I just received on Tuesday from N-E-T.com the following:
Big Spirit - tastes great, very good tobacco flavor.
Speaking Spirit - interesting tobacco flavor... the Perique add a touch of sweetness to the blend.
NS Dark - good body and smoky tobacco flavor. Gonna wait till it steeps for a while.

Gonna try these after I do a speed steep using my new ultrasonic device when it arrives tomorrow via FedEx.

i have some well steeped HHV like 3 months. Huntsman is more woody and grassy and therefore most TH for me. Shadow and Legend are very tasty and smooth but light, those are my favs from HHV. Dark Horse is not bad but may not reorder. Swish gets mixed with other juices and does taste like cherry chapstick tobacco. All of these i find better than Plume Room smooth and mild, M type, Ramaglia. then i found out they were not pure NETs. makes sense to me

So what do you guys think is better HHV or ahlusion? I'm gonna try the latter next and realize this is a loaded question. Then I might try mt oak then gej. So much to pick from lol. Also heard aroma e juice was good

both are really good
I keep both in my rotation but Ahlusion is my number 1 vendor

but taste is subjective as they say

I think HHV's stuff is very much like tobacco. I haven't found anything from ahlusion that is as close but then again I've only tried their Smooth Criminal, Peachy Criminal and Apple House Blend. HHV Legend and Dark Horse are pretty darn good. Going to try a couple other HHV juices soon.

try smooth criminal after 8 weeks steep
try gold rising
and anything from the aromatic line

for a good tobacco kick if you can handle it
many find them to be too aggressive a tobacco but I love em

If you like halo tribeca you will appreciate what ahlusion did with Gold Rising.

Well Smooth Criminal definitely has no tobacco kick...yet. Peachy Criminal has no kick either but I do enjoy the peach kick it does have.

Ill wait a bit longer and try Smooth Criminal again.

Yep I like Tribeca so I will have to look into Gold Rising but I'm really an HHV Legend type...real earthy tasting tobacco with a hint of sweet.

I was just vaping a carto-tank full of Torque 56 and just couldn't continue it. Had to dump it out. I guess I've lost my taste for it.

I am facing the same dilemma between ahlusion and HHV for my next try. I have some kind of funky sinus thing going on right now, I think it might be quitting related, but I can't be sure of taste right now (only about 4 weeks into quitting analogs). Anyway, I just got my GeJ Vita Bella, Analog, GJ4, and Patriot. I liked all of them right out of the mailbox on a joye 306, but can tell they all need to steep for some time. I like GJ4 the best so far and loaded that into a clearo for two tanks worth. There's just something about that one - I swear it's got some kind of eggy or vanilla custardy type taste that is delicious, but a little rough around the edges and probably needs to steep.

back on topic - There are so many NETs I want to try, so I think I am just going to knock them down based on who has the best new years sales, unless you all convince me there is just ONE vendor I must absolutely try next :vapor:

Hi BecknCO.

Yes, the first few weeks (months) after quitting cigarettes does some strange things to your body as you begin to heal. Your tastebuds might still be numbed from the cigarette chemicals, and need constant care, strong flavors and rotation of flavors to keep them active. Sinuses will clear, and you might cough up a lung or 2 ;)

I hope you enjoy your GeJ order. GJ4 is a nice RY4 NET (tobacco, caramel, vanilla), and Vita Bella has a nice vanilla custard flavor mixed with a smoky tobacco that is either a love it or hate it juice. Analog is my current favorite, along with Organic #1.

Goodejuice was my first order after I began with HALO, and soon after that was Heather's Heavenly Vapes -- and I still enjoy all of those vendors 8 months later. Don't worry about those 1000 of vendors and 100,000 juices available. Just research through the forums and threads and Youtube videos, plus the vendors description to find flavors you will enjoy vaping. Don't worry that everyone is talking about this juice or that -- just find something you like, that excites and satisfies you. That's all that really matters.

Hey Jef

Yeah I think I have already surpassed my savings from smoking buying vape gear, but at least I should be good on the hardware front for a while. It took me about two weeks before I realized that the joye ego C kit was not going to cut it. This completely sucks that I can't totally taste my juices just yet. I get hints of it here and there, and mostly smell it and taste nothing :( It's funny I don't remember anything like this when I quit before for 4 months cold turkey.

I've got some hangsen menthol sensation for this stage in the process, and it's doing ok. At least I can taste some things some of the time, and I am vaping up mediocre to crappy juices in the meantime while my GeJ, Boba's and Europe VT3 steep some more. Thanks for the encouragement. I really feel like I need that lately. It's been so easy for my fiancee - she's happy with hangsen USA mix and nothng else. I've been rotating through like a madman!

Just did a little reading of the recent posts to see what has been going on in the NET thread world. Good to see many familiar faces still hanging around.

Couple things.....

