Dammit - see this is what I was concerned with. I've been meaning to try HHV, but after reading how they did Mr. Mann last year, and the inconsistentcy being reported, I'm just not sure. I also hate being price gouged and I'm a veteran deal hunter. Ugh...I need consistency or some type of confidence that what I try as a noob will be the same dang juice you all rave about. I hope Ahlusion does me right since I dropped a good bit of cash for quite a few flavors. Every thread on them seems to instill confidence and consistency in their products. Also, Wlad did a helluva great customer service job with me the other day, so far, so good.

The thing about HHV, they are kind of the only place to get the style they have. They are on top with dessert tobacco NETs that have a silky mouthfeel and somewhat addicting flavor. I think anyone who gets into NETs would do themselves a favor to at least try a sample pack from HHV. You may not like it, many don't, but if you do you just may REALLY like it. For someone who's only into straight, unsweetened tobacco, HHV could be safely passed on though.

I can go periods without having HHV on hand, but I still like to have them in my ever changing rotation even if it's not all the time.

Yes. I really like Shadow as well. Only one I really did not care for that I can think of was Serendipity. It was Ok but I don't think I will order it again. Looking to branch out and try some new stuff. I am sure there are a lot of new vendors that I probably have not tried. I have been vaping HHV for quite some time now and as much as I spend there I do not like that no matter how much you buy you do not really get much of a discount and there is no loyalty program or coupons EVER!! I spend probably close to $200 a month there between my hubby and I. I have tried The Plume Room and W2V as well as GoodEjuice and a few others. Just looking to find what else I might like that is out there.

It's been addressed here and I too think it's a shame given their customers' loyalty.

I would still say you should try them though as they have a lock on a pretty unique-to-them flavor profile (where do they find those extracts? LOL). And also let me say that how they "did" me was no different than how many "top" vendors do their customers. I hesitate in speaking like this, but a lot of my issue with that little (and it was little) situation is that I had a personal relationship with them way before they were on the map--and part of them being on the map was based on certain, ahem, people in the beginning heralding and vouching for them with a megaphone. Frankly, I just felt slighted--part ego and partly based on knowing the role that Luce and I played way back yonder.

Note: I never actually asked for a replacement, but once I was told (before I got around to asking for a replacement) that I should just order it again but with more extract, I washed my hands of it.

HHV and the KFL are taking me further and further from the straight tobaccos, because I'm "dripping" so rarely these days. My bottles of Apache and Balkan are just sitting here as they gunk up coils so quickly. Meanwhile, HHV's juices let me go 3 or more days without maintenance and seem to be in my rotation more often than not.

Huntsman, Legend and Heavenly Tobacco are in my top tier, followed by everything else I have. I'm resting H1N1 and the recent Arti's from MOV for a few weeks before I try them again..

Ok jerms...... Quick question, went to check out those MOV flavors how dark are those juices fresh from the bottle? The "tasting tanks" at the store I went to all tasted burnt and nasty lol juices were darker than coca cola. As a matter of fact almost all of the 20+ MOV flavors I sampled tasted scorched like somebody really cranked up their mod when using these mini clearomizers lol only one employee at the store and he wouldn't fill new clearo for me to sample. Needless to say was a disappointing trip. But really, are those juices (Southern Gentleman and Pendragon) really that dark? I guess I will brave the rain and head down to HHV tomorrow as they are closed on sundays. Oh yea btw the store I went to sells MOV for $12.99/ 15ml lol much more economical to order online even with shipping :D

I'd probably cross a brand off my list to try if I had that experience. I would think they would want store samples to be a good representation of their product. Is that an MOV store or a store that sells MOV juices along with other brands?

No idea what went on, if those juices really were ruined or what. I've never got burnt or nasty from any of their juices.

Southern Gentleman and Apache were pretty dark, the rest lighter from what I remember.

"Tasting tanks," as in already used/heated liquid? Sanitary much? LOL. If Steve reads this, I'd like to get his word on that in PM. Maybe I'll give him a shout.

Southern is a light honey brown in color, as is Pendragon. Shame that you did not get to sample them properly. Perhaps carry a dripping Atty or two with you the next time you're there. I'm glad that I'm not in close proximity to these vendors or I'd be popping in weekly. :)

Tell Adam and Heather Hi! from Dusty when you visit them tomorrow.. Definitely try Huntsman, Legend, Dragons Fire and even though not a net, give Heavenly Tobacco a try too.

Just a store that sells MOV juices along with a few other brands. But almost all of the flavors were scorched tasting the pendragon actually tasted like a burnt cig .... fresh from the ashtray. Well thats kinda harsh I know but was so stoked about finding them locally. I will just order a sampler direct to see if that store is staying off of my shopping locations. I don't begrudge any business making money, but like mvp2 was 89.99 I paid 60.00 less than 5 miles from them lol oh well still have a 30ml of long bottom leaf from steam cigs to go through :)

Yeah, that is not how those liquids should be tasted. That, if I may say so, is a goofy ... practice for letting people sample a flavor. I have zero qualms with saying you still have yet to try MOV. That is not to say that you'll like them though.

Ahhh ok. I've never been to a B&M, none in my area. Glad to here it wasn't an official MOV store that presents products like that (if MOV even has any?) I think I would stay away from any community clearos.

Yeah, give them try by ordering online.

Right? I would think at the very least to use atties with disposable drip tips so juice can be dripped fresh. Community clearos just seems like a nasty way to do things.

Anybody here try the GrizzleyVapes line at SteamMonkey? They started out with just a couple complex flavors, Nanner Bear and Koko Bear, but have added some more. The descriptions talk about a multistage process when it's crafted to stabalize the flavors, so it doesn't need to steep and has a long shelf life.

I've read of a few notable ECFers who are big fans of the line, including LastTango who's opinion I find worthwhile. To make things more interesting, the guy who makes them is a flavor chemist, which is a good sign. Interests me enough to add them to my future orders list.

Checking them out now, I see some more flavors added, including this one.. http://www.steammonkey.com/Simple_1_by_Grizzly_Vapes_p/j-simp1.htm Yep, a straight tobacco flavor, now I'm really curious. There's no mention on the process or type of tobacco used, whether NET or synthetic. If synthetic, I wonder if what's used is a unique flavor made by the maker instead of commercial tobacco flavoring. Since they are said to have an extremely long shelf life I kind of doubt it's NET, but maybe it's a well done arti or very unique?

Not buying juice for a while, so won't try them for a while, but GrizzleyVapes is on my radar.
