Using cartos on BGB or Devil Dog? Blasphemy! Such gold much only be served in the atomizer!

Seriously though, Mann is right. They shouldn't hurt a carto too much. The flavor may linger a bit in the filler because they are so strong. I'm getting a rebuildable atomizer just so I can take them on trips without dripping and driving (which I only did at only stop signs and stop lights, honestly).
I know 20 lashes with a wet noodle...I like dripping but man I am on the go all the time so use cartos and usally vape at 6-7v with dc at 3ohms or 1.6ohm at 5v.I've used alot of 100%vg juices lately and with dc they seem to do well at hv with the filler so I would think these juices at 70/30 pg vg would do alright.

Really just want to try some good strong NET's.I've had Vaperite not strong enough or to sweet for me and have tried others so hoping how your explaining BGB works for me that way:)

Gee. All I said was try House of Liquids and somehow created Frankenvape! I dunno Mwa...I seem to recall that sample testing was called for. What say you Tez and Mr M?

What the Heck am I gonna have to do to get some of you guys to buy some of this fresh leaf at Leafony dot com and to start working with this, spray that leaf down lightly with cool water in a spray bottle lay it out on paper towel till it's just about dry again then crumble up into small buds and stuff those 50-60ml bottles and pour your Nic/PG/VG base in the bottle till full, let steep for 1 month. Be the best dam tobacco's you're ever had. Then once you get use to a few different Types of Tobacco leaf you can start mixing 2 of them together then 3. It's also fantastic to make other juices using this freshly steeped juice as your base. Sheesh c'mon I wanna see someone else doing this, it's dam easy guyz, and FABULOUS anyone who says its not is full of it. I just added a pinch of apple to one of mine and I can't get over just how super this is. I was really hoping to be able to compare some notes by now with a few of you guys, especially YOU Mr Mann and a few others.

Apologies to Eleanor, but 2 days steeping is all I can wait to try some of these. I'll give them a proper steep after and see if there's any change. Mr.Mann suggested I try them in this order: Vita Bella, Natural Perique, Wild Turkey, Acadian Gold, Organic Tobacco #1.

Vita Bella - check. Natural Perique - in the mail somewhere. Wild Turkey - vaping it now.

My initial Wild Turkey impressions. This is straight up, no nonsense tobacco, period. No frills, no thrills, just tobacco. It's not complex, you won't find yourself searching for an elusive "what's that flavor". It's clean, nothing perfume-y or chemically. Nice and full flavored, yet very mild. It doesn't get in my face like Vita Bella did. It tastes very much like how I remember a freshly opened pack of cigarettes smelling. I could recommend this to one of those newbie vapers looking for a "cigarette" juice (calling it a cigarette juice doesn't do it justice, but hopefully you know what I mean). No, it doesn't taste like a Marlboro, but it does have a cigarette-y feel to me.

I like it, but so far it isn't very "exciting". Vita Bella, even though it was a little overwhelming to me at first, has more of an "excitement factor". Vita Bella does a little tap dance on my tongue, and kind of reminds me of smoking a pipe, where Wild Turkey is more of a straight cigarette type experience. As always, ymmv.

Acadian Gold on deck.

Alright I am getting a little overwhelmed reading all of these posts and I wanted to ask before I made an order with GeJ. I read that they discontinued WT because of seasons in growing tobacco or something like that, but does that affect the rest of the juices from GeJ also? I read through the whole HHV thread and got it in today and my initial impression, just sampling gandalf and heavenly tobacco is that there is a little too much of a chocolate/cocoa taste for me. In fact all of the samples smell chocolatey to me. I have them steeping so we’ll see, but I think I am after more of a flavor from the descriptions of the GeJ juice. I like a no frills straight, dry, peppery tobacco flavor, but I also like a good not too sweet ry4 and even a 555 every now and then.

GeJ discontinued the WL (Wrangler Lite). Based on what you are stating as your preferred taste, I'd say order Patriot, maybe Organic Tobacco #1, GJ4 and Vita Bella. I'd also HIGHLY recommend Ahlusion's Devil Dog.

What is the highest nic you can vape? I ask because I strongly recommend GeJ tobaccos be vaped at the highest possible nic for a particular vaper. I go anywhere between 18 and 32 mg from GeJ, though I normally vape about 18 mg from other vendors.

For me that's such a high nicotine level! I was vaping 6mg last night and overdosed. First my stomach felt sick, then my hands started to tingle, then I started sweating, and finally my mouth was officially renamed Old Faithful II.

Hmmm. Scratching head????

