I picked up a bottle of Volcanoecigs tobacco Pure, I read on their website that this juice contains carcinogens.

"*Special Note: This flavor is made using actual tobacco leaves to create a flavor concentrate. This makes this flavor the closest representation of a traditional tobacco cigarette flavor possible. However, since tobacco leaves are used, this flavor does include tobacco specific carcinogens called nitrosamines."

Any other vendors that extract from tobacco leaves state anything similar?

Nicotine patches and sprays and gum from Big Pharma also contain nitrosamines (tobacco-specific nitrosamines, or TSNAs). Everything derived from tobacco (including nicotine) has itty bitty trace amounts of TSNAs; the issue is, can you possibly ingest enough of the product to be able to bring those amounts within loud shouting distance of carcinogenic/biological effect?

I have seen this reviewed in on other parts of the sight but I thought I would do one for the tobacco page.

Review: Halo Purity, Turkish Tobacco, 12mg. Using 1000ahm Ego with Carto.

First time ordering from Halo, so I am a noob to their juices.

Really like the flavoring of the juice, tastes similar to a camel or pre 1960's European cigarette, before burley took over, slight woodsy taste over all a great all day vape.

Just a heads up, none of the Halo eliquids are natural tobaccos. They do have a huge business and loyal fans but they are artificial

Well, I can say for sure now, I just filled a tank with the Organic from GeJ:

Vendor: GoodeJuice
Juice: Organic Tobacco #1
Thoughts: I don't like this one *quite* as much as I like vaperite's organic NET, in terms of flavor, but the "cleanness" of this juice makes up for that. It had a somewhat strong perfume quality at first, kind or like vaperite's tuscany, but that seems to have faded somewhat. The flavor is more complex, and a little "dirtier" than VR's organic but is also less subtle. TH is strong, but not too harsh, though definitely harsher than the VR organic. It probably tastes and feels the most like an actual cigarette of any juice I've yet tried. Though it does have that perfume quality, and I rarely liked that in an actual cigarette. If the perfuminess fades more, I think it will leave a nice earthy quality that may make me like it even more.

After just finishing (and heartily enjoying) my first tank-full, the GeJ Perique is probably my favorite for the moment.

Both the organic #1 and the perique from GeJ have a strong "top note" that the vaperite juices lack, which I do kind of like, especially the sour note of the Perique. It's more bitter/earthy in the organic. The separate flavors definitely merge a lot (and the top note vanishes) about half way through the tank. I'm thinking that the GeJ liquids are fresher than vaperites. Todd has always sent me juices that were at least a couple weeks old (he puts the creation dates on the bottles) so I'll bet that the GeJ liquids will benefit more from steeping.

So I'd say that vaperite and GeJ are definitely in the same league as far as their pure-tobacco liquids go. They both have excellent tobacco flavor, and nothing else.

I can totally concur that the GeJ liquids are much gentler on wicks and coils, and do not discolor as much from being heated as vaperite's juices do. At first I thought they were thinner, but I was wrong, they're about the same thickness, but the GeJ liquids do seem to wick better, as I can vape at a higher voltage without drying out the wick.

I'm looking forward to trying a few more from GeJ. Though more than that I'm looking forward to my soon-to-be-placed order from HHV.

Maybe someone can suggest a juice I'm looking for. It's simple tobacco + sweet. When you smell it , it smells sweet. When you vape it on the inhale you catch a bit of sweetness on the tip of your tongue and on the exhale you get a smooth tobacco taste. Aftertaste is just tobacco. I would say it has to be natural tobacco. I get no chemical nor alcohol aftertaste. I thought maybe it was in the RY family just less sweet, maybe a RY1 but not so sure anymore.

I vape Gandalf at 70/30 pg/vg. I get more of a "pipe" than a cigar vibe from it. I agree that its flavor is very smooth; however I think it is more "gentlemanly" than "subtle". ;)

Can't argue with that, I've only smoked cigars...LOL...Definate cigar/pipe aftertaste I had all night. I'm going to let it steep and see what changes but right now I'd say not an all day vape for me. Maybe I'll try some Heavenly Tobacco? At least I know I'm looking for natural tobacco now. Just sweet tobacco, not overpowering on the sweet. I didn't realize what I was missing with the natural tobacco, I'm really likin this thread. Might just find my all day vape yet!

It sounds like you are looking for something like Virginia from Backwoods Brew.

Has anyone tried the Heavenly Tobacco, Java Smooth from HHV. Feel free to PM me with your thoughts. Also I'm looking at House Blend, Deal Maker, Desperado from Ahlusion. Lots of pages on this thread so I might have missed the reviews...Thanks!

FYI Heavenly Tobacco is not a natural tobacco extract. Not sure about House Blend, but the Ahlusion juices are NET.

House Blend tastes like mocha cake with a very light tobacco base.

Heavenly tobacco goes a little heavier on the vanilla. The caramel is present, but not very sweet. The tobacco base is light.

Mocha Java Smooth has a full-bodied dark roast coffee base with a nutty cocoa bean with some cream and sugar to finish. Very tasty as far as coffee vapes go.

It's funny you said that. I've thought for awhile that it might be Virginia. BWB sounded promising but they don't offer all VG. I'll have to go on a search for something similar.

Have you tried juices from Vermillion River? I would suggest Kentucky Premium Blend and Kentucky Blend No. 7.

I actually started a thread a while back asking for sweet tobacco suggestions, and got a bunch of good ones. I will bump up the thread for your benefit.

The crazy thing about VR is the money back guarantee and the free sample for any new customer (even without a purchase). I don't know of any other juice vendors that will take that chance on their product or customers--though there may be some. Voltron's suggestion of KB7 is seconded by me--I think KB7 is a perfect vape!

Quoted from Vermillion River, "Excellence in your satisfaction: We proudly back every product we sell with a 100% satisfaction Guarantee. If you are not satisfied with any product purchased from Vermillion River Premium E Juice, you can send it back to us within 10 days of purchase for a replacement, store credit, or full refund, your choice. Use our contact form to get the ball rolling."

Sadly no 100% VG...I've given myself a headache today with all the sites I've checked out, gotten hopefull after reading reviews and then realize no VG options...Ahhhh

Are you sensitive or allergic to PG? If you are that's a bummer :(

Eh, not a total bummer. I prefer the heavier VG juices myself. I've been going 50/50 or more with a lot of the juices I've reordered, and I really don't sense much difference if they come from the better vendors out there. So I'm sticking with my likes. These vendors know what they are doing. There are a number of them that are experimenting with VG based tobacco/nic bases now. Which is refreshing.

I personally prefer PG because of the bigger TH and flavor. I also dislike the aftertaste and natural flavor of pure VG. Therefore I like a 70/30 PG/VG ratio. YMMV

I have been in talks with Andrea at The Plume Room (NET vendor) about a few things. I asked her about TPR's pg/vg ratios and this is what she said,

"Hi there. As they are, they are 85% vg/ 15 pg, and that includes the flavorings. The base is 100% VG. I can increase the pg to your tastes, but for it to be 100% PG free, I would have to remove the natural flavorings that give it a kick!"

So, technically it is not all vg, but for those looking for a heavily vg weighted ratio with extracted tobacco, check out The Plume Room. TPR is also in the works of making a few more extracted tobacco juices so we shall see what lies ahead...

This info, including the quote, was reprinted with the expressed written consent of Andrea at the Plume Room. Thanks Andrea!
