"She is gonna lay a load of funk down on your tounge" lol she's getting creative with the descriptions. With those tobaccos used in the extract this has the potential of rasing MVJ NETs to new hights. God I hope this one is well done, sounds like it could be amazing.

Maple Brown Sugar Blend and Banging Butterscotch listed for future versions of Wicked Wench. Sounds good but the original is what I'm excited about the most.

First impressions: Southern Gentleman from MOV

Damn, they switched directions on me again. PenD and SunMorn just blew me away, creamy sweetness and complex flavors done in a way that seperates them, for me, from other NETs. SG is also an accomplishment, but veers off into more familiar territory. I shouldn't hold that against it, but in a childish way my mind just wants more in the style of the other two and wants to reject MOV's plan of expanding the territory.

For what it is it's pretty good, a pipe blend including quite a few different tobaccos and an Amaretto that I guess is what one or more of the tobaccos is flavored with. I don't taste Amaretto at all, which may reveal itself later but I have a guess that it's so buried under all the tobaccos that it may never show. The Latakia shows with the overall smokiness, but I wish that since they are using it they would go further with it like Devil Dog does. Overall a well made juice, complicated enough that I may find more to like about it but I doubt it will be a reorder.

With two amazing to me NETs and two successfully made, well done and enjoyable, but not quite home-runs to me NETs, MOV is one of the vendors I'm most excited about. Please MOV, make more in the spirit of PenD and SunMorn. That's what I want to see, but again that's just me wanting what I want. It's probably smarter for them to expand out more to get a bigger variety of tobacco vapers interested, but the NETs that stick in the direction of the two I love are ones I will keep reordering.

MAPLE BROWN SUGAR?!?! Ahem, I might need someone to get this for me. It is well-known that I have a bit of a maple fetish.

Jerms, I thought you've tried Apache, no? Apache takes the Latakia to Devil Dog land if that's what you want. I gave some thoughts on it a few days ago when we were all talking latak tabak. ;) (<< haha, I like that) The more I vape it, the more it separates itself from DD, though. The major difference between the two is the Burley in DD and the Oriental in Apache. I'm really starting to be able to pinpoint that dry and spicy character of the Orientals.

If SoGent is mild on the Latakia, I think it's for the better, because the way that stuff can take over a blend is intense. A very delicate hand is needed. I was put off from SoGent from the beginning because of all the ingredients they threw in the pot - it seemed a bit excessive and uncalculated to me. Now I have a feeling that maybe they had to do all that in order to tame the Latakia.

Either way, I'm interested now. Might give it a shot.

Oh, and by the way - I got notification the the German silica is back in stock at RTD. Grabbed some, and looking forward to it.

No, didn't order Apache but will grab some on my second go around with them.

I like your point on SoGent with the Latakia. Last night I was thinking if the Latakia is obvious, you might as well slap me with it. Holding back a little might be something I appreciate as I vape it more. It is still fairly strong on it.

Yeah the tobacco stew I found a little odd too. It does good for the description but didn't seem as complex or unique as it sounded during my first vapes with it. Another aspect that I might grow into later with it.

Hey Nick, is the wick braided? I've been looking for braided wick for awhile now.

" Oh, and by the way - I got notification the the German silica is back in stock at RTD. Grabbed some, and looking forward to it. "

Boomer, it's not braided in the same sense as the the ceramic and silica sleeve that's sold (say that 5 times fast), but it is braided. The braid comes undone for the small wicks I use but it works good that way and is really durable. I took a couple pictures of it next to twisted silica several pages back.

When I think back to the "old days" before NETs began proliferating like bunny rabbits (which has made me a very happy vaper), I'm reminded of the roughly 15-month period from May 2011 to August 2012. NLV Bounty Hunter appeared at the beginning of that period, and I vaped a lot of BH quite happily. NLV GOLD came on the scene in early 2012, and that pair became central juices in my daily stable until the end of summer 2012.

Now both of those TINOs have moved from the head of my pack to the tail end of the line. Oh, I still vape them a bit on rare occasions, and I remember vaguely why I liked them so much, but they can't hold a candle to the current crop of NETs, and their formerly royal raiments now appear tattered, torn, and shabby.

The main reason I even thought of the past is that Ahlusion Smooth Criminal and MOV Sunday Morning have taken over the prime spots in my vaping palace at Versailles that were once reserved for BH and Gold. I can't say how long this current pair of SC and SM will reign, since competition is fiercer than ever among the 50-or-so princely NETs in the royal court, all of which have pretensions to the throne. No doubt the day will come sooner than later when some even newer OMG NETs show up, fomenting a palace coup so that one or both of my current faves are deposed, assassinated, or knocked rudely from their thrones, but that's how vaping love affairs go.

Even as we close in on a decade since vaping was invented, seems to me that we still have a ways to go of "building significantly better mousetraps" in juices and hardware. (That's assuming, of course, that no economic or financial global meltdown occurs, in which case all bets are off.)

Nice post Bill. Those two NETs are ranking near the top for me too, for how long no idea, probably until I spot the next with a classier attitude, raunchier sense of humor, longer browner hair, bigger eyes, longer legs, or wearing a shorter skirt. Wait, what? I'm just grateful that my bar set is being matched and surpassed a lot lately. Great times for NET vapers.

Today my VAMO button went goofy. Only activating half the time, might have gotten juice in there. Posted for help in the VAMO section but no takers yet. This sucks, it's my only APV, should have had a back-up by now. Really hoping for an easy fix. Any ideas here?

Mine went wonky this weekend. Turned out it was the battery. VAMO's are picky I guess and they don't like Efest or big honkin batteries with buttons. Did you change your battery when the button acted up?

My VAMO sucks azz, to be honest. Is it turning off when you're pressing the button? Or it it staying on, but just not firing?

Just not firing, guessing it's not making the connection. Works sometimes right, and sometimes have to push it down really hard. No way to really clean where it makes the connection as far as I know. Can't afford a more reliable VV APV (one that also let's me go lower than 1.2 ohms) for a while, so gonna be "Twist"ing in for a bit unless I can fix this.

Yeah, it's def the button. No ideas, really. :( Unless you know of a way to open it up.

Yeah, I'm hoping for an easy solution, but have a feeling I'll need to find away to get access to where the button makes the connection and clean it. Will turn to the modders forum if I have to, but I'm not very mechanically inclined.
