On the other hand, the vanilla and tobacco combination in Coventry makes it something that's right up my alley. I swear that when I vape it, it almost feels like I'm smoking tobacco from a waterpipe/hooka. I wonder how it would taste with extra extract.

What's weird is that I agree with you about Black Cav seeming like a straight-up tobacco, but Black Cav is heavily flavored (and double fermented). It would seem that for whatever the reason, this Black Cav is hefty on the tobacco and easy on the casings. I dig it. HHV uses a lot of Black Cav and I know theirs is flavored up the wazoo.

You spoke of how well-aged Huntsman turned on you; I just tried to vape some 8-month old Dark Horse last night (I loved Dark Horse!), and I swear it now tastes soapy. Bleaaach! I almost suspect I've been spoiled by the super clean juice that Ahlusion makes; others seem to use a funkier, "oilier" VG (even though I only order 30%VG, I do think that's what went south in my old Dark Horse.)

That whole "Legend family" or Gandalf 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 business is for the birds.

Have you had Chris' Blend Mann? Wonder how similar Black Cav is to this one.

I will leave this one to MM to explain...sufficed to say it is the black cav blended with Turkish and Virginia

That said I totally forgot about it. It was the first juice I tried from Clay and I really liked it. Weird. I have to find some and try again!

My review is here: Chris' Blend

Nice review BJ. I see Bronze got some caramel and nut notes with it. It'll take me a bit to discover what this juice has to offer, which I like; very complex. Just need to absorb the new flavor to be able to see what else is there.

Black Cav is sweeter on the inhale and once the vapor has been exhaled (a little different than simply "the exhale"). Chris' Blend seems to have more more complex mid notes with less on the upper register. I almost get a touch of a caramel sweetness from Chris' Blend, but I just tried it for the first time (my take is SUPER early). I will say this, once I get a new set-up and I am not afraid of blowing out a perfectly great little atty, I will be vaping these liquids with wild abandon.

So far, my experiences with these liquids have been nothing short of positive. Some are better than others of course, but I have not had one (I've tried 4 now) that was wack.

Oh yeah, mine are 50/50 heat @ 24 mg.

Thanks Mann. Yeah my quick taste of them all fresh was mostly positive too, BA ManVan, Coventry, and Balkan being a quick match to my pallette; Y+ tasting just like Blondie, which I expected and is a good thing. Just Chris' and Big Spirit needed time to figure out before deciding on.

I have been playing around with micro coils and decided to try one in my mini protank II. Also, I found an eBay seller that has Ekowool with cotton yarn inserted. The combination of micro coil and this super absorbent Ekowool is fantastic in RBA's and RDA's. In an EVOD. T3S Mini or Protank I find that I don't have to dry burn after every NET use. Also, having to replace a rolled cotton wick after each use was a drag. Now I only have to dry burn after 3 tankfuls.

I had decided on BCC's for a clearomizer quite awhile ago. I think they are superior to other styles. This new combination is giving me the best vape available bar none, IMHO.

Here's the url for the wick :

I am glad I resisted female dogging about the extensive RBA discussion here of the last week (A - because they were specific to NET and B - because I don;t feel the need to prove what a hole I can be every second of the day) because now *I* have a question specific to vaping NET's.

You will never get any "female dogging" from this girl, BJ. You need to get what YOU need to keep off the smokies.

I look up to you, and all the great ladies and gents her on this thread, for your honest reviews on what you're trying in NETs, and for the best equipment suited for enjoying them.

Thanks for being here and sharing with us :)

Thanks, though I have had others shocked at those pics. I don't give a rat's ...., I just want them to be worth the purchase and what I wanted. I guess I have to deal with HHV now as if I never had them before. So I have to ask a newbie question (since I am no longer familiar with them), how long do these liquids take? I don't doubt that they will get better, but roughly how long?

Mr.Mann I'd suggest a couple of days in the Sunniest window you have for a "Speed Steep", I don't know if it's the light or heat, but it's worked for me on a few DIY liquids I wanted to test. Since your liquid is not vape-worthy you've got nothing to lose besides 48 hours.

I'm interested to hear your thoughts on Yesteryear, 3-Crown and The Boss... I have been wondering if I'm the only one that finds those kind of bland. Though it should be noted that I was never a cigar smoker.

The only one of the three I've had was the Boss, in Cold & Heat extraction, Coventry, H+ Yellow-Tail, Gold & Dover Court were the other juices in my order, all 5ml bottles.

Heat extracted was first, with very little steep time, about 3-4 days, a very light, mild & dry straight Cigar with a decent TH @15mg Nic, not sure of the PG/VG Blend (70/30?), it did enhance a Synthetic RY4 I was vaping. The Cold Extraction steeped ~ 1 month, still mild & dry with more straight Cigar flavor, reminded me of the Greenish-Brown wrapped Cigars and I found it tasty enough.

I'm embarrassed to say the only other flavor vaped so far was Dover Court, again steeped only 4-5 days, IIRC, it was a mild Tobacco, good TH and though light on taste, due to the lack of steep time IMO, it was a Harmonious blend of Virginia and Vanilla Cavendish.

The remaining juices will be vaped in the next week or two, ~10 weeks steep time and they've darkened nicely. From previous posts by others, I'd guess a 3-4 week steep brings out the best in this Vendor's offerings.

Jerms, thanks for asking about CB vs. BC! It felt good to be able to consult my stash about a liquid that wasn't even opened. Now that's the life!

Haha yes, a couple times the first time I've tried a flavor was when someone asked about it. Being juice rich can be nice.

Right now I have over 25 flavors that just got moved into rotation; a good 2/3 I haven't even tasted yet. Feels awesome, like I have a box full of surprised to discover, opinions to make, and emotions to feel.

After vaping Chris' blend for a little I grabbed my poor MountainOakVapor Chai Tea Latte. Poor because it came from an order made months back and they rest in that order are gone while that remained untasted. It is....... amazing! It has noticable cinnamon that wasn't in Ahlusion's Chai Latte; and I'm glad that cinnamon, this one at least, vapes awesome for me. Very creamy too like I like my Chai Lattes.

This would be awesome combines with.... yep.... tobacco!

Twik is the creation of my buddy Mark, formerly known on ECF as Mouiex. Pretty sure Mr. Mann has run into Mark around the Ahlusion cafe once or twice too.
