For those who have tried HHV juices...Does the Gandalf get carried over to the rest of the purity line juice. I'd like to try some more of her juice. Really impressed on how clean and tasty the juice vapes but I don't care for the cigar/pipe flavor in Gandalf for an all day vape. I wondered if the same is present in her other juices...

Drop Heather and Adam a note. I'm sure they would be thrilled to hear your take on their juices and I can almost guarantee that they would be willing to work with you on the mixtures.

I just ordered several of the tobacco juices from HHV's purity line, and a fruity one, my first foray into non-tobacco liquid. I like the fact that they have a 15mg option, since 18 is too strong for me for heavy vaping, and 12 isn't strong enough, since I don't want to chain vape constantly.

Now waiting patiently. Well, mostly patiently :)

Still loving the GeJ liquids. They continue to improve with age.

You are right about the GeJ liquids, though I can't seem to keep them around too long. I just re-ordered several 30 mL bottles and will order the same after a couple weeks so that I can guarantee longer term maturation. I will be doing the same thing with HHV. 30 mL backing up my 30 mL is the way to go.

Maybe someone can suggest a juice I'm looking for. It's simple tobacco + sweet. When you smell it , it smells sweet. When you vape it on the inhale you catch a bit of sweetness on the tip of your tongue and on the exhale you get a smooth tobacco taste. Aftertaste is just tobacco. I would say it has to be natural tobacco. I get no chemical nor alcohol aftertaste. I thought maybe it was in the RY family just less sweet, maybe a RY1 but not so sure anymore.

Vermillion rivers premium kentucky blends you should give a try. All of the ones listed in their premium line are slightly sweet, only one that is more of a basic tobacco is their classic blend. I tend to stay away from the sweet smelling and slightly sweet cause, im just very sensitive to sweet. I think you might like it. What I do is I order the kentucky premium and mix it half and half with their classic blend to get even more of a slight sweetness to it. I really love it, it seems to be my basic everyday juice. I also get the cherrywood and mix it with their classic blend. The classic blend is good by itself. Both of these are good right out of the bottle, but if you let the premiums age a least a week they get even better. I also enjoy Poison from Rawr, good basic tobacco, not sweet not nutty or dry or perfumy.

Hello fellow tobacco lovers, I finally ordered some of Heathers Heavenly Gandalf. Ive been so anxious to give it a go. i got it last week on tues, Ive been trying not to try it yet. On saturday i loaded up some on a carto and tried it out. It is , well, very different. It has over tones of some sort of scotch or whiskey or some sort of alcoholic liquor, cant put my taste buds on it. It is quite strong not bad, but it also has the earthiness of leafy tobacco. It seems I need to let it cure or steep. I cant make my opinion on it. I also trace a touch or cocoa, not chocolate, almost cocoa and coffee? Its quite unique.
I also got a couple of samples when I ordered from MyFreedomsmokes: their classic soldiers tobacco and their classic tobacco menthol. What can I say, I had to restrain myself from gagging and throwing them out. I saturated the carto let is sit for an hour, seemed not to want to soak in. I topped it off and gave it a try. Just awful, it stung and it tasted like it was burning. I dont know if I just blew it, but has anyone ever tried this out? It is dreadful. Ive used alot of commercial tobacco juices that came with kits, etc, though they left an aftertaste or just tasted artificial they werent un-vapable. I had to get out my kentucky cherrywood straight to get the taste away. I drank alot of water and soda to get the taste out, the juice stinks in the bottle and everyone said the room smelled like burned toast fried in a burning toaster,

Interesting Gandolf is in discussion. Now I have been looking for a "tobacco" taste and don't know if I'm trying to find something I don't understand. I have started with Hanseng which isn't anything close to tobacco but it seemed to grow on me. I picked up Jamie's select next from DiscountVapers and here is where I question what I want. Now this tobacco flavor is something I would consider a tobacco flavor. it's earthy, leafy, and the reminder of a freshly opened pack of cigarettes is front stage.

Here is the thing, I don't seem to like it. Cigarettes? How can you replicate them? The taste isn't coming from the tobacco, it is coming from the burning of this said tobacco. Chemically speaking, that is a heck of a time replicating. But alas, I feel like I might not need that. hanseng 3&5 was surprisingly good and maybe I got something going on. But alas, i was looking towards getting something pseudosimilar. Gandolf has caught my eye and so have other "tobacco extracts" from HHV. Does anybody have any recommendation based off what I have wrote so far?

