Hello , i need some advise from you guys, Ive decided to take my next step into flavor experience, I just got a couple of attys ; a joyetech 510 LR and a IkV 210 1.8 LR . I need to properly prime them? The joyetech seems to have quite a bit of primer alreay on it, and the IKV not sure. If anyone has advise on proper atty first time use Id appreciate it and especially how to get the IKV one going.

First thing is blow out the primer. Just take a paper towel/tissue/toilet paper and get the nasty stuff out by blowing on the female end (it's not dirty, it's what an open end is called). Then drip some liquid on the atty and wait a few minutes to make sure it soaks in. After that drip regularly and you're good to go. I'd recommend a drip shield. I bought one when I got my epipe so I can drip 20 drops in without having to worry about leakage or liquid coming in my mouth.

When I first break-in an atty, the first few hours I don't actually inhale all that much--just vape and blow. If using a VV, I suggest keeping it low to start and progressively bumping it up .1-.2 every hour or so until you've reached your desired voltage (or wattage but I don't care to split hairs right now).

thank you, Ive tried what you both suggested, been taking it slow, but thing I do notice is that the attys get real , real warm. Is this normal. Both the attys are LR. The little joyetech one especially. I used an average drip tip, tried the acrylic and a ceramic one, doesnt burn my lips. the Ikenvape one its 1.8 Lr the main body of it is same size as a boge carto than it has a black plastic part about the same size that detaches. Do I drip down this plastic part or do I remove it drip onto atty and then put it back? I dont like the plastic thing on top, I removed the black plastic part and put a drip tip onto the top of the stainless tube. It also gets real warm, but doesnt burn my lips. I really do like the taste and the amount of vapor. I just remove the atties after a few puffs and let them rest. I am using them on a KGO 3.7 v with 1100 mah batteries. I also used a freshy charged battery which is supposed to be at about 4.0 v when fresh. I will eventually use these on a saber touch 3.7 /6 volt AVP, I will be using it at the 3.7. thank you

I currently use ss pot-belly mings and the attys do get hot, though I really don't know because I hardly ever touch them. The drip tips are nice and comfortable, barely any heat. Lr does get vastly more hot that sr or hr.

I believe Im using natural tobaccos, I use:
Vermillion Rivers premium blends Kentucky cherry wood, nice not too sweet and their Classic blend-clean, no nuts or fruit.
Rawr Poison, nice clean no nut, not sweet.
Heathers Heavenly Gandalf, not ready vape, steeping
Highbrow tobac de perique, nice spice needs to steep about 2 weeks min.
I wanted to take these to the next level so I tried those atties and the vivi nova, btw the taste I get from the atties is almost identical to the vivi, and I like the short wick version, NOT the long wick. Much better taste and tons of vapor.

Because they're low resistance, they're going to get pretty hot. I use standard attys myself but have used low res and that got smoking hot. A drip shield covers the atty therefore you won't ever get burnt from it. That's another reason I got one.

Perhaps I can clarify. Do you mean that the topic of this thread (in the "General E-Liquid Discussion" Subforum) is "Natural Tobacco Juices," and not, i.e., proper use and maintenance of atomizers? :D

:offtopic: :)

Gee And here I was thinking it was just Mr. M whining about his wait for his HoL order. LOLOL (Btw vaping my head off today with El Toro, which I always find good for those "really want a cigarette" days.

I should hope he does, we all know you're a sweetie at heart (but don't worry, I won't let on)

Yep, DD was first (of course and again) tasted by Luce and then the flavor went out of rotation. Ahlusion was building a separate mixing area for their Premium atomatic blends and DD is finally available; BGB (Blue Grass Burley) will be available soon (like within a week or so). Vape that good stuff people!

p.s. Hey folk, Ahlusion is on the ball and their finger is on my, I mean, the pulse!!!!!! Communicate with them, ask many questions and you will see what I am talking about.

Just plopped down an order for DD and Smooth Criminal. Plus a notify me for BGB. I need a bigger juice organizer. Fast. :2cool:

Good to see this stuff is slowly going back into stock again. I've been waiting to try these juices. Thanks for the heads up.

I am thinking this thread is going to get hoppin' again soon. This thread is always active, but I think we need some fresh blood up in here. As much as Luce did to start this thread out (for those who haven't, look at the beginning), we should be doing more...we need more reviews in here! Hell, I need to do an actual dayum review once and awhile!

Get a Vaperite tobacco sampler.

It is only $7.00 for three samples and you can pick and choose.
I would recommend some, but almost all of them are very good, depending on what you like.

Their VR4 won an award for best RY4 juice.
So if you like RY4 then you might want to throw that in.

I think their Tuscany Tobacco is probably as close as you'll ever get to a cigarette, if that is what you want.
But really, each of their tobacco juices are unique, and I can't recommend one over another unless I know what you're looking for.
:)

Me personally?

I like the VR4, the Virginia, the 777 blend, and the Black Perique.
What you might like may be totally different.
:)

FYI...Vaperite is celebrating it's grand opening of their retail store...August 18th online customers will enjoy free shipping from 12:00 a.m. until 11:59 p.m....Would be a good time to sample their juices.

I received my samples yesterday. All passed the smell test...I couldn't wait so I've been sample tasting some....