Just tried to order some Devil Dog and more BGB from Ahlusion, while they still have them in stock, and everything says "Closed for the Day"?? Are they going to be open again soon? Wondering what happened to them?? The BGB I got yesterday is pretty good, am enjoying it.

Maybe open tomorrow?

Hopefully open tomorrow. They have to catch up with their popularity now. Devil Dog is in extremely high demand so they're trying to make the same quality product in larger quantities with sacrificing quality. They were pretty big before they came out with the Premium Tobacco line but now that more people tried the premiums they're in high demand. Hopefully you can get in on some when they open again. In my opinion, Ahlusion makes the best extracted tobacco out there. I hope they eventually get their Sweet Georgia Peach made. That one is just as good as Devil Dog and BGB.

Man, I have been waiting on SGP and SC for quite awhile. No rush though, I just am enamored with the depth, brilliance, and clarity Ahlusion is able to get out of those leaves. The fact that they don't kill attys, quite frankly, just puts them in the lead of NET producers AFAIC.

Lastly, the fact that Wlad is willing to explain as much as he can about his process and the leaves being used is the secret combination to me keeping my wallet open to buy those juices. I refuse to open my wallet with vendors who won't open up to me/us. Secrets are cool, but you can keep the mystery! I don't like consumable mysteries.

Went back and re-checked order situation and they were open so I nailed the order I wanted. Great

I really appreciate this thread it has been really helpful. The NETs seem so much richer or better than the other stuff. Reading your reviews has helped to understand a bit more about flavors or blends/whatever. It has helped me to try and sense the various aspects of a flavor. I either like 'em or I don't. Kinda new to all this.

Thanks.

This is key! Many of the vendors (but not all) that we review and champion around here tell you which leaves go into the juice. This bit of information is very critical in our understanding of what it is that best suits us. I have learned a lot about tobacco from my very detailed and informative talks with Wlad at Ahlusion, Nick at GeJ, and Donnley at W2V. An informed buyer is a happy buyer.

As you know, I am not a NET connoisseur. At least in the way many here are. I'm talking about the hardcore NETs with little flavor shaping where the raw tobacco itself is allowed to shine through. I find I don't dislike them, but nor are they in my "favorites". That aside, I have recently sampled two NETs (in the category described above) that I am very much enjoying. Both are from Qucik nic. One is called "Habana Daydream". It's a blend of four or five extracts with no sweetners. The best descriptor I can come up with is "pleasant". It's a cigar flavor all the way and reminds me of a buddy I had who was into cigars. He'd give me cigars now and then to try and "Habana Daydream" reminds me of the best ones he gave me. I could order this one again. The other Quick nic I liked was Grandpa's Night Cap. This is an English Pipe Tobacco. Slightly sweeter but also pleasant. Kind of reminds me of 4th of July...that sweetish smell of detonated fireworks. I know, not an especially good descriptor, but that's what it reminds me of. I believe Quick nic has other NETS too. I just happened to like these two the most. "Pleasant".

Thanks Bronze, I'm on it. I really like how detailed some of their ingredient profiles are. For example: "We make this extract from a flavorful blend of Virginias, Perique, unsweetened Black Cavendish with a dash of Latakia and a spoonful of rich cigar leaf."

Anytime I read extracted tobacco, but don't see any further information about what's really in the juice, I don't care who it is, I am not buying it. Tobacco itself does not tell me much other than some kind of leaf (plant) in the family Nicotiana where there are at least 70 different species. I don't know too many coffee connoisseurs who buy beans labeled "coffee."

The owner actually wrote me a note and gave me his personal email address. If you want it, let me know and I will PM to you. His right hand man is also a real nice guy (Rich I believe his name is). Seems like they would answer any questions you might have.

Boy, people are talking more and more about cigars and cigar taste. Well this go me thinking about a little cigar that I really liked now and then. They were called Al Capone Sweets Cognac dipped , a very good little cigar.
To find a e-liquid/juice like them would be great ! Even close to the taste with Cognac of course----lol

Huummm , It was just a thought out loud. :) :vapor:

Wild Turkey is not discontinued. The quality of all Goodejuice "house" products (the only GeJ products that I've tried, and I've tried them all, and I like them all) is consisitently superb and Wild Turkey is my current favorite "all day" tobacco vape.

Wrangler Light is discontinued. My understanding is that GoodeJuice were not satisfied with the currently available ingredients for this product so are working on a new product to replace the original Wrangler formula. Goodejuice clearly takes pride in keeping their quality standards high, so you don't have to worry about that. If you want "straight" tobacco flavor there are really only a few vendors to turn to and GeJ is clearly top shelf in this regard.