I didn't look it up but 3&5 is probably a pseudonym for 555, like "Red" is for Marlboro and "Desert" is for Camel. I had been looking for a cigarette flavor before I noticed I don't like my cigarettes for their TASTE, and the first one I fell in love with was Smokeless Image's version of 555. When I got my Heather's Gandalf, I hated the first pull. And the second. By the 10th I was hooked, just ordered 30 ml, which I've NEVER done before (though some day I might order more SI 555)

What I liked about my brand of cigarettes was that they didn't taste like O.P's (other peoples') -- they tasted familiar. Just like has happened in the past when I had to change cig brands because my old one was making me cough, it does not take long for the "new" brand to become "my taste." For me, now, 555 or Gandalf are my taste (but nothing like each other!) but I need WTA to be satisfied, so I mix them since no WTA flavor I've tried so far "called" to me.

I've just ordered some Perique from GoodEjuice, so we'll see if I've found a 3rd favorite (or unseated one of the other two) in a week or so.

Everything depends on what you're looking for. Some liquids are just straight up tobacco with no added flavors. Others have flavors added to create something new. A lot of ex-cigarette vapers won't use any of the natural tobacco liquids. They smoked cigarettes for the nicotine/feeling rather than flavor. I personally smoked premium cigars and pipe tobacco so I only smoked for the flavor. This is why almost every artificial tobacco flavor tastes horrible to me.

Gandolf is a sweeter tobacco flavor that seems to be very likable (according to ecf). Other very likable flavors include Boba's Bounty, Copper Creek House Blend, Nite Lite Bounty Hunter, etc. Maybe give Gandolf a try just on that fact. If you're really looking for a true tobacco, I'd hit up Vaperite Natural tobacco or Goodejuice Perique and Patriot.

This is sound advice. I like to think of Gandalf as part of the tobacco family, but not exactly what I turn to when I want tobacco. However, if you are looking for cigarette "taste," I would go with a lab juice like Halo Freedom or Vapor Station Tampa or Texas. I do find it interesting that the best cigarette clones don't actually have real tobacco as an extract...kinda says something, don't ya' think?

Ah, I can't believe I didn't figure that out. Definitely makes sense to me and I'll be looking more into the 555 styles. And tell me how Perique goes, my cigs of choice themselves were Perique.

I'm definitely going to be ordering Gandolf later on today but want to get one more HHV flavor. Just got to decide if I want to continue on with similar flavors or go for something like Angel's kiss and start to try the non-tobacco flavors (I have cherry blossom in right now from madvapes and I honestly am in love with it).

I did ponder this a bit before and frankly speaking, the taste isn't the tobacco itself. The taste is the smoke. The taste comes from burning the tobacco, not eating it. I figure it is rather really difficult to replicate a taste that only exists because of chemical reaction.

I hope this isen't too far off base but i'm looking for a real tabacco taste, i used to analog amer sprits and found wta to keep me away and still am and don't really need the wta to do it but i don't believe i've ever had any juice that is really truly close to real tabacco taste. Maybe i'll try this Gandolf blend as i've found in juice that i like the sweeter stuff even if it doesn't really taste like the real tabacco. Hope this is ok and maybe i can post some results:blink:

That is what I used to smoke. I can't do too sweet, certain vapes start getting cloying and loud and the antithesis to tobacco. I like a little sweetness to go with more earthy flavors but that's about it. You WILL find some amazing tobacco "flavors" very soon...I can feel it. ;)

Get a Vaperite tobacco sampler.

It is only $7.00 for three samples and you can pick and choose.
I would recommend some, but almost all of them are very good, depending on what you like.

Their VR4 won an award for best RY4 juice.
So if you like RY4 then you might want to throw that in.

I think their Tuscany Tobacco is probably as close as you'll ever get to a cigarette, if that is what you want.
But really, each of their tobacco juices are unique, and I can't recommend one over another unless I know what you're looking for.
:)

Me personally?

I like the VR4, the Virginia, the 777 blend, and the Black Perique.
What you might like may be totally different.
:)

I will hit you up later. It will be fine, but there are a couple things you should know long term.