Regarding tobaccoextracts.com. I contacted them about 6-7 months ago after Mr. Mann turned me onto the site. I talked with a lady named lisa there many times. They really had no clue when it came to e-liquid what so ever. They sent me samples of several of their extracts which I mixed with PG/VG and they were horrible. Their extracts are really meant for entirely different purposes such as enhancing large amounts of commercial tobacco from what I gathered. I was trying to work with them to produce something that would work for e-cig and NET lovers. I went as far as sending them an e-cig and about 10 different NETs to give them something to go off of in attempting to enter the NET world. Talks with them and any further progress fizzled. Don't really foresee anything beneficial in the NET world coming from them but who knows.

Thanks! I haven't heard back from them yet. But it sounds like I shouldn't keep my hopes up...

Hey E! Regarding the 3.1 counterfeit.... I have a legit 3.1 and a FT 3.1. Its sad but honestly the clone is pretty much the exact same minus some small details. Parts are even interchangeable. This is the first replica that I have bought but I was just too curious to pass it up considering my 3.1 is my favorite tank Ive ever had. I haven't had any issues with the Deck on mine yet but I got it right around thanksgiving and it came with the plastic window so it may be a newer version. With replicas like this coming out Im not sure what this means for higher end Mod and Atty companies but it doesn't look good. The Aqua was replicated less than a week after coming out.

That's a pretty good endorsement for the FT 3.1. I'm keeping that one in my mind when the time comes to upgrade my tanks!

So lastly I have some questions and comments regarding Goodejuice...

Im sure it has been discussed but I was surprised to see that they now offer wholesale to anyone who is willing to order over $300. I don't really know what to think of this. I spoke with Nick a few months ago because I was interested in wholesale but he said he was thinking about it but wasnt really into offering it. And now he offers it to everyone which seems like a very strange business practice.

Also, my last order with them was probably about 2-3 months ago and consisted of 30ml Natural Perique, 30ml Patriot, 6ml Grasshopper, 6ml Analog. Analog was horrible for me. After reading some recent posts about it I feel better because others have stated the same thing I felt. It seemed like a synthetic to me. I didn't like it at all. Grasshopper was a total miss as well. It had a synthetic quality to me and the chocolate and mint was very artificial tasting to me. I didnt like it at all. Natural Perique was fine but the strangest part of this order was the fact that Patriot had a strangely synthetic taste to me as well. I have vaped more Patriot than any other liquid and it has been my favorite NET for quite sometime but it seem totally off to me last time I ordered it. Anyone else had a similar experience recently??

I got my last order from GeJ about 5 weeks ago. I had both the Grasshopper and the Analog in that order too. You probably saw my recent post about Analog tasting very synthetic to me too. But the Grasshopper was actually pretty good for me, the chocolate and mint was very natural tasting to me. I was actually worried about them tasting kind of chemically before vaping it, but afterwards, I was pleasantly surprised.

I wonder if there is some kind of cleaner/solvent residue tainting some of the batches. Maybe someone close to Nick should mention this to him?

I can tell you this much - I just got analog and a few other Gej flavors, and while my tate buds are shot for the foreseeable future (something is going on with my sinuses I think due to quitting smoking), my chica is like a friggen super taster or something. While she didn't like it, she did pick out about 4 different flavors going on, but no chemically-like taste. This was an order we just got in about 3 days ago. So if there was a problem, it was probably fixed.

Picked up my Kayfun Lite I bought from Shatner last night. First build with XC-116, second build a micro with cotton. First build was decent; second with 28ga Kanthal micro at 1.1 ohms with cotton wick.. boom. Just like I've read, hassle free, perfect wicking, reliable, and most important.. flavor. Yep, I drank the kool-aid, flavor when set-up right is just as good as my small drippers. Not almost as good or good enough, but equal.. in a tank.. as good as dripping......... wow. Easily replacing my on-the-go set-up, and with flavor this good I need to get another to use at home. Also need one of those clear tank sections so I can see how much juice is in there. So far I've rocked Caramel Wild Wood and Smooth Criminal it it. Looks purdy on my Chemmy..

my little Analog Tob sample did not taste so good at first but after a month or so i went back and wow! love this. Vita Bella didnt require as long but also benefited from steeping. Patriot is the one i like least now but i dont like perique and i taste something like that in there.

GeJ is real tobacco vape. HHV would leave me wanting more if i had no other tobacs, but they are good smooth light tasty tobacs for something diff. have Ahlusion blue grass burley and SC steeping. i got 30mL of SC sight unseen based on yall but i think it will be worth it.

Welcome to the Kayfun Lite club. I've got 3 and they are pretty much in use 100% of the time. The only time I don't use them is when drip-testing new juices.

I use 28 micros and organic cotton yarn for my builds (cotton yarn boiled for 20 minutes) and can do a swap of the wick in a couple minutes. The yarn helps to keep the thickness of the wick consistent as opposed to cutting or ripping strips off cotton balls.

The KFL should have come with a clear tank section. Did it get damaged? Wondering why Shat would not have included it with your package?
