Vaping Fire Cured Burley from NET.com tonight. Bold yet smooth Burley flavor with excellent smokiness. Like many Burley juices, it has just a touch of tobacco sweetness. Very interesting and very enjoyable.

How long was this steeped Johni? I tried my FCB Heat extracted when I first got it and it was like being slammed in the jaw by Tyson. Huge flavour but packing a mean punch.

I can't remember if I ever worked up the nerve to try it again. :D

BWB is another on my list to try. You guys probably already know this, but I asked Mrs. Brew which were NETs and she said Backo, Casa, the 555's, and Honey Flue. I'd like to give all of this a shot, and I'm just foaming waiting for any new years deals to drop - although I think if it's all the same, I'll still give ahlusion the next nod

It's at least a couple of months old Dusty. The rough edges have definitely smoothed out and it has become very good IMO.

If you try it again and don't like it, PM me. I'm sure I have something here to swap.

Dusty, I thought you like Latakia vapes. And I had the impression that FCB would be along similar lines but with less smokiness. I never had pure Latakia nor FCB. I'm making correlations from my Balkan impressions -- am I "predicting" incorrectly ? :)

Thanks fellas - just added JG blend to my ahlusion list (I'm sure it's better than the hangsen mocca i've been vaping with my coffeee :). Hey Jerms - can you link your review for me please? I really hope they have a sale for new years - I have Bluegrass Burley, Devil Dog, Gold Rising, Smooth Criminal, JG Blend, and Mango Lassi (obviously not a NET, but I love mango lassi) on my list to try.

Sure, here it is.. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=437487

ALL those Ahl juices you listed I really liked a lot. They've had a 20% off sale since.. Christmas eve maybe? It's automatically applied in the cart, no idea if it's still on.

I do like Latakia vapes and like I said, I tried it as soon as I got it. I think part of the reason for not trying it again is that I'm probably going to have to go back to dripping FCB and Balkan. They take too much of a toll on the coil/wick in a Kayfun Lite, and I'm enjoying the KFL too much to go dripping again. :D

Dammit Jerms. Now you did it. Just ordered JG Blend, Smooth Criminal, Blue Grass Burley, Devil Dog, Gold Rising, and got a sample of Mango Lassi. I couldn't resist the 20% off and free shipping - that was a great deal (I hope hehe) :p

Went to a soft opening of a friend's vape shop in San Gabriel Valley yesterday. Sandwiched between that were visits to four other stores...and only one of them had a NET (Ahlusion Smooth Criminal). While I love that variety and quality of NETs available online, sometimes I wish more local stores had them so I can pop in and pick one up when the mood arises.

In other news, a pair of NETs are covered in my latest Ahlusion review. NETizen Jerms gets a very special shoutout in the video below.

Raymond,

You make every other video reviewer look like a rank amateur. Your reviews are informative, concise, and very well-produced. Plus, you don't vape on-screen, thank heaven.

Agreed. I watch hardware vids from a few reviewers to learn about how well something works or how to get the most out of it, but R's the only juice video reviewer I actually use for juice recommendations and watch on a regular basis.

I think reviews of any kind are only worthwhile if the reviewer speaks from experience and researches topics discussed for accuracy. Ray does both, and it makes for trustworthy reviews. And just as important for juice reviews, he vapes them for a while before reviewing instead of vaping them for the first time on camera to give a first impression and then call it a review.

Many who post in the review sections are admittingly amateurs who are doing it for fun, which is fine of course, but I think it would benefit those sections for the amateur reviewers to put some effort into research and time thinking about the flavors like the pros like Ray do to make the reviews more meaningful.

Very awesome review Ray, and thanks for the shoutout! :)

I agree totally with your take on Gold Rising. While I did like it a lot, I probably won't reorder it as I like Honey Cured better for an Ahlusion honey tobacco. And thanks for pointing out how it's not an RY4. Some defend that claim saying maybe Wlad vaped the original RY4 and he must be right that it's a take on RY4 because he's an expert. Well, people who have vaped the original RY4 plus dozens of old-school and new-school RY4s can attest that none are a honey tobacco and Gold Rising is purely a honey tobacco. As for saying it may be his take on Ruyan#4, that may or may not be true, but it doesn't change that Ruyan#4 is a totally different flavor than RY4 even though the names look similar, so if that's true the claim in the description of GR being a take on RY4 is still false. It may look like I'm being petty, but I do think it would be good for Ahl to update that description so people don't buy it expecting RY4.

Vecchio, sadly, I maybe didn't give it the chance it deserved. Mann sent me some well aged VB, and I quickly judged it as Vurley lite so mixed it with Sweet Georgia Peach without giving it time. VB was really good, but I've never vaped Vurley thinking I would prefer less tobacco; it may have won me over on it's own terms with time, so I'll give it another go sometime.

I like Ray's reviews too. But he sure talks a lot about urine.

Haha! Another great review Raymond- thank you. I'll echo the other sentiments that you do it very professionally and don't vape on screen "so you can see the vapor production" - that's like eating on camera and talking with your mouth full of food  Thanks to you and the rest of the netizens I knew not to expect an ry4 with gold rising. I'm looking forward to getting my ikenvape ry4 gold pg today for that fix (thanks to mr billherbst's recommendation) .

You guys have really been a huge help for a noob like me wanting to try out some premium NETs. Just last night I was finally able to taste the funkiness of perique in GeJ Patriot. I would have never known or appreciated any of this without you guys, so thank you very much to all for your expert insight and guidance.

I'm already a bbq and fly fishing nerd - like I needed another obsession!
